Okay I'm still super nervous but time to take the plunge and started a Grad bus for the recent BFPs from the main thread. According to NHS calculator I'm due 18th March and it's #1 for me 😬

@blodyn91 your boobs will look fab in that dress! Don't you worry

I want to breastfeed too but both my sisters milk never came in so worried it's a family problem and I might have to stick to formula 😭

@Ltay2 same! 😭 I was asize 10 with a small belly but now I'm a 14 is but with a bigger belly 😭 that will hopefully be taken over by a baby loool and I hate exercising! Only good thing is I no longer crave chocolate ha

Ltay2 · 10/08/2020 16:35

@Mococo1 I'm looking forward to having a bump just so I can wear different clothes that I normally would feel self conscious about my flabby belly in 😂 although I'll probably end up like a blob and not like a lovely looking pregnant lady with a cute bump 😂😂

SmileyT · 10/08/2020 17:24

@Cocoblue22 hope you are feeling better today ❤️

@Noble89 my next scan is Wednesday feels like bloody ages away but hopefully comes around soon x

@blodyn91 yay to getting your appt date over the next couple weeks ☺️ I just had a quick look at the workouts I was doing before I knew I was preggers last time and even in netball, HR was up around 205, probably should've clocked something as normally find it pretty chilled 😂x

@2020mission 5ft1 over here 💁🏾‍♀️

@Mococo1 @zippityzip when they weighed me I was like mmm... interesting 🧐 the nhs website says that based on my current weight I shouldn't put more than about 25lbs on, so I'm just going to try and keep track so it's healthy baby weight gain and not just McDs 🙈

To say I was so tired today that I could barely form words, I'm impressed with myself that I've come home and managed to prepare a healthy cooked tea for myself, as well as breakfast and lunch to take to work tomorrow 🙌🏼

SmileyT · 10/08/2020 18:56

@Ltay2 ooh what are you having? I need some ideas 🤔

OP posts:
Ltay2 · 10/08/2020 19:01

@SmileyT I am having a garlic & herb chicken steak, Mexican rice, green beans, broccoli and mushrooms. All a bit of a random combination but healthier than the cereal I originally felt like 😂

blodyn91 · 10/08/2020 19:07

I forgot to post earlier re RHR @Ltay2 mine is a bit all over the place from 49-60. Currently sitting at 53 for today but reckon that will go higher. That 49 did worry me as I was convinced AF was on her way.

I need to make dinner but still full, just had chocolate birthday cake and had nandos in the park for lunch (OH birthday today). He has now gone out with his mates.

@Noble89 awww 😍 love the outfit!!

@zippityzip I've been told by the doctors it's best not to have a smear test when pregnant x

@Skip86 @Mococo1 @zippityzip good luck for your scans!! 🥰

@SmileyT we went to McDs yest and they were doing a reduced menu, I had my heart set on a bbq chicken legend and they didn't have it 😭

@2020mission I'm part of the short club at 5'2.5 💃

My OH keeps joking that we are having twins because the day after we got our BFP he was cooking eggs and got a double yolker 😱🍳🍳

Does anyone else have a sore tailbone??? I googled it and it's a thing but just feels so weird to me!! It's my biggest symptom apart from feeling tired and sore boobs!

Noble89 · 10/08/2020 20:37

@SmileyT eeep not long! How far will you be on Wednesday?

@Ltay2 I'm impressed you've managed to cook yourself a nutritious meal. I can't seem to eat an actual meal at the moment, it's all snacking on cereal or toast but fruit seems to be my friend this week so I'm at least getting something nutritious into me.

@Amy00 thank you 😊. It felt so nice to finally mark the occasion and buy something.

I'd have been gutted at McD's too. At the moment there's so very little I can think about eating if something strikes me that I actually want my poor OH gets sent out to find it as I can't bring myself to eat anything but that one thing.

Also, anyone suffering with nausea I discovered these kids smoothies today and I feel like they're magic. I've had constant low level nausea with it occasionally being quite bad since I found out at like 8DPO without any real respite but it seems to be ramping up this week and these smoothies eradicate it completely for a good half hour which feels like heaven to me.

Ltay2 · 10/08/2020 20:41

@Noble89 Oh don't worry I followed it up with some toast and Philadelphia as I was still hungry 😂 just making the most of it before any potential nausea kicks in! Feel sorry for you suffering with that too ❤️

I've joined the Springtime fb group today but it seems soooo overwhelming with the amount of members in the group so think I'll still to here for now!

Amy00 · 10/08/2020 20:57

@Ltay2 there's also a due in April fb group which has less people in it (although still 60 odd!) but think people are slightly closer in due date as the springtime one I think ranges from Feb - April! I've joined both of them but haven't posted much - I agree they are a bit overwhelming!

www.facebook.com/groups/1180030822374423/?ref=share

blodyn91 · 10/08/2020 21:06

Are the FB groups private? Im scared incase one of my friends will be on one as well 🙈
Also @Noble89 I just bought a babygrow and I blame you and your cute outfit 🙈 Basically bought a cute dress for my niece who is one on Sunday and needed free delivery so thought why not 🙊

SmileyT · 10/08/2020 21:18

Was bacon and cheese on toast for me tonight 🙈

@Amy00 so glad you said that about tail bone, I've got a bit of a dodgy hip that is a bit tight and be wondering why tail bone around it's been flaring up and I'm now putting it down to pregnancy symptoms 👌🏾

With the Facebook groups I agree I was hoping I'd join one with a few less people, I like the springtime ladies reading through stuff of people that are ahead of me, but I find it impossible to try and get to know people with over 100 in springtime ladies apart from you @Noble89 because I already knew your story (p.s twinning on the fruit front, I've actually just ordered some stuff for smoothies as that's what I fancy now, fruit and bread randomly 🤷🏾‍♀️). If anyone decides to make a slightly smaller FB group please let me know ☺️ also come say hi on FB, I'm the weirdo with the double barrelled surname x

@blodyn91 and yeah they are private and I checked the list on the group as soon as I joined to make sure there wasn't anyone I knew in there 😂

@SmileyT I might wait a few more weeks before joining. Or maybe we make a mumsnet FB group 🙊

mrsmummy1111 · 10/08/2020 21:52
@2020mission I'm 5"7!
Me too!

Ltay2 · 10/08/2020 22:07

@Amy00 Oh thanks I'll join that one too then decide which is best to follow!

@SmileyT @blodyn91 Maybe it would be good to wait a couple of weeks until we're all comfortable with it and then we could make our own little fb group to run alongside the bigger ones?!

mrsmummy1111 · 10/08/2020 22:30

@SmileyT and @Noble89 that's so weird as I'm really craving fruit as well! We always have a ton of fruit in the house as my little boy is a fruit addict (what kid isn't?!) but I have to admit, I'm a total fruit avoider normally. But recently I've been really fancying a nice cold apple from the fridge and when we went for a day out yesterday I took a bowl of strawberries in the car instead of my normal crisps and sweets snack. WHO AM I?

Maybe we should start our own fb group then? We don't need them 🤣 but we should all disclose our approximate location just in case any of us may in fact know each other IRL!

Skip86 · 11/08/2020 06:23

Girls I don't have any scan pictures to show you! 😭😭 Font worry nothing bad happened! It's all electronic and they will be visible on an online patient portal but not for a couple of days. If I'd known that beforehand I'd have taken a photo of the screen!
But all is A-ok. Measuring 10+3 (one day out from my calculations), only one in there (thank goodness), and all in the right spot. So happy days.
Had my harmony bloods taken too, so should get those results end of next week.

5"9 here! OH, my dad, and my brother are all 6"4-5, and even my sister is 6"2, so my kids are going to be talllllll!

If be happy to be on a FB group when everyone is ready 💗

LittleRa · 11/08/2020 06:28

Congratulations @Skip86 scan sounds great! I’ve got my midwife booking in appointment this morning. I slept soooo badly last night, anyone else struggling with this? I’m a teacher on summer holidays so it’s not too bad I can lie in a bit or catch up on a sneaky nap later in the day but I am dreading going back to school, I’m going to be soooo tired!!
Have a good day everyone!

SmileyT · 11/08/2020 07:15

@blodyn91 @Ltay2 @mrsmummy1111 yeah I'd be happy to join a smaller one in a few weeks when everyone is comfortable ☺️

Think we've done locations before but can't actually remember everyone's so I'll start with me living in North London ❤️

@Skip86 ahh I'm so glad everything went well, was worried when I checked first thing and you hadn't messaged yet. So exciting you got to see your little one and you'll know gender in a couple of weeks when you get your results🤞

@LittleRa you've done this before, so you'll know better than me but did the fatigue kinda pass in the 2nd trimester or is that an old wives tale? My friend is a teacher and said he feels like a NQT again as it's been so long since he's done a full day with full classes and so many changes due to COVID it's nerve wracking. Let us know how the midwife goes and if they give you any tricks to get time off work 👀

mrsmummy1111 · 11/08/2020 07:23

Congrats @Skip86 that's wonderful news! Just the one little peanut in there this time then 😊

I've got my scan this Sunday when I'll be 7+2. Almost wishing I'd booked it a little earlier tbh as I'm feeling incredibly inpatient and just want to know everything is going ok at the moment. Who else is still left to have their first scan? (Those or is having early scans anyway). I wonder if they'll be any twins in this thread!

@SmileyT Yes the fatigue definitely passes by 2nd trimester - or at least for me it did. I felt like a new woman the entire 2nd trimester! My hair and skin looked great, you're still at that new stage of pregnancy where you look pregnant, but you're small enough to not waddle or have to roll sideways off the bed just to get up. Plus my libido was sky high for reason (its normally pretty low) - DH wasn't complaining though.

Thanks for sharing location - I'm in SE London {waves}

zippityzip · 11/08/2020 07:23

@Skip86 Yay I'm so glad it all went well! So pleased. First trimester nearly done for you!

Well my scan is this evening and me and DH aren't even talking because yet again his mother has been a twat. But that's my fault obviously. So that'll be interesting.

mrsmummy1111 · 11/08/2020 07:23

*impatient, bloody autocorrect

mrsmummy1111 · 11/08/2020 07:24

@zippityzip FFS what's she done this time

zippityzip · 11/08/2020 07:33

@mrsmummy1111 I'm SE London too!!!

She had the kids for the day (she asked to, not doing me any favours). I wasn't happy about it but couldn't say no. I packed two bottles of sun cream. They've come back burnt. Like burnt burnt. Never have either of them been sunburnt in their lives.

But god forbid you say a bad word about his mother. It's gone on all night and this morning. And I just said - great well I look forward to an awkward evening on what was supposed to be an exciting event for our last ever baby because you can't be supportive of your wife. And had nothing but silence since. I'm really upset. I can't stand the fucking woman and once again we are arguing about her.
