I thought I'd start a thread now that we have recieved our BFP. And for anyone else who has just find out there expecting and will be due in April 2021x

Little about me this will be mine and Dh 1st baby we started try's about 6/7weeks ago. So feel very blessed to see double lines the last couple days. Xx

So I've just told my mum!!
I wasn't going to until my parents visit at 7 weeks, we would have just had our early scan. But I spoke to her on the phone today (she is about 5 hours away) and she was feeling so upset from all this covid stuff, and my dad is away caring for his elderly parents, I just had to!

She took it great, but I think was a bit overwhelmed! Then my little brother (who has learning difficulties) came in, so she couldn't talk anymore.

I feel a relief and very excited, but now also more pressure for this to work out. X

@glasses2020 she's your mum you have to tell her. I did mine got very overwhelmed as well because I'd told my dad as well and he let slip to a friend that was there so mum ended up being upset about that ( this all happening in Australia while I'm in uk) but the friend know not to say anything and my mum couldn't be more happier. Can't wait to have our scan next week so then we can tell a few more people

@Tiff94 that's lovely, and I totally get what you mean about other people knowing etc. I told my MIL before my mum, only because my husband was away when I did the test, and he told me I should tell her as she is just around the corner. I knew my mum would be so upset if she wasn't told first, but she was so ill last week I couldn't speak to her. It's so hard!

How far along are you? How many weeks is your scan? X

@glasses2020 yeah it's nice them knowing. I'm 6 weeks today at scan will be 6+5 on Thursday. How far are you now ?

Ah @Tiff94 I'm about a week behind you, will be 5 weeks tomorrow and will be 6+4 at my first scan.

You seem like you have you head a lot more screwed in than me, I am really experiencing severe miscarriage anxiety. Can you give me any tips on how to cope please! X

Just got my BFP. Due 17/18 April with no. 3.
Only real symptoms are the peeing and VERY sore boobs. Bracing myself for the nausea though. If the last two are anything to go by it's going to be a rough ride!

TTC for 11months, miscarriage last October, first baby!

Feeling ok up today apart from sore breasts and tingly nipples and cramping. But today have been hit with tiredness and slight nausea.

I've been to the GP to confirm the pregnancy and need to ring the hospital next week to book.

Hi everyone, can I please join?
Got my BFP last week (2nd Aug) which was a gorgeous birthday present.
Will be our second. Estimated due date is 17th April according to the doctor but 15 according to my app?!
Bit anxious though as I've had a miscarriage before we had our first baby and I was barely nauseous then, with our first I was throwing up before my missed period and this time it comes and goes in waves.... Am planning to book an early scan too.

@glasses2020 I just think positive it's my first ever pregnant so I haven't experienced anything before so can't help but feel good.

Ok so I've joined the 4 am club I am wide awake!!! Also I am a complete tea addict and have completely gone off it the thought of drinking milk makes me feel so sick. DP thinks this is great as he is my tea maker.

I am thinking of getting an early scan at 8 weeks but I haven't booked anywhere yet. Has anyone got recommendations of where to book them?

I'm freaking out a little guys.. just took my BBT and it's dropped massively 😢. I'm hoping it's an anomaly and that it's fine tomorrow but I'm really nervous it's the start of MC. I'm 5 weeks tomorrow. I poas to reassure myself and it is darker than last week which is good but now feeling worried and don't want to wake DH.. I've included pics of my BBT chart and my two tests a week apart.

@BuckleUp the tests you took a week apart when were they taken ? This morning and last week ? Did you take your temp before you got up ? Im not tracking bbt but my temp is 35.4 this morning every other time I check it's 36.3 or higher maybe this happens know idea why. Try not to freak out and think the worst, I'm praying everything is okay for you xx

@xxhetty I'm going with window to the womb. They seem to have a vary of locations my closest is 10mins away. It cost £79 for the scan and they will do both the internal and abdominal and DH. An actual come to the appointment not like NHS.

Morning all, I'm new here!

Had a couple of positive FRERs, so praying it sticks now.

Exciting times! This is my first pregnancy ever, I'm so nervous.

@Tiff94 the darker one was taken this morning and the lighter one was taken last Sunday on 2nd Aug. AF is now 8 days late and I'll be 5 weeks pregnant tomorrow. My temperature was taken before I got up at my usual time. Im hoping it's just a blip and will go up tomorrow morning. Retook my temperature when I woke up just now and it's high, but I can't use this one because I've been up and about. I showed DH my chart and even he looked a little concerned.. we'll just have to see what tomorrow temperature is 🤞🏻

@BuckleUp I'm sure everything is okay if you got that line today that's very dark. I had a quick read on google d read that temp can fluctuate 0.3 in first trimester so this could be why. I hardly ever test temp on up I always forget but since checking earlier and now I'm back up to 36.5. Any chance you had a bad night sleep at all I've heard this can affect temp as well.

@thewallisblue welcome glad to have you here I'm a first time mum/pregnancy too. How have you been feeling so far?

@Tiff94 I hope you're right. It might just be a weird nights sleep or something. I overheated a bit yesterday on a hike so maybe it's my body's response to cool me down. I'll keep you up to date, thanks for the reassurance x

@BuckleUp it was very hot yesterday I felt the heat so much and trouble sleeping with the heat last night. Try stay cool today and check tomorrow I'm sure everything is perfect xx

How's everyone feeling today ?

Nausea has subsided for me today after only being able to eat jelly and custard this morning (I know right such a Healthy breakfast) lack of sleep last night because of this heat has me feeling so tired already.
