@glasses2020 I just think doing the private will ease our minds and especially as this is our first pregnancy ever I would like to actually know it's true haha even though the sickness and symptoms make it so just need to see with my own eyes 👀

Hi guys can I be added in? I am 12dpo and got my BFP (faint) 3 days ago on a frer. I was due to start my period on monday. Yesterday was a stronger clear line but today's line was visable but slightly fainter. I haven't received a positive on the clear blue tests yet which is also somewhat worrying as should I not of reached 25hcg by now? I have been having some small amounts of brown discharge since Monday and today I noticed a tiny bit of red blood mixed with cm twice when wiping. I don't know if I'm minds playing tricks with me but I don't fell as sick as I did yesterday and im so afraid to ring the Dr to get checked because I don't want to be pushed off the waiting list for fertility treatment if I need it. Does anyone have any advice or is it just a wait and see game? If I went to the Dr would there be anything they could do for me ? Thanks everyone

Tiff94 · 05/08/2020 16:21

@Mamainmaking1 welcome to the group. I'm not sure if the gp will do much every time I've spoken to them they just tell me they don't deal with pregnancy's. Maybe try giving your local early pregnancy unit a call and then about the discharge they may have better advice then me.. xx wishing you all the best

How is everyone today? I had a bad nights sleep so feeling flat today. My son is with the in-laws so I can actually rest but I feel lethargic from not doing anything. Sometimes you cant win can you 😂

@Mamainmaking1 how are you getting on today? I agree, theres nothing the doctors would be able to do or advise unfortunately. So frustrating when you just want to know what's going on xx

BuckleUp · 06/08/2020 07:49

Ergh I made the mistake of having a bath last night at my usual temperature without thinking. I overheated, nearly fainted and now I'm worried I've damaged bean.. I now know warm baths are fine, but hot baths should be avoided - so hoping this is a one off that I can get away with 🤞🏻. Anyone else experienced this?

Tiff94 · 06/08/2020 07:58

@BuckleUp you should be alright I'm a normal hot bath person and have continued since I found out and I don't thinks it's done anything. Hot baths doesn't normally affect women as they do men because our womb is inside us it stays a certain temp all the time. I find now everytime I have a bath if I'm in too long I get nauseous

BuckleUp · 06/08/2020 08:04

@Tiff94 Thank you, that's a relief. I usually shower so don't have baths very frequently and just didn't think I might be more susceptible to overheating now. Then I made the mistake of googling it and everywhere says it's bad especially in the first trimester.. I hope some of these worries will go after the first scan lol

Tiff94 · 06/08/2020 08:11

@BuckleUp I read a lot into it when starting to conceive as it's my relaxing almost everyday. I never found anything to say it bad and literally I'm in the bath almost everyday. If you do just try limit yourself to how long your in there for I normally about 15/20min max now when I start feeling sick I jump in a bath. I've had plenty times feeling faint after getting out even before i found out I was pregnant. It's just the temp of your body when you get out mixed with the cold makes you not feel the best. Try sitting down moment your get out see how that makes you feel. Xx

@Tiff94 Thank you for your advice, you're probably right and I just overheated a little. How are you today? I hope your nausea has died down a bit x

Tiff94 · 06/08/2020 08:43

@BuckleUp it's bad first up when I wake but when I've eaten and rested a little I'm feeling better now. It comes and goes it seems. How you feeling today ?

OP posts:
BuckleUp · 06/08/2020 08:52

@Tiff94 At least you've found ways of managing it. I'm ok, still early days so not sure when/if nausea will strike. Boobs are still on fire and my cramps are back again today. DH is super excited though so that makes me happy 😊

Tiff94 · 06/08/2020 08:57

@BuckleUp it's so great watching them excited isn't it. My DH still can't believe it like me sometime we're just stare at each other in shock and laugh like are we dreaming...

Hey ladies, can i join?

I am 5w5 and due 3rd april.
First baby !

Had a MC in December so a little paranoid that i still dont have any nausea 😒🙄

Got a private scan booked for 21st

npn1989 · 06/08/2020 15:03

Welcome @SunnySideUp2020! Sorry to hear about your MC. Remember not everyone gets nauseous. I had absolutely no nausea at all with my first pregnancy :) hope you're doing ok xx

SunnySideUp2020 · 06/08/2020 17:04

Thanks @npn1989
I know some people are spared but i think I'd rather have it 😬 (well i say that now...)

yevans · 06/08/2020 17:17

@SunnySideUp2020 my nausea didn't start until about week 7 with my last pregnancy! Sorry to hear about your MC last year Flowers

xxhetty · 06/08/2020 17:55

I haven't had any symptoms really except a few cramps and pulls and then today I have been an emotional wreck! Ive cried at everything I'm only 4 weeks so I'm dreading how my hormones will be later on!

How has everyone else been?

BuckleUp · 06/08/2020 18:20

My cramps have been back a little today and I'm sooo tired. Like I could just shut my eyes and fall asleep standing. Also have a terrible taste in my mouth which makes me want to eat but I'm then full up really quickly.. Bean has a lot to answer for at only 4.5 weeks!

glasses2020 · 06/08/2020 20:39

@BuckleUp the full thing is so real!! I normally have a huge appetite, but now, I eat a tiny amount and I feel like I have eaten five roast dinners!! X

BuckleUp · 06/08/2020 21:08

@glasses2020 I know! And do you find it feels like the food sits higher up? It's horrid!

glasses2020 · 06/08/2020 22:27

@BuckleUp yes it's horrible, I have really been struggling! I think I cracked it today... I have just had little bits of food all day instead of actual meals. It's helped loads, I hope that maybe it will help you too! X

Tiff94 · 07/08/2020 07:11

@glasses2020 I notice when I snack all day and only eat small meals I feel much better like you girls so bloated and full after eating only small things I could Normally eat a full dinner now I barely even eat half and I'm full. And here they say eat for two haha were barely eating for one

OP posts:
Noneyerbuisness11234 · 07/08/2020 07:35

I never seam to no wat I want to eat then if I think of something I want and make it once it's done I'm like no I dont want that lol feeling nauseous first think and diff times of day but not actually sick a decaf coffee seams to take it away my back and body aches but can't seam to get comfortable in bed
How's everyone else today

glasses2020 · 07/08/2020 07:49

@Tiff94 @Noneyerbuisness11234 yeah totally! Although the bigger meals were making me go to the loo.. and now I'm very constipated, so can't win! Ha ha.

I have read that feelings of nausea and symptoms this early are a hood sign, am I right?! X
