Okay I'm still super nervous but time to take the plunge and started a Grad bus for the recent BFPs from the main thread. According to NHS calculator I'm due 18th March and it's #1 for me 😬

I finally got a call from the hospital and they have accepted me! I go in next week for my booking in and bloods/urine. Big relief. Now just need to worry about the scan next week and once we are past that hurdle I can almost begin to relax.

Bl0ndi3 · 06/08/2020 12:03

@zippityzip yay! That's great news!

zippityzip · 06/08/2020 12:07

@Bl0ndi3 She did say she pulled some strings so hopefully being overly nice and keeping my neuroticisms inside helped. I was ready to give hell tomorrow if I hadn't heard from them!

Bl0ndi3 · 06/08/2020 12:09

@zippityzip pays to be patience and kind even when you don't wanna be then eh 🥰 that's such good news I'm really happy for you that you got what you wanted and I imagine really needed x

Bl0ndi3 · 06/08/2020 12:09

Patient 👀*

Ltay2 · 06/08/2020 12:26

@zippityzip Yay that is good news!! How many weeks will you be next week for your scan?

zippityzip · 06/08/2020 12:40

Thanks @Bl0ndi3 that's so kind.

@Ltay2 According to LMP I should be 7+1 when I have my scan. I would have booked earlier but I couldn't face going and not seeing a heartbeat. Although I'm assuming my dates will change anyway when I have the scan. Just want everything to be ok - especially if I have to "untell" everyone.

Ltay2 · 06/08/2020 12:56

@zippityzip Oh I know what you mean! We're going to wait until 9 weeks so that all being well we can then tell OH's parents after the scan but it seems like soooooo long away. Can't really justify cost wise having another one earlier though.

Madz123 · 06/08/2020 13:30

Hey, nervously moving over here from the TTC threads as got my first positive on the 31st of July (so only just a July bus 😂) got 2-3 weeks on a clear blue digital today 😊 so nervous!

zippityzip · 06/08/2020 13:35

Welcome @Madz123 !

Ltay2 · 06/08/2020 13:38

@Madz123 Welcome! 💕

samilicious · 06/08/2020 13:46

Hey guy, joining this thread if that's ok (although just in August)

So sorry to read what's going on with you @Bl0ndi3 - really hope tomorrow comes round quick to give you the answers you need ❤️

mrsmummy1111 · 06/08/2020 13:52

Yayyyyyyyy @zippityzip ! Nagging works 🤣🤣🤣

mrsmummy1111 · 06/08/2020 13:53

Welcome @Madz123 and @samilicious and big congrats on the BFP's!

samilicious · 06/08/2020 14:08

@Bl0ndi3 not sure if this helps or just obvious stuff but when I started MC I had a big spree on fb and insta. Mark any ads you see as not relevant and they should stop coming through, and you can change your preferences on insta (if you have it) to exclude key words for some adverts. I also muted friends who were announcing and sharing baby pics so I didn't see stuff which really helped avoid constant reminders x

samilicious · 06/08/2020 14:09

Thank you @mrsmummy1111 😊

Bl0ndi3 · 06/08/2020 14:13

@samilicious thank you lovely I have already started doing that, unsubscribing from baby related stuff on emails, hiding ads as sensitive topics and unfollow people and groups on Facebook that are triggering but tbh I'm tempted to deactivate my Facebook for a little while because it's seeing babies too not just pregnancy's that's upsetting me atm

I've tried to get rid of anything that reminds me of being pregnant x

mrsmummy1111 · 06/08/2020 14:17

@Bl0ndi3 Totally not the same, but when we were TTC I actually deactivated my Instagram and Facebook as even strangers who I'd never met announcing births or pregnancies was just making me feel rotten. Don't be scared to feel, but try to stay positive until tomorrow - especially as the bleeding has slowed down today. Hope you're feeling ok ❤️

samilicious · 06/08/2020 14:25

@Bl0ndi3 maybe that's a good idea - just having a proper break, just in case something random triggers you. I know what you mean - babies and young children triggered me too

FairyLights2 · 06/08/2020 15:46

@Bl0ndi3 Really wishing you the best for tomorrow! x

Welcome and Congrats @Madz123 @samilicious

@zippityzip Wooooo hooooo! So happy you got the hospital you wanted. With all the uncertainty surrounding Covid-19, it's nice to have something that you want work out for you =)

Madz123 · 06/08/2020 16:24

@mrsmummy1111 @FairyLights2 thank you! 😊

SmileyT · 06/08/2020 17:04

@Skip86 this one finished just before you start your own houses Reno 😉

@Bl0ndi3 sounds like you've got the right attitude, after my MC in March I completely got rid of Instagram and Facebook as it was just upsetting me and tbh I haven't really returned and just replaced all that time with MN 🙈 will be thinking of you tomorrow. Hope you've got some time off of work? x

@Ltay2 I did 3 FRERs, about 7 cheapies and 2 CB weeks indicators as I'd read so much about chemical pregnancies I was panicked 😂 just do whatever is right for you, no judgement here if you test 20times or once, but just remember that CB is from ovulation and doesn't take cycle length into account so at 14-21dpo you'll be 2-3weeks on CB ☺️ I feel like first trimester is so long so good to have stuff to keep your mind occupied, I've got my next scan in 2weeks and can't bloody wait to check everything is okay x

@Amy00 just remember that the tests will kinda max out around 20dpo and then around 6weeks they can become lighter as there is too much hcg so don't panic if that happens if you keep using cheapies x

@zippityzip so happy you've got it sorted with the hospital lovely xx

Hi @Madz123 and @samilicious ❤️

Satisfied my urge to test until my CB arrive at the weekend. Never got a line on cheapies before so not got anything to compare to. Supposedly the bottom one is an 'early detection' at 10mlu and the top is regular at 25mlu although on the packet of the regular it said 'cut off 10mlu' so I don't know if that means it's 10 too? Maybe they've given me the wrong ones 🤦🏼‍♀️ either way both got good lines so I'm happy for now even with my cramps.

Thinking of you today @Bl0ndi3 xx

They look like some good lines you have there @Ltay2 🤗

For the most chilled out pregger, I am actually starting to feel quite anxious now about my scan next week. For my boys I had scans around 7-8 weeks but because of life getting in the way this will be 10 wks. Pretty close to my MMC time earlier this year. I'm sure everything will be fine but I still seem to have permanent butterflies in my tummy!

Have a lovely Friday ladies 💗

mrsmummy1111 · 07/08/2020 06:21

Best of luck today @Bl0ndi3 we're all thinking of you and hoping for the best xx
