@kwastell no I didn't ovulate early because I was using the Clearblue Digital ovulation so I know practically to the day when I ovulated so there's no doubt about that. & I was tracking my RHR resting heart rate & I had pain & EWCM so it all ties in🙈 but I know it's unusual to see a line that strong at 9DPO🙉
@lastditchattempt20 I think I did implant early as the implantation bleeding started at 7DPO, which I originally thought it was my period about to start.
AF is due tomorrow so if I get past tomorrow and she doesn't come I will relax a little.
I am also abit worried there is more than one in there because it's such a strong line so early!!🙈
So 10DPO today 11 at the most. I will be reading through & catching up properly.
I recognise both you ladies names from the conception thread. I was also in the silver fox thread aswel.
How far are you ladies now? X

kwastell · 03/09/2020 10:32

@Chlo2701 from what I've read it's a really positive sign getting a super strong line early on. Fingers crossed for you. Hopefully not twins if that's not what you'd want (I was secretly hoping for twins - I have no idea why)

I'm 9 weeks 5 days now and all seems to be going well from a scan earlier this week 😃

I'm 9 +1 today and last scan was all fine at just over 7w. Getting nervous again though so will prob book a private scan for next week as I can't wait until 12 weeks.

Semele5069 · 03/09/2020 14:39

I'm considering booking a private scan for the 7 week mark. That feels significant as I've never made it that far!

I want to try to make a GP appointment next week though to see if she could get me an NHS one. She told me after the last miscarriage to let her know as soon as I know I'm pregnant again, but I'm reluctant to call now as work is so busy and the receptionists will only give you a half day time slot for a call, not an appointment time so I can't see how I'd manage one for another week or so.

kwastell · 03/09/2020 18:09

I find the whole system with GP appointments really frustrating too @Semele5069. It's impossible to do it with work. My doctors has a system where they call you but you don't know what time it will be. If you don't answer they call you back in an hour, and if you don't answer then you have to start the process again. In the end I had to just bite the bullet and drop stuff with work to answer the call.

My doctor wouldn't refer me for an early scan even though I've had 3 previous miscarriages because of the COVID situation. Hopefully yours will as they previously said they would.

@Chlo2701 Congratulations 🎉

How is everyone doing this week?

I have my 12 week scan tomorrow morning, which I’m really excited about. If baby is still growing according to the dates I should be 12w 1d tomorrow.

Still pretty tired and feel so sick if I don’t eat something every couple of hours.

kwastell · 03/09/2020 19:53

Ooh exciting for your 12 week scan @KJB2020

I'm feeling a bit sick but not too bad. Am really annoyed at my husband at the moment, but think that's because he's annoying rather than anything pregnancy related. 😂

Hope all goes well this morning @KJB2020 ☺️

KJB2020 · 04/09/2020 10:52

Happy Friday Ladies! All good at scan this morning and baby is measuring at 12w3d so due date is 16/3/21. Lots of movement and amazing seeing the level of detail at this scan! 😍 Also neck measurement for Downs screening was normal.

That's great @KJB2020 ! Lovely picture. Congrats!
I'm feeling so impatient and made even worse by just not 'feeling' pregnant. I've got most of the classic first trimester symptoms but nothing dramatic- just wish I could believe it more. Anyone else feel like this? Scan feels like ages away...

kwastell · 04/09/2020 11:31

Lovely scan pic @KJB2020 ❤️ very happy for you.

I feel similar @lastditchattempt20. I don't feel as ill did with my first, although I do feel like there's something down there.

When's your next scan @lastditchattempt20?

OP posts:

@kwastell

When's your next scan *@lastditchattempt20*?
24th....
KJB2020 · 04/09/2020 14:21

Thank you @lastditchattempt20 and @kwastell 😁

When is your next scan lastditchattempt20?

I guess it’s good that everyone is feeling quite well 😁

lastditchattempt20 · 04/09/2020 15:15

It's 3 weeks away still, on 24th. I do feel bouts of nausea, sore boobs, exhausted, all the typical. But just feels like there should be 'more'? 🤷🏻‍♀️ I'm prob not making any sense. Reading threads on MN makes you feel like so many pregnancies end in MMC that you forget how rare it actually is past a certain gestation.

CakeAndPreggers · 04/09/2020 16:27

@lastditchattempt20 yes I do too. We have a private scan on Sunday and I will be 8+4 with a midwife appt next week. My nhs scan is not til 12+6 and that feels like such a long time. Glad I'm working from home else I'd want to tell everyone!

kwastell · 04/09/2020 16:42

These stats about the risk of miscarriage after seeing a heartbeat made me feel a lot more confident:

One research study of more than 300 women with a history of recurrent miscarriage showed that those who saw a heartbeat at 6 weeks of pregnancy had a 78% chance of the pregnancy continuing. It also showed that seeing a heartbeat at 8 weeks increased the chance of a continuing pregnancy to 98% and at 10 weeks that went up to 99.4%.

@kwastell thank you for sharing those stats. So reassuring

kwastell · 04/09/2020 20:48

That's after 3+ miscarriages in a row, so think the stats are better without that history.

Lovely scan @KJB2020 and hope your scan went well @CakeAndPreggers. I've not posted for a while as not much happening here and generally feeling bit worried about everything. I have 12 week scan on Friday and just want to get it over with.

I'm frustrated with myself as many people would give their eye teeth to be pregnant and I feel I'm wasting it worrying and feel shit. Ugh! How's everyone x

lastditchattempt20 · 07/09/2020 11:38

Hi @Homassy sorry you're feeling down. To be honest I'm the same- just feel not much is happening.
Don't let it make you feel guilty though- just because we're lucky enough to be pregnant doesn't mean we have to enjoy every minute on behalf of those who are still TTC. It's really tough with all the anxiety, never mind the nausea etc.
Have a private scan booked for Wed which should be 10 weeks. Good luck for Friday.

kwastell · 07/09/2020 17:11

Sorry you're worried @Homassy I bet Friday can't come soon enough.

I agree with @lastditchattempt20 I think we can be grateful we're lucky enough to be pregnant now, but still have the right to be worried and anxious. I've kicked myself a few times when I've been worrying about how much I would have given 6 months ago to be in this position, but I think we need to let our worries out.

Exciting for you scan on Wednesday @lastditchattempt20

I had my booking appointment with the midwife this morning. Was great, and they were lovely.

Got 12 week scan booked in for Monday 21 Sep and a consultant appointment booked for the week after to discuss the birth (I had shoulder dystocia with my first so am anxious about that happening again)

I looked at my notes after the meeting and when she asked about alcohol she's put that I've been drinking 2-3 times a week - but I meant before I was pregnant 🙈 No wonder she gave me a big talk about avoiding alcohol during pregnancy. I thought she was just running through the usual spiel - will have to get that corrected when I next see her 🙈
