Okay I'm still super nervous but time to take the plunge and started a Grad bus for the recent BFPs from the main thread. According to NHS calculator I'm due 18th March and it's #1 for me 😬

Spoke to EPU they said it sounds like miscarriage I am on my way there now to see a doctor and I'll have a scan tomorrow too.

I have to do it all by myself I fucking hate covid

@Bl0ndi3 that's awful you have to go alone is OH driving you there? How come they can't scan now? I really hope it isn't and that you're okay feel awful for you having to go through this x

@zippityzip hello 👋 sorry I have just been playing secret catch up and was annoyed you still didn't have an answer on the hosp situation so had to reply!(otherwise my notifications are turned off) I'm here still (bit calmer but with zero symptoms (apart from being tired and hungry in the morning)I had some bleeding/spotting over the weekend so not very positive but we'll see next week at my scan il get an answer x

@Mococo1 if it helps, I have had bits of spotting on and off for the last 5 weeks. Not lots, just every few days when I wipe. I don't really have symptoms either other than perhaps heavier feeling boobs. I felt a bit nauseous on two morning but that's it! But I'm definitely still 10 wks preg. Everyone will experience it differently, and lack of symptoms isn't necessarily a bad thing x

Meanwhile I'm off to paint ceilings today 😩 SUCH a shitty job and not looking forward to how my neck will feel at the end of the day. I googled 'paint fumes and pregnancy' and while it's probably not ideal, I am comfortable enough with the info I read to go ahead and do it! Can't be worst than pigeon shit fumes...

Middle of the night insomnia means I have time to catch up on the thread and oh my goodness @Bl0ndi3 I'm so so sorry! I echo what others have already said, bleeding in early pregnancy isn't always a sign of the worst, but I'm relieved your EPU are taking it seriously and checking you over. Goes without saying we're all rooting for you and here if you need to chat

@Mococo1 I'm glad you're doing ok. When is your scan? Mine is on Tuesday. Still no word from the hospital so will wait until Friday and give them a call again.

@Cocoblue22 with the scan at my clinic once you've had an early scan they have an option of a 'quick dating' scan, because yeah I'm guessing as they know that you need an internal and it's just measuring and a few pics it will take less time when fetus is a bit bigger as easier to locate x

Coming on here and seeing these messages made me cry. Thank you so much.

I had a good sleep, OH has been great with me really supportive and just letting me feel but also saying all the right things and I'm feeling mostly okay and then I burst into tears and then I'm okay again.

Took a test this morning and my wee was red in the pot which was terrifying and had me in tears again.

Managed to get some wee that wasn't red and test with that and there's obviously still a line but I think it's fainter than all the others and it's the same test I've been using throughout.

Had bloods taken at EPU and they're going to ring me with results this morning and depending on how high or low they are I'll have a scan today or in 48 hours they'll repeat bloods.

I just want confirmation of the inevitable now.
I've bled a fair bit and had lots of clots and I've been in a lot of pain with it so I don't think this is normal for pregnancy at all.

I also have what they think is a urine infection too I'll get those results today.

It is the worst pain I think I've ever felt emotionally.

@Skip86 Ugh I HATE painting ceilings too! We had polystyrene ceiling tiles on our house when we moved in. Absolute nightmare chipping them, and all the cement like glue, off and repainting.

@SmileyT I'm feeling ok today, boobs are still a little tender but I'm only noticing as I never normally get sore boobs! I get slight cramps every morning so always worried I'll have some spotting but nothing so far. OH is constantly asking how I'm feeling and announced he's done some of his own research into what to expect from me/pregnancy although he wouldn't disclose what he'd found out 😂 but it's nice that he's starting to prepare.

@Bl0ndi3 I'm so sorry you're going through this. It's just not fair. And the uncertainty must be awful, I just can't imagine.
I'm holding out hope for you with the blood tests results today.
I'm so glad your DH is supportive xxx

@zippityzip so ready for this hangover to pass, I actually feel like I need to take a week off sick from work just to rest, but don't have any time off until November 😩

@Ltay2 yeah I'm the same never get sore boobs so feels strange even though it's not that intense. Glad that OH is already planning, I feel like we have to take advantage of this first preg excitement they have 😂

Oh @Bl0ndi3 !!!!!! 💔 my heart is hurting for you this morning. No matter what happens, remember be kind to yourself. You couldn't have done anything differently. It's not over until the fat lady sings! Please have a restful morning and do whatever you can do distract yourself, and let us know when you hear back about your bloods. Blood results HCG level is 215 so have to wait now til Friday to have a scan and repeat bloods so I'm only going to hospital once - stupid covid.
