Tired as the crazy thunderstorm last night kept me awake. Never seen anything like it.

Was awful. That’s also the car park that you park in for the maternity area. News report this morning. Some kind people donating car seats for anyone trying to get their new baby home.

@Sexnotgender there's been similar close to us, although my town seemed to get the very tail end of the thunder and lightening this morning so we're lucky we missed the flooding. Glad to be in the shire!

I feel a bit nauseous this morning, first morning I've felt peaky! Hope everyone has a good day today.

ML3on4tay · 12/08/2020 11:54

@blodyn91 I'm Nottingham so should be QMC. I'm on the Facebook group but it is private so no one should know we're in it. Otherwise my family would be furious as they don't know yet haha.
Yeah I've booked a private one at a place in town as the Window on the Womb near me will only scan from 15 weeks. I've booked it for when I'm 8 weeks just to make sure they see something. How're you doing otherwise?

Milliemoo222 · 13/08/2020 07:00

Hi, how is everyone today? Anyone cooled down yet? We got 10 mins of rain and still warm, was disappointed!
@Tiff94 thinking of you today for your early scan, be great to hear about it all Smile

Tiff94 · 13/08/2020 07:18

@Milliemoo222 hey how are you? I agree with your 10mins rain that's all we got was hoping it would cool off but still so bloody hot. I'm a little nervous about my scan have to wait until 12:30 to get it done I'm hoping everything is okay will update you all later xx

Feeling good this morning, got more sleep than the previous night!

Good luck with your scan @Tiff94 Flowers

BuckleUp · 13/08/2020 07:44

@Tiff94 Exciting! Looking forward to hearing all about it 😊. Good luck x

@Milliemoo222 Not too bad today. Nausea definitely hit this week, but it's not unbearable yet. Still getting some cramping and sore boobs too. How are you?

@Sexnotgender Glad you got more sleep last night!

glasses2020 · 13/08/2020 07:44

Feeling so sick today ladies! Poor poor people in that flooding 😞.

It's just started to pour down here (Cornwall).

Good luck today @Tiff94 ☺️

Noneyerbuisness11234 · 13/08/2020 07:49

Good luck today @Tiff94

My sickness has kicked in too the last couple of days

Milliemoo222 · 13/08/2020 07:57

@Tiff94 I am fine thank you. Not really feeling pregnant currently aside from boob pain which is not fun and the heat all well and good :) been doing a test each week to keep me sane!
I understand the nervous feeling, at least your OH will be there with you. Thinking of you!
@Sexnotgender glad to hear it! Amazing really what a decent nights sleep will do!

xxhetty · 13/08/2020 08:16

Good luck today @Tiff94!

Milliemoo222 · 13/08/2020 08:23

Sorry for some reason I replied but could not see the other recent comments!
@Noneyerbuisness11234, @glasses2020 and @BuckleUp sorry to hear that the nausea is bad for you :( I read that sometimes the folic acid that you take can make you feel more sick, I settled on sevenseas as it has added ginger and read that can help with sickness, not sure if it helps but worth a try maybe?
Are you managing to eat and drink?
Just boobs for me so far. Early scan in 9 days (not that I am counting!) So want to see what is going on!

BuckleUp · 13/08/2020 08:30

@Milliemoo222 It's not very bad, it just makes me nervous. I'm still eating and drinking fine, just sometimes don't fancy something and a few smells seem to trigger a wave of yuck 😂. I'm finishing off my last seven seas 'trying for a baby' and then switching over to the pregnant ones with added ginger (though they're as big as horse tablets!). 9 days isn't too long to wait, but I'm sure it'll drag! My first midwife appointment is in 2 weeks and then I might look at booking an early scan so DH can see and I have something to show the parents.

@glasses2020 @Noneyerbuisness11234 sorry to hear your sickness has kicked in. I don't think the heat is helping!

Tiff94 · 13/08/2020 08:31

Thanks ladies will update you all when Ive been. @Milliemoo222 I know so glad my DH can come we both can't wait super excited and nervous

@Milliemoo222 I find my folic acid and pregnacare stop the sickness for a bit never no wat I want to eat so try and eat something when little one eating although he's getting fussy too with the heat but I can eat chocolate and plenty of it which isn't good for my waistband but soo delicious lol and normally I'm not a big chocolate eater strange lol

artyone · 13/08/2020 08:42

Hello please can i join in too. You all seem a lovely chatty group. I got my bfp Tuesday and did a digital yesterday to confirm. I'm 4+2 so early days! Due 20th April.
No symptoms yet but I was quite sick with the other 2 so waiting for it to hit.

Milliemoo222 · 13/08/2020 08:54

@BuckleUp sorry to hear though, but good to hear eating and drinking fine. The seven seas are huge and I break mine as terrible at large pills! 9 days is jot too bad no, but i think it will go slow as keen to go! I really want my DH to see as this is our first and I don't want him to miss out on the experience, whatever that is for us. I have a booking appointment with midwives in over 3 weeks, seems like an age! Then they will try and find me an NHS scan so might be a few weeks from then too!

@Noneyerbuisness11234 I see nothing wrong with all the chocolate!!! Needs must Cake Wink I think the vitamins affect people in different ways, I just stuck to sevenseas as had used their preconceptions and didn't hate them!

glasses2020 · 13/08/2020 09:01

Thanks for all the support guys. I've had nausea since just before my BFP at 4 weeks (that's how I knew) but it is getting worse every day, I don't really want to eat anything, and my stomach turns when I do.

Boobs are so full and sore today, and I feel really under the weather, exhausted and sick. I am 5w 3 days. I have my early scan a week today, so hoping all is ok 🤞🏼 xx

Sexnotgender · 13/08/2020 09:27

Welcome @artyone Smile

Tiff94 · 13/08/2020 09:39

@artyone welcome so happy for your BFP xxx

@glasses2020 mine are the same sore and full today and I agree with the nausea I've had it since just around my BFP and some days it's hard to find anything I want to eat or I will start eating and not want to finish. I'm hating the sick feeling I have especially when it hangs around most of the day. I'm thinking to change my folic acid after reading what the other girls have said maybe that's the reason why I'm feeling awful all the time too.
