Baby buddies due April 202

I thought I'd start a thread now that we have recieved our BFP. And for anyone else who has just find out there expecting and will be due in April 2021x

Little about me this will be mine and Dh 1st baby we started try's about 6/7weeks ago. So feel very blessed to see double lines the last couple days. Xx

We will add the other girls once there BFP come through. So excited to be on this journey with you girls.

Can I join? Due 3rd April and it'll be our second (DS is currently 2). It'll be a gap of over 3 years which is a bit bigger than we'd hoped for but it's taken a bit longer this time (periods taking a while to come back and miscarriage at 11 weeks in March).

Happy but trying not to get too excited until we've had a scan.

@KatieFH yeah I've never had sickness like this before hopefully it stops soon sometime I barely can do anything because of the feeling I have. I don't wish it upon anyone. I'm sure you will get through the next 3 weeks. It's hard not to tell anyone when your so excited. My next door neighbor has been waiting for me to tell her the day I get pregnant now every-time I see her I have to hold my tongue🤣

Hi can I join please? Got my BFP yesterday at 12dpo. Still nervous as it's so early but very excited. EDD 18th April. I have a 4 year old who's been hounding us for a sibling.

@Tiff94 I'm feeling good thanks no symptoms yet apart from tiredness.

@Handsoffisback feel your pain! I could think of anything to eat so I made one thing... them threw it away and made a salad 😆. Xx

@Handsoffisback welcome that's funny it was literally pizza that I stopped mid eating the other night. Like you was desperate for food without cooking literally I ate two piece went to take a bite of the third nope the smell taste everything made me feel so yuk. It ended up in the trash I couldn't eat it. No

How are we all this morning? My cramps have died down since yesterday morning and the metallic taste isn't as constant. Boobs are on fire though and my throat is so scratchy! Is that even a symptom?!

@BuckleUp I am having the most I read dreams, and such deep sleeps (even after a nap in the day!) is this normal? Xx

@glasses2020 I guess so, it's all new for me so I don't really know what is or isn't normal.. I'm definitely more tired at the moment but I haven't been dreaming vividly. I'm just reassured when I take my BBT and it's still high lol. It'll feel more really after that first scan x

Yes I'm with you, it's all such a worry until that scan is showing good news. X

@glasses2020 your lucky you get deep sleep I barely sleep these days even with my naps but having dreams as well like you both said.

Eeek! Just got booked in for my first appointment with a midwife. Booked in for 26th August so I'll be about 7 weeks by then all going well. Annoyingly it coincides with going back on site so will have to come up with an excuse rather than slipping off to the appointment while WFH..

@BuckleUp if it's when your at work just tell them you have an appointment surely then let you off. Is that you booking appointment with the midwife ? Mine is going to be done over the phone on sept 1 but I would have already had a scan done privately by then. xx

Can I join please? Just got my BFP and rough due date of 15/04/21. My little girl is only 8 and a half months and I go back to work in three weeks from this maternity leave so I don't think they will be very happy. I'm excited but nervous about having two under two! X

@Tiff94 You're right, I'll just say I have a doctors appointment. Yeah, it's my booking in appointment with the midwife. They take bloods etc but some will be over the phone to limit exposure. You must be excited for your first scan!

@hels1987 welcome glad to have you hear. You sound like one of my cousins they've just had there second baby and there first is only 11months old. I'm sure your job will be okay they kinda have to haha 😂

@BuckleUp I've been told my bloods ect will be taken at my first nhs scan at 12 weeks half the reason we decided to do a private one. Yes I'm very excited can't wait to see our little bean growing. So glad DH can come to this first one to hopefully the restrictions will lessen by the time we have baby.
