My last period was 1st June. I am now 3/4 days late. Done a few tests negative. This morning, took my daughter to school, picked up cheap pregnancy tests from the corner shop, went home, peed on it (second maybe third pee of the day but I hadn't had a drink) I thought there was a very faint positive. I then noticed scratches on the screen so took the test apart and saw the faint positive clearer but then read you shouldn't take them apart. Waited an hour or so later till I needed a pee again, again not drinking, faint line came up straight away. Again very very faint though but it is visible. Came to work and picked up another test from a different store, peed on that one and it's negative. Dodgy tests? I don't know what to think. I've been feeling sick for 2 weeks ish. Stabbing pains in the very top of vagina/pelvic area. Also had slight niggly feelings in my right ovary. Any advice please

The ones I used (superdrug own brand, if I remember rightly) said to use the first wee of the day if possible, to get that higher concentration of the chemicals if they're there, so maybe try tomorrow morning and see how it looks then? Frustrating/stressful to wait, I know, but it might give a more definitive result that will then reassure you?

I had my last period start on the 31st May, and got my first faint positive on Sunday morning. They’ve been getting stronger ever since but I make sure I use the same brand every day. If I were you, I’d order some FRER from Amazon prime to be delivered today, save your FMU from tomorrow morning and then test when they arrive. Good luck!

Thank you. Yeah part of me is wondering that by the time I peed for a third time, which I had to literally squeeze out that the hcg wasn't high enough at that point. But then at the same time, if I'm 16 dpo and pregnant, surely by now I would have a strong positive result, and not really faint ones which then makes me wonder if the tests this morning were doggy ones. Which sadly I've experienced before

Ah so your last period was just a day before mine then. Thing is, I'm 3 days late, surely it wouldn't be so faint if I was pregnant

Mine aren’t super dark to be honest, I looked back at a picture of my test from my first baby at 16dpo and it’s the same, and all fine with that one, so fingers crossed for us both!

Hiya the first day of my last period was 28th May , all my tests have been negative ( clear blue saying not pregnant) then I did the one attached this morning - I don’t know if that’s a positive or wishful thinking! For a week now I’ve been so tired and nauseous until lunch time , I can’t touch tea or chocolate they taste funny. I’m in meetings all day today but going to pop out later and get a first response test as I heard they’re the most sensitive . @Justme1235 I total get the not knowing it’s freaking me out! I lost twins at 18weeks last year and can’t bring myself to get excited as I’m scared of history

I can't see the test line on yours, there is a second line but I think that's just part of the test. I think the tests I did yesterday must have been faulty. 2 negatives since.

I’m just going to get the first response , if that shows negative I don’t know what I’ll do . I’m currently sitting on my bathroom floor working off my laptop cos I feel so sick I don’t want to leave here!! , do you feel different?

Yeah I've felt sick for about 2 weeks now, not been sick just feel it. The bottom of stomach right above my privates feel heavy. I just feel off. I felt like this in November and could have sworn blind I was pregnant, bled a week late, had a blood test and apparently I wasn't ever pregnant, since then I've had issues with my periods and irregular bleeding. I feel the same now as I did in November. I must have just bought dodgy tests. There is a line on the one I did this morning but its so very faint, only found it by examining it, I think that's just the line that's already there ready to pick up the hcg if that makes sense

I don't know if it's worth me getting an early response or just holding on to top. Surely if I was pregnant I'd have a positive result, I'm 4 days late

@justme123 that line on the test you posted looks like an Evap to me as it doesn’t have any colour. I’d maybe hold out until the weekend and get some FRER’s ordered so they’ll be in the cupboard if you get your period before they arrive. Good luck!

My periods are always regular 28days never been late n now I’m a week late with negative results I think if I was pregnant it shld show by now . Not liking this feeling at all Sad

He second line appeared straight away and is visible on an invert photo. It's probably safe to say that I'm not. I'm now 4 days late so if I was pregnant I'd be 4 weeks and surely id be having definite positives if I was?

It's horrible isn't it. As I said this happened to me in November. My periods have been strange since then. I don't know what to think anymore.

I've just done an early response, even though I'm 4 days late. Negative... So I'm 💯 not pregnant. Stomach feeling very bloated in the pelvic area, must be period coming.

Are you ok? I’m in a meeting then going to get a FR and try and hold out till the morning before I do it . My sister popped in earlier and made me a tea while I’m working thought I was going to throw up but had to drink it so she didn’t suspect anything !

Yeah I'm OK, used to it now. Does my head in. I think I'm going to go back on the pill and give up.partner wants another baby but barely has sex with me, so it's pointless. Least if I was on the pill it would regulate my period and stop me going through this all the time. I know deep down I'm not pregnant because we don't have sex often enough, once a week at the best. Ridiculous. I hope you get the result you want. How are you feeling now? X

Aww u sound so down , I don’t feel any better . I’ll do my test in the morning and hope it’s positive or I might Jst go to the nearest nut house and section myself!
Does ur partner know what you’re going through or have I kept it to yourself?

Hello! First time writing on a group here, I’ve been stalking for a while😂 We’re 8 months in to TTC (on and off really, so maybe 4 months of actually trying at the right time) I’m currently 4 day’s late and all tests are negative. I did 2 yesterday 🙈
My period is normally like clock work and I always feel AF coming on a day or 2 before. I feel nothing! I called my GP and she said it’s actually quite normal for pregnancy tests to read negative in early pregnancy as the HCG hormone levels can be too low to detect. Apparently the egg can take 10 days to implant so that can happen right up to a couple of days before your expected period. She even said wait 10 days (!!) and try again for an accurate result, but I’ll prob test again tomorrow, not testing today! Thought that info from my GP might help some of you X
