Can’t believe how tired I feel after certain tasks already. Just stood cooking and tidying up the kitchen, on my feet for two hours and have had to come sit down with a cup of tea and relax for a bit!!

Kj1010 · 24/07/2020 17:46

@peachypetite I'm the same done my bedroom and living room and feel drained had a bath now currently lying on sofa

ChampooPapi · 24/07/2020 19:26

Yes yes and YES on the physical tiredness creeping back in again, I'm with it mentally but my god after a busy ish day today when I was pushing my buggy home I was walking at a snail's pace!

I'm exhausted today too. This week has been really busy at work and although I work from home just now, it's really taken it out of me. I slept for an hour between 5pm and 6pm had dinner now I'm back in bed 🙈. So so tired today!

Pinktruffle · 24/07/2020 19:57

I've not been feeling too great today. I've been a bit breathless for the past 2 days - I'm guessing it's the baby mo oving up and squashing my lungs a bit more as this happened before about 4/5 weeks ago for a few days. I've also had a dicky stomach and keep needing the toilet, this coupled with more discharge than usual has me a bit worried though I know it's likely nothing as I've had increased in discharge before.

Kj1010 · 24/07/2020 20:00

@pinktruffle I've been the same with the breathless bit just come back from shopping and feel slightly out of breath

ChampooPapi · 24/07/2020 21:09

@Pinktruffle you just need to rest as much as possible lovely, I hope this weekend you can just flop 💤

PipTed · 24/07/2020 22:30

@Pinktruffle I keep getting increased discharge too!

And I’m knackered all the time with rib and back ache, it’s usually prominent after I’ve been particularly active. Found myself needing a sit/ lay down at least once a day.

Baby is going crazy these past few days - really kicking around and taking advantage of all the space. When I change positions in my sleep it wakes me up kicking me. So looks like we’ll have a rascal on our hands.

Pe4nutsmum · 25/07/2020 07:54

Morning ladies.

I'm the exact same exhaustion has came and hit me hard this week.
I feel like a could sleep for ever. Twice this week I've put myself to bed before my family.

Hope your all having a great weekend.
We were meant to fly to Mexico yesterday. Instead we no sat in a caravan in Scotland.
Don't get me wrong it is a fancy caravan but its no Mexico.

Sounds like we are all in this together ladies.

Last night I was being sick loads. I thought it may have shifted at 20 weeks but I am one of the unfortunate ones.

The aches and pains keep me up too. My stomach has been in bits. I honestly thought I would enjoy pregnancy as I have wanted a baby for so long. I even wanted a few kids but now my husband is like no more. We can’t have this again hahaha. Xxx

Hope you all get the rest you need and have a lovely relaxing weekend.
@Pe4nutsmum that looks super relaxing watching the waves 🥰

Beautiful 💕💕

peachypetite · 25/07/2020 09:11

Arghhhh I just can’t seem to sleep in even if I go to bed late. It’s so annoying. Only slept five hours last night. I don’t have much planned this weekend so I am going to clear out the nursery and box some more clothes up that I can’t wear and just try to get more organised before I run out of energy completely.

kkr168 · 25/07/2020 11:07

At 22+2 I don't think there's anymore hiding this bump, it's definitely popped.

Were off out sofa shopping today, so exciting, ours is over 10 years old, I cannot wait!!

Ps excuse my bedside table, we had tea & biscuits in bed last night, so rock & roll

PipTed · 25/07/2020 13:26

Yep I can’t sleep in either. Got up at 7:30 this morning. 🙈

PipTed · 25/07/2020 13:29

What is an acceptable amount to spend on newborn - first months clothes? I have £110 in my next basket and all are vest multi packs and sets of sleep suits, probably about 30 items in total 🙈 Ranging from first to three months in size. Am I getting carried away?

peachypetite · 25/07/2020 14:24

@PipTed that seems cheap for 30 items to me! Just be mindful next first size doesn’t even cover 8lbs so depending on baby’s size may not get much wear out of it?

peachypetite · 25/07/2020 14:26

Bought these this morning

danielasummer · 25/07/2020 16:41

@peachypetite I saw that too, it's so lovely!

For any FTM, I'd really recommend the Baby Academy course (here is the link mybabyacademy.co.uk/free-online-workshop/) it's a free online 2 hour course and my husband and I found it invaluable this morning. We're going to pay for the day course now too.

Has anyone looked at the Birth Ed Hypnobirthing course? I'm all about the courses right now haha!

PipTed · 25/07/2020 19:07

@peachypetite I know that’s what I was thinking. Don’t know whether to put baby in plain ones for the first few weeks and then just get nice patterned ones for when I’m more likely to venture out and baby can wear for longer. I have those apple and rainbow ones in my basket, there’s some lovely stuff. Decided I’m going to leave it a little as I’m going shopping with my mum next week and she’ll no doubt want to buy lots, too.

PipTed · 25/07/2020 19:09

@danielasummer we did that course today, too! We found it so helpful and we’re doing the full course in October. Although I thought I was quite clued up watching my friends with their babies, it shocked me that some don’t follow the recommended advice, maybe they don’t know, so definitely worth just doing the intro to learn best methods!

confused107 · 25/07/2020 19:25

Thank you @danielasummer we will check out that course. Also signed up for a NCT course in October as we know nothing. Neither of us has ever even changed a nappy!

peachypetite · 25/07/2020 19:42

My cousin recommended the positive birth company’s hypnobirthing course. Will deffo do nearer the time.

roro87 · 25/07/2020 20:06

@Pinktruffle I've had all those over the last few days too. I think it must be just the movement and pregnancy progressing. reassuring to know others are the same

Hanrora06 · 25/07/2020 22:26

I have thought about that free online course! We're signed up to NCT also so I'm not sure we need both... but then I guess you can't have too much info? I'll discuss with my husband and see what he thinks. August 8th would be after the 20 week scan so could work.

I'm definitely interested in hypnobirthing! I know it's not quite the same but I also keep meaning to get back into yoga and practicing regularly... I'm sure the breathing and stretching and focus will all come in pretty handy but I just can't get back into my routine!! I have no discipline when I don't actual go to classes in 'real life'...
