I thought I'd start a thread now that we have recieved our BFP. And for anyone else who has just find out there expecting and will be due in April 2021x

Little about me this will be mine and Dh 1st baby we started try's about 6/7weeks ago. So feel very blessed to see double lines the last couple days. Xx

@glasses2020 with my first I was sick before my period was even late and lasted right through had aching boobs right through too but with this one the nausea only started I done another test yesterday freaking out but it couldn't have been any more positive lol suppose all pregnancy are diff maybe this one will be a little girl lol coz last one was a boy

@Noneyerbuisness11234 I know what you mean. I haven't done another test since my first last Sunday. Trying to hold out a full week, but looking forward to that reassurance and hopefully a stronger line!

@BuckleUp my first tests I done where 4 days after p due where quite faded but 5 diff tests all had positive then that one yesterday was blinding positive still dosnt feel rea though lol

I find the sickness and everything else as a good sign as normally I'm never like this. Feeling alright today after being nauseous early up but like you @Noneyerbuisness11234 it comes on and off throughout the day I haven't done anymore pregnancy tests but i have used my last opks and there blazing postives ( which only show at peak ovulation it when pregnant) haha 😂 so I take that as a good sign too I have my early scan next Thursday so just got to get through the week hopi g everything will be great at the scan

@Tiff94 cannot believe your scan is next week already, seems to have gone so quickly! I am super excitable nervous about mine. I have been not sleeping again. Slight cramps but a lot less than before, boobs a bit sore but honestly outside of that so far no signs... I have decided to keep doing cb digital every week until scan to keep me sane :) doesn't feel real!
Off to a few nights away with OH, downloaded lots of what to expect books and plan to sun and learn, anyone else got any nice relaxing weekend plans?
Are people thinking to find out if having a boy or girl if you can or wait? I couldn't wait personally.

Finding out asap!!! Will do the blood test for abnormalities at 10weeks and i think they can also tell you the sex :)

I find the bounty app great plus freebies and discounts but it has great articles and your day to day pregnancy

Can I join in? Just got bfp 2 days ago. I'm a bit stressed because my doctor's really disorganized and didn't tell me half the things I needed to know. Back on track with the midwife (midhusband in my case) this afternoon though, although all by phone at the moment (I live near Madrid and we're still on major covid alert).

This is my first pregnancy so I'm relieved to read some of you are having some of the same symptoms, like odd cramps. Otherwise in just starving and knackered all the time!

@LaMadrilena welcome glad to have you hear. How's everything going In Madrid at the moment ? Hope your staying safe. This is my first baby too and felt very left in the dark with the gp. Hence private scan early up to settle my own mind until end of sept.

@Milliemoo222 I know it kind of snuck up of me quick I kinda hope this next week goes fast and it's Thursday already and I can see baby. Yours won't be far off then will it ? I'm still undecided if we're going to find out or not. We would love to know but would love the surprise I think we will get to that when the time comes.

We told our parents today 🥰 my MIL and FIL were so excited. They thought they were done for grandkids. They have quite a few 😂. I made these little baby grows for them to share the news.

My mum is really pleased too. Less shocked tho as I’d told her we were thinking about it but my In Laws has no idea 🥰

Hello! I got my BFP today! Looking at the NHS pregnancy calculator my due date is around 22nd April!

@Lettie365 omg that is the cutest and some funny because of my sis sour baby is no. 13 grandchild as well husband side is 1st he's only child.

I came off the pill In April and this was our fourth cycle. Started TTC earlier than planned after postponning our wedding.
Very excited/ nervous/ scared and shocked! Its our first and I have zero idea what I'm doing. Any book recommendations? 🙈

@blodyn91 congratulations I'm so happy for you. Jump online and self refer yourself to your nearest maternity ward they will send you your booking appointment and first scan at around 12 weeks. Gp don't deal with pregnancy theses day. Some of of in here have already booked private scams at 6 weeks for reassurance.xxx

So I have developed one wonderful possible symptom, every day without fail I am wide awake at 4am no matter what time I went to sleep could be worse !

@Lettie365 i know what you mean this heat is ridiculously. I've literally had the worst sleep ever like you @Milliemoo222 I'm awake at 4am. The heat wouldn't allow me back to sleep. Now I feel so knackered 🥱 hows everyone else feeling ?

@Tiff94 the so sane! That's the first night since I found out that I've just had the most terrible (non) sleep! X

@glasses2020 I feel every afternoon I want to nap but I just lay there wide awake by 9 I'm out now. Literally never felt this tired in my life
