I thought I'd start a thread now that we have recieved our BFP. And for anyone else who has just find out there expecting and will be due in April 2021x

Little about me this will be mine and Dh 1st baby we started try's about 6/7weeks ago. So feel very blessed to see double lines the last couple days. Xx

@ML3on4tay what pack is that? I know I probably have baby at my local hospital which I've been referred too it just down the road

I had a tiny bit of nausea last week but I've been ok since. Had hyperemesis last time so expecting it this time to be honest.

@BuckleUp i always make sure i have snacks all the time. As soon as i get hungry i need to eat or the weird nausea will follow!!!

reassuring to see others also have some bad and then some good days.
I was a little concerned that the symptoms were fading, but my boobs hurt more, just the nausea that wasn't as bad today.

@Tiff94 yes I got a booklet about home, hospital labour ward or birth centre. Have you got those options? I know things differ around the country.
Last time I chose the birth centre and it was a mostly positive experience. The midwives were amazing.

Hi guys, just looking to join in.

Got my first ever BFP at 11.30 this morning - my head is swimming with it all!
I was honestly at the point of thinking I wouldn't ever get pregnant. 2.5 years we've been trying and had started fertility treatment a year ago for PCOS. Treatment has been on pause due to covid but miraculously I've now got a BFP naturally with no treatment! I can't believe it.

EDD is 16 April 2021. I had a bit of spotting a few days back which I assumed was gonna be my period but it never came. I've been having little twinges low in my pelvis. I get loads of wee twinges all the time coz my PCOS but now paying so much attention to them all. Hoping my wee bean sticks and is a good egg.

@Tulpabean congratulations isn't us just an amazing feeling wait til it's starts sinking it That's it's real. First timer here too 👋 super exciting I have my first scan In 3 days and I'm so excited and nervous

@ML3on4tay I haven't received that yet I've been checking my hospital there birthing unit it's seems quite good but I may check in the birth centre too I like the idea don't think I will do home birth not for my first

@Tiff94 yeah ours is really good. For me it was just a leaflet and it has little baby feet on it with a different coloured circle saying your notes will carry that too. Last time I just ate pick n mix and listened to our wedding playlist for most of it and it was really chilled. Definitely recommend the pick n mix haha.
I think birth centres usually offer birthing pools and are a bit more relaxed - ours is.

Morning, I’ve just requested to join the Fb group! I’ve definitely commented on one of the April threads on here but not sure which one! Anyway I got my BFP almost 2 weeks ago now and due around 9th April. This is my 7th pregnancy but will hopefully be my 4th baby. I’ve had 3 miscarriages since we started trying for no.4 last year so feeling very nervous x

Hello everyone, can I join in the fun? 😊 First pregnancy, baby due 12th April. Absolutely delighted but no one to talk to about it yet! I'm nearly 30, OH is 35, and we have been 'casually trying' since November. I'm about to start studies again which will be fun to juggle, but at least I won't be working full-time! Symptoms so far - really sore boobs, 4am wakes, dying for a nap the whole day. Also a bit of heartburn after a curry the other night!

So pleased to meet you all and go on this journey together! 💐

Thanks @Tiff94 I’m ok so far, boobs are so sore and nausea is creeping in now. Eating eases it a bit but I’ve gone off food completely! Not fancying anything 👎🏻 How are you?

Morning sickness is not great (and just having nausea so far) but DP is understanding when i just wanna stay on the sofa or take naps, and my mum who had twins and horrible vomiting in pregnancy is also very understanding. So i am able to rest a lot!

Having my first scan on 21st at what i think from LMP should be 7w6 or 7w4 from ovulation. I cannot wait!!!!!!!!
When is yours?

@ml3on4tay Also from the middlands. I've called The Princess Hospital Telford. Awaiting a letter this week or next. Haven't decided about private scan yet. Where have you chosen? Literally no covid cases here, one of the least affected areas so hoping OH can come to everything 😩

Hi all! Please can I join you? It’s my first, just found out this morning, due 8th April and I’m absolutely terrified! It’s so reassuring to read all your stories

I just booked my private scan for when I will be 7 weeks 4 days is that too early for a scan to see anything? I know absolutely nothing! Also when do you get a letter or an appointment from the midwife roughly I have been in touch as I have a high BMI so need extra folic acid.

Tentatively saying hello and joining in. I got my bfp earlier in the week and think I'm due around 13th of April with number 4. I had a missed mc before my last baby so trying not to get too excited too soon.

@blodyn91 @Sals27 the Facebook group shouldn't show up on your profile that your in it. Only other member can see your in the group I've made it private for that reason as I don't want anyone on Facebook knowing for a long time haha 😂 but please join when you like but it's definitely private group once everyone joins I will make it no visible to anyone.. but at present only outsider can see the title of group and that's it. Everyone anyone posts won't been seen unless a member of the group. Xx

@xxhetty I have my early scan on Thursday and I will be 6+5 I will let you know how it's goes they will do both an abdominal and internal scans for me.
