@Tiff94 Thank you, I was fairly sure it's a common feeling, but AF is still only three days late so I keep worrying it'll start up after all. Your plan to tell your boss after the 12 week scan sounds sensible. That way you can do what's best for you and the baby 😊

@glasses2020 That sounds like me too. Lots of cramps and (TMI) struggling to go to the loo.. I'm guessing the cramps will calm down when bean is fully implanted.

Welcome @yevans and @Evori - It's all very exciting and nerve racking isn't it?! Glad I'm not the only one with that weird cramping/pulling feeling!

Tiff94 · 04/08/2020 09:08

@Evori @yevans welcome lady's glad to have you with us during these exciting times...

@BuckleUp I think I will be about 9weeks when I tell her I'm going for my first scan next week at 6.5 weeks

@glasses2020 that's sounds like me almost. Mild pains throughout my stomach moment I eat I swear I'm so full and bloated. I think it's normal just strange for us first time mummas

npn1989 · 04/08/2020 09:15

Welcome ladies! I haven't had much in the way of cramping but im just so tired. Told mum yesterday which was lovely, and like with you girls, my mum had guessed too. We are probably working back in the office 1 day a week from September so I will ask HR about it just before I'm due back. It still doesnt feel real enough for me to ask them about it yet. My colleague is not allowed back in the office before she goes on mat leave in Dec so I'm not sure if no pregnant women are allowed or whether it's because she is further along her pregnancy.

BuckleUp · 04/08/2020 09:16

@Tiff94 Ah I see, is that an additional NHS scan or a private one? I think the more time employers have to plan the better (unless you know they're going to be really unsupportive..). Not long until your first scan then!

Thanks @Tiff94 at least we all have each other!!

NoCallerID · 04/08/2020 09:28

Hi ladies,

congrats to all of you!

Mind if I join?

Got my BFP (well, still faint...) yesterday at 9dpo. I'm still cautious as I had two consecutive chemicals in the last couple of cycles but this time feels different. 🤞🏼

This would be baby #2 (or more #3 since we said goodbye to our little boy beginning of the year due to chromosomal and physical abnormalities).

Very much hoping this will be our little rainbow.
Already got a 2yo boy. Xx

Lettie365 · 04/08/2020 10:05

@Evori huge congratulations. Wishing you a healthy and happy pregnancy.

Tiff94 · 04/08/2020 10:13

@BuckleUp this is a private scan that I booked I didn't want to wait until 12 weeks that's too long haha and DH can't come to that scan but he can come to the private one. I think my boss will be very supportive she's a lovely women. And I know she will be happy for us. I think I will be able to work up until I physically don't think I can.

@glasses2020 that we do...

@NoCallerID congratulations welcome to the club when you think your EDD is ?

@Tiff94 16./17.04.21 according to ovulation.

BuckleUp · 04/08/2020 10:18

@Tiff94 Aww that's a lovely idea, it is such a shame our DPs can't come with us still but I guess I knew it was a possibility when we started TTC during this virus outbreak.. I'm pleased your boss will be supportive, it makes such a difference! Take care 😊

Welcome @NoCallerID I hope those lines progress got you this time 🤞🏻

Tiff94 · 04/08/2020 10:56

@BuckleUp I know I didn't realise he couldn't come until after we got the
BFP and then all my appointments said he's not aloud. I'd feel so babe if he could t come to just one so at least he get to the first one. Will make it easy for me to as I still only half believe it's true haha 😂

Tiff94 · 04/08/2020 11:06

@Noneyerbuisness11234 that's probably why.. I'm in England not far outside London so they've made it more strict I think.

Tiff94 · 04/08/2020 11:10

@KatieFH welcome glad to have you here. Is this your first ? When did you find out isn't it all so exciting..

OP posts:
KatieFH · 04/08/2020 11:29

@Tiff94 thanks lovely! Found out a few days ago currently on holiday in France! (Drove) so made the holiday even better! How about you? Yeah it’s my first, is it yours? Very strange as all new and don’t know what to expect (apart from a baby obviously haha) xx

Tiff94 · 04/08/2020 11:38

@KatieFH what a great holiday surprise yes it's my first too. I have no clue what to expect during these next 8month so we are both in the same boat haha 😂 how is France hope it's nice weather for you. xx

OP posts:
Tiff94 · 04/08/2020 11:38

@KatieFH I found out two weeks ago now and still feel so surreal

OP posts:
KatieFH · 04/08/2020 11:43

@Tiff94 ahh amazing!! 2 weeks ago, how many weeks are you now? So exciting!
Do you have or have had any symptoms at all?
I have sore nipples and bloating 😂 that’s all for now! I’m nervous about work in case I start getting sick I’m not sure what to say to them etc! X

Tiff94 · 04/08/2020 11:50

@KatieFH I'm 5+2/3 I tested before my missed AF and got positive on day 12/13. So far I get nauseous every morning for a little bit but then for about 4/5hours in the evenings end up in bed early most nights because of it. Sore nipples only can in on Friday and now they hurt like crazy I can barely have a bra on because there so hard and sore definitely different to AF sore boobs. I have to pee every so often. Wake 2/3 times in the night which I never did before and sometimes I find I can be half way through eating something and then be like yuk I can't eat that anymore. A lot of bloating moment I eat doesn't matter how much my belly swells. I understand with work I only have to get through another 3 days then I'm off for two weeks ( will have early scan done then) so will tell my boss when I come back should be about 8 + weeks by then.

OP posts:
KatieFH · 04/08/2020 11:58

@Tiff94 gosh the sickness sounds bad!! Poor you! I’m only 4 weeks so that’s coming for me! Yeah the boobs hurting is insane - bra kills!
Yeah I agree with eating half way through and being put off by it and can’t eat anymore!
Ahh good you have 2 weeks off! I will be in work for 3 weeks until I’m 8 weeks so hopefully can avoid telling them until then! X
