Okay I'm still super nervous but time to take the plunge and started a Grad bus for the recent BFPs from the main thread. According to NHS calculator I'm due 18th March and it's #1 for me 😬

@Bl0ndi3 I'm so sorry you're going through this, I dont want to give you false hope but I'm really hoping that fridays blood tests show some sort of progression for you/the scan clarified things ☹️ some of us on here have been through it before so we're always here if you need some support XX

Cocoblue22 · 05/08/2020 11:07

@Bl0ndi3 so sorry you are going through this it's awful 💔 😢 glad you're OH is being supportive and looking after you. It is normal to feel like you do and cry then be okay then cry again. It's okay not to be okay. We are all here for you and rooting for you that it will work out. Be kind to yourself and take it easy and do whatever you need to to get through the next few days x

@Skip86 you could always wear your sexy dress pigeon suit with your mask to combat the fumes....if not open all the windows! You're like wonder woman doing the Reno whilst preg x

Skip86 · 05/08/2020 13:24

Oh @Bl0ndi3 my heart is absolutely breaking for you. I am so so sorry for what you are going through. It's not bloody fair. Please be kind to yourself, and I am glad to hear OH is being a good support 💗💗

@zippityzip I don't think your were on the ttc thread, where everyone got a blow by blow of my life! I'm in Australia and in the process of renovating a disgusting house. It's a 4 hour drive from our own house and I come here once a week for a few days. One of my worst jobs was clearing out the whole roof space which was entirely covered with a 15cm layer of pigeon shit 💩

@SmileyT the house we are selling! It's finally progressing well after I had a break for family holiday the other week.

@Cocoblue22 don't you worry babe, I get my sexy pigeon suit on all the time! Like today when I had to bag and bin 8 pigeon carcasses from behind an old extractor fan I pulled out 🤮 oh and one dead mouse.

Bl0ndi3 · 05/08/2020 19:16

Thanks for the kind word ladies means so much ♥️

Cocoblue22 · 05/08/2020 20:57

@Skip86 you are just so glam with your dead pigeons 🤮I honestly don't know how you do it you are literally superwoman! I would no way touch a dead pigeon! X

@Mococo1 hope you are doing well and feeling more relaxed x

@Bl0ndi3 I hope you are okay been thinking about you all day x

Bl0ndi3 · 05/08/2020 21:08

@Cocoblue22 ♥️♥️♥️ I'm averaging out at okay I guess.

Obviously because I've been googling everything to do with babies and pregnancy lately lol my Facebook ads and stuff are depressing me and I burst into tears at a baby wipes advert on tv earlier. My OH rang my dad and told him and they broke the local lockdown rules and came over immediately which was nice but emotional for me 🥺

Just need to get Friday over with so I can come to terms with whatever the outcome is and move forward 😞

I know we can and will just try again. But I don't want to have to 😭 I just want to still be pregnant not have to try all over again.

Ltay2 · 06/08/2020 08:07

I know some of you continued testing after you got your BFP with the clear blue weeks tests, did you find this helped you? I feel a bit in limbo until my first scan which we will do privately at 9 weeks and I'm worrying every day when I get cramps (which I know logically are normal) and looking for something to reassure me. I've got 4.5 weeks of worry ahead of me until the scan so don't know what to do to help!

mrsmummy1111 · 06/08/2020 08:40

Morning @Ltay2 - weirdly enough I just came on here to discuss the same thing.

On a scale of 1-loser, how loser am I. I knew I had one of these waiting at home, and we got back from a 2 week holiday late last night and I've been itching to get up and do it. Mainly for my own piece of mind, because it doesn't bear thinking about the idea of turning up at that scan and being told bad news. I'd almost rather know something was wrong so I could go to the scan without being totally blindsided. So I decided to test. Thankfully....I got my 3+. Which makes sense as I'm 5+6 today based on my LMP.

@Ltay2 In my head, if you think you can handle the result on the test if it wasn't what you were hoping for, then do the test. Some people feel like they'd rather let nature take its course and whatever is meant to be will be (which is generally my stance on it) but I knew the test was in the drawer and it was taunting me. Realistically, we know that they're not 100% accurate so even if you didn't get the weeks result you wanted it isn't necessarily bad news, it's just whether or not you want to take the "risk"?

zippityzip · 06/08/2020 08:50

@Ltay2 I did one and it said that I was a week behind. Although everyone here reassured me and google says that it goes from conception not LMP so I was actually bang on. Haven't done another one since as they are so expensive!!

Noble89 · 06/08/2020 09:01

@Bl0ndi3 I've just seen your update, I'm so sorry you're going through this. It's good your parents came over, mine did the same when I suffered my MC last year and it helps to have some TLC. Be kind to yourself and let OH take care of you. We're all here for you ❤️

@Ltay2 I did find them reassuring. I did frer at first to see progression and when I could I took a CB Digi and got 1-2 weeks, then 2-3 then 3+ right at the times I should have.

I found it really helped break up the waiting and ease my anxiety as I wasn't thinking about getting to the 12 week scan which feels so far away when you've just found out. I was setting little goals like seeing progression on my FRERs then getting a new result on the CB each week and it definitely helped for me x

Cocoblue22 · 06/08/2020 09:02

@Bl0ndi3 your OH did the right thing and your dad you need your family at a time like this. And it's totally normal to feel like you do of course you do you want this baby and it's awful what you are going through. My heart is breaking for you 💔 Has the bleeding stopped at all? Did you say the scan is Friday? X

Cocoblue22 · 06/08/2020 09:04

@Ltay2 I used the weeks tests and it helped me but one week I expected to see 3+ and only got 2-3 but then got 3+ a few days later so don't let that stress you (I actually think I'm four days behind my edd based on Lmp) x

Bl0ndi3 · 06/08/2020 09:29

@Cocoblue22 @Noble89 thank you so much ladies it means a lot that you are all so supportive. OH is doing a great job and being amazing but I do worry that he doesn't quite get why I just keep bursting into tears and sobbing so it's nice to have people who have been through it or can imagine how it would feel x

I'm trying to focus on what I'm gonna do once I feel better - get fit and healthy and lose weight ready for next time, I quit vaping when I got pregnant and I'm gonna try and not go back to it etc, but of course I need to get this scan tomorrow and repeat bloods to give me the confirmation I need to move on x

Ltay2 · 06/08/2020 09:29

Thanks Ladies! Think I will get a CB for next week and see what it says, likely 2-3 weeks I would think (will be 5wk on Sunday)? I think it would help me seeing the progression from 2-3 to 3+ regardless of how long that takes although they are sooo expensive that is the only downside for me!

Bl0ndi3 · 06/08/2020 09:30

@Cocoblue22 bleeding is much lighter today so far and yes my scan is tomorrow at 10am xx

Ltay2 · 06/08/2020 09:31

@Bl0ndi3 Thinking if you ❤️ focusing on what to do next for yourself is a good way to go if it is bad news (I really hope it isn't for you).

Bl0ndi3 · 06/08/2020 09:32

@Ltay2 in hindsight I never got passed 1-2 weeks on clear blue and I just put that down to them being inaccurate as they can be and didn't let it worry me too much. Now I think it might've been a sign that my HCG wasn't progressing. I think seeing a progression on those would be really helpful to reassure you but know that they can be inaccurate as I read lots about that where people went on to have a healthy pregnancy after only ever getting 1-2 or 2-3 etc xx do whatever you need to get reassurance I say.

Amy00 · 06/08/2020 09:40

@Ltay2 I've bought a pack of 2 digitals, planning on doing the first on Monday with the hope of seeing a 2-3. I'll be 5w+1 at that point. And then will wait another week and do the second hoping for the progression to 3+.

I'm also going to do my "final" frer on Saturday which I hope will be a really nice dark line at 20dpo. I've attached a pic of my last 2 frers. Wanted to do one this morning but OH said no stick to the plan!!!

This morning is the first morning I haven't peed on a cheapie test - still get excited/reassured by seeing that second line come up!!! But doing it every day means you don't really see obvious line progression so it isn't that valuable and I've only got 6 cheapies left so might save them!

Amy00 · 06/08/2020 09:44

@Bl0ndi3 I'm so sorry. I've also been thinking of you. Just remember how strong you are. Take the time to care for yourself today x

Ltay2 · 06/08/2020 09:50

@Amy00 I've just bought a 2 pack on Amazon! Hoping the first one will be 2-3 weeks and then I don't need to buy another. I'll be 5 weeks on Sunday so I'll do one then I think and then leave it a week or so for the next one.

Mococo1 · 06/08/2020 11:14

@Ltay2

I bought 5 digital tests (yes 5)- the first one I took showed 2-3 weeks after my FRER and then I took another a few days later (still 2-3) and then the day that after I got a 5+ weeks at (4w6d by my calculations) which was amazing reassurance as I felt overnight the pregnancy had halted.

Im generally paranoid/anxious due to prev mcs and have already had multiple scares so I have used the other two up as well now and I still have Some ICs at home but they only get to a certain darkness now! I still take one every now and again to reassure myself my hormone level isn't dropping🤣 so whatever you have to do to reassure yourself hun do it x

Mococo1 · 06/08/2020 11:15

@Bl0ndi3 think of you today..how are you? Has bleeding subsided? Xx

Bl0ndi3 · 06/08/2020 11:37

@Mococo1 still bleeding but I'd say it's really light now, so I've had 3 days of bleeding so far but the first two days were heavier and increasing amounts of clots along with painful cramps.

I'd be incredibly surprised if you can have so much bleeding with clots and cramps along with low HCG and still have a viable pregnancy. The waiting is just delaying the inevitable but this time tomorrow I'll know for sure.

Ltay2 · 06/08/2020 11:42

@Mococo1 I forgot I have some IC's too! I may use them to satisfy myself after CB. Too scared to use them yet as they didn't show up anything at all when I first tested, and then I got a strong line on FRER the following day so not sure how good they actually are. Don't want to use one now and then be more anxious if it doesn't show much!

zippityzip · 06/08/2020 11:53

@Bl0ndi3 I really hope you at least get certainty either way tomorrow. I'll be thinking of you. It's so shit I don't think I could bear it.
