Welcome @Oli2020 that those sound scary I hate when they run in and out.
In my experience (I was having twins and lost one) I found that if anything is wrong they do tell you - so I would think they are just being cautious bringing you in extra and just giving you and baby that extra care to make sure everything is ok.
The feral medicine departments are usually brilliant and want to just do everything they can for mum and baby.
Sending love 🥰

*does sound scary

nearlyamummyof2boys · 18/07/2020 10:29

If you have any worries maybe see if you can phone your midwife (if you get through to them!) and ask if she knows why you are being called in
🥰

This is the suit my daughter has, it is so waterproof you could submerge the child and she'd still be dry. They are incredible for toddlers!

@peachypetite that yellow duck sleep-suit is all over eBay, there are literally hundreds of that particular print on there. I have three of them myself!

There will be cheaper ones too obviously, they were just on the first page of like 10 pages 👍

Beware... You may bid on many and end up spending much more than you thought 😆

@nearlyamummyof2boys Thank you so much for your reply❤️ I had my midwife appointment yesterday morning and she said she could just be petite, to try and not worry myself until the next scan as she may of been measured wrong and that she will come with me to my scan in 2 weeks, but then I got the text in the afternoon for the foetal medicine appointment and thought maybe they are worried as they are not just waiting the 2 weeks for my next scan. i think it's because I don't know anyone that has ever had this in their pregnancy/scans that I'm so worried about her head being small and not developing properly. Xx

Welcome @Oli2020 and congratulations on your little one. It is a worry for you and confusing too. The next two weeks will go by pretty fast, but it will of course be on your mind so much so stay around here and there will be plenty of distractions on this thread as well as support

@Oli2020 welcome. This thread is a wonderful support and great to see what others are buying! Maybe it would help to make you feel better by writing down all your questions so that when you speak to someone you don’t forget/have a mind blank. Thanks @ChampooPapi!

nearlyamummyof2boys · 18/07/2020 11:29

Such good advice @peachypetite I mind blank every time I speak to someone!

peachypetite · 18/07/2020 11:37

@nearlyamummyof2boys I know. Also I took notes during my last midwife appt (phone call - 16 weeks) and I’ve referred to them quite a few times already.

nearlyamummyof2boys · 18/07/2020 11:43

I've just seen another great video and review about Etta blankets and play mats so I will definitely he getting some of them! 🥰🥰

peachypetite · 18/07/2020 12:24

@nearlyamummyof2boys I ordered the sensory muslins, well should I say pre-ordered, as there seems a bit of a wait!

Snowwhite2020 · 18/07/2020 15:06

Hi everyone, lots of good tips on the thread this week. Will need to get ordering! Not sure if anyone else is getting this but I had a good week where I felt as well as I have since pregnant then last night just felt awful- really dizzy and sick and sore head then slept a lot over night and woke up better but still feeling pretty ill and then back in bed this afternoon... growth spurts? Not so nice for mummies :/ xx

confused107 · 18/07/2020 16:59

omg, as if I'd never heard of jojomaman! I want everything. That duck splash suit is the cutest thing I've ever seen. Such lovely stuff!

ChampooPapi · 18/07/2020 17:09

@confused107 I know right, I'm like golem with the ring when it come to JoJo sleep-suits. They are EVERYTHING 😆🥰

@ Snowwhite2020 sorry your feeling like poo, pregnancy does this so rest assured it's normal. I still have very shaky days, dizzy, weak, Sicky feeling, generally pathetic times, then a great week. It's very normal, but incredibly crap. Bring on the babies 🙏

(though obviously not soon, like in twenty weeks 😏 )

mybabyacademy.co.uk/thanks-for-registering-for-25th-july-10am-12pm/

I just come across this online class with midwifes. It’s free. I thought it could be useful for me as it’s my first baby. Also something to do during this boring days xx

Kpm7 · 18/07/2020 21:44

@PipTed I feel so silly. I didn’t even know sleeping on your back was a bad thing or am I reading wrong. lol.

Sounds like from this thread it’s not recommended. I will defo do some reading on this !

@Hanrora06 I can relate to the top of the bum bottom of the back pain. I had that really bad although not as much now.

I now get pains really bad in my left side like ribs round to my back. It’s unbearable sometimes.

Not sure if anyone has had this. I even had a pregnancy massage yesterday but it didn’t help. Only relaxed me a little. Xx

Oli2020 · 18/07/2020 21:58
