@nearlyamummyof3 - lovely name choice :-)

Today I sat out in the garden in a vest. It was cloudy and really not that warm. I got sunburn anyway. Then I learned by Googling that pregnancy makes you more sensitive to the sun.
Facepalm.
Factor 30+ every time I leave the house from now on.

Has anyone been having like an achy feeling along there pubic line? I’m hoping it’s just the growing, I know all looked well at the gender scan but until I feel kicks for certain I can’t help but worry x

Kj1010 · 22/06/2020 08:58

So yesterday I ate quite alot from sweets naughty I know to a bacon sandwich jam on toast cereal and then some noodles from Chinese woke up in middle of night bad belly ache with it still there this morning well never been so relieved to go to the toilet I know sorry tmi but feel great now is anyone else having some of there symptoms come n go like my boobs ain't that sore I've noticed just every now n then nipples hurt the only thing that makes me feel pregnant still is the hunger and the tiredness I mean the tiredness hasn't really subsided at all from first trimester I dont really have any energy but working at 5.30 am till 8am then sleeping half day ain't good either I'm thinking of booking a scan in next week or 2 currently 15 weeks 1day even though I be nervous as hell lol

roro87 · 22/06/2020 09:17

@Babyhope98 yes I have been feeling pains along there quite a lot im assuming all is okay with the baby I figure the baby is moving up a bit and that has to be felt somewhere. Although maybe I should be concerned about it

Babyhope98 · 22/06/2020 09:21

Well if we are both getting it that is reassuring ☺️ @roro87

lc86 · 22/06/2020 09:27

Same here, I just can't wait to start feeling movement now so I know all is ok in there and won't have to worry about every little pain xx

Awkes · 22/06/2020 09:35

I’ve had it too. Sort of like period pain almost but goes right across my lower belly. I’ve been poking the belly and it’s solid where the pain is so I wonder whether it’s the baby poking it’s bum up that side or something. Not felt any movement still 😞

MummyShark97 · 22/06/2020 09:52

I've had these pains too! It's really hard isn't it, before my scan on Saturday I was honestly thinking what if there is no heartbeat and when she turned the screen on baby was just still and I really tensed up for a second until I saw the heart flashing. Our babies become so precious instantly don't they.

Babyhope98 · 22/06/2020 10:33

@roro87 so precious x

RestorationInsanity · 22/06/2020 10:36

I've had so many weird aches, pains, twinges, sensations. It's so anxiety inducing isn't it? Yesterday I had this weird feeling all day like a sort of throbbing pressure in my groin but it's gone today. Perhaps naively I'm clinging to "I'm in my second trimester, I've had no bleeding, and I would describe all sensations as discomfort rather than actual pain". Can't believe there's still almost 24 weeks of this stress to go, I feel like I'm on the edge already!

nearlyamummyof2boys · 22/06/2020 10:57

@Kj1010 I totally know what you mean. If I need the loo then I really need the loo ASAP! 🙈

I have burst of energy where I feel like I need to start getting loads done as nothing is done and then I totally crash after that!
Baby is teething at night terrible poor thing if anyone has any night remedies! So add that to the weirdest vividest dreams ever! Is anyone else having strange sleep?

confused107 · 22/06/2020 10:57

Morning all I hope you all had a lovely weekend

After a weekend of worry and googling I'm entering this new week with a new positive mental attitude. I have a 98% chance thar everything is ok, so until the NIPT results are in I'm going to try (though it's hard) and push it to the back of my mind. I met a friend this weekend who has had cancer treatment and she told me she had never been given such good odds. I think being pregnant, especially in lockdown is so tough. Everything is such a worry, especially for someone who is normally fairly anxious. Deep breaths!

I suddenly have developed a bit of a bump (17 weeks this week) so I'm starting to feel pregnant. Still no movement though. How's everyone getting on with eating. The sickness has stoped but I still get waves of nausea and I'm struggling to eat, just no appetite. Anyone the same?

Kj1010 · 22/06/2020 11:04

@nearlyamummyof2boys yes in deed with the toilet lol I wished I had bursts of energy I have to get things done while knackered dont get much help 🙄@confused107 fingers crossed all comes back positive yes I struggle with appetite I remember when I was last pregnant I'd eat anything and everything this time I'm more conscious bout not over eating but most 9f the time dont have much of a appetite even though the belly tells me its hungry

nearlyamummyof2boys · 22/06/2020 11:08

Hey @confused107 it is all a worry so well done on having a positive outlook ❤️
I'm 19 weeks almost and no movement - I find I'm starving in the mornings and zero appetite after 5pm. 😊😊

Awkes · 22/06/2020 11:09

Great way of thinking @confused107 I don’t think women are properly informed about the screening tests tbh and we have so much worry already. I’ll keep my fingers crossed your nipt results are good news 🤞🏻

So think I might have felt the baby move but honestly not sure. Hoping one of you can tell me 😂 had a big sneeze and then I felt like pops but the sensation was sort of like when you go over a big hill in the car and your stomach drops. My body does weird stuff all the time now so I can say it’s nothing I’ve ever felt before but that doesn’t really mean anything currently. I’m waiting to see if it happens again but nothing so far. What do you all think? Was that it?

roro87 · 22/06/2020 11:41

@nearlyamummyof2boys I am the exact same with my appetite my main calorie intake is between when I wake up in maybe 3 in the afternoon after that I only pick. I'm not trying to be insensitive saying this and hope I don't upset anyone but I'm a bit concerned I've lost weight since my 12 week scan weight and I'm worried they will bring it up at my appointment. I have a bump (I will post a pic later) and I am eating but I have gone down 2kg.

confused107 · 22/06/2020 11:56

Glad it's not just me struggling with appetite. I'm lighter than when I fell pregnant and still fit in my looser normal jeans, though sometimes I have to unbutton them as the day goes on. I'm going to try and eat better this week, I just want small, bland meals and normally eat so much better than this. I think my bump is 98% salt and vinegar crisps to be honest!

Pinktruffle · 22/06/2020 12:06

@Awkes I've been having that same feeling for a couple of weeks now, it almost feels like a rolling in your stomach? I dont get it everyday but I'm convinced it's the baby moving. It's usually in the evening when I settle down in bed or in the morning which is the time the baby is most likely to be up.

I'm quite hungry in the mornings and afternoon but after about 6 my appetite has gone completely @nearlymummyof2. Yesterday I had a bowl of cereal as my evening meal - but I did have a massive lunch.

Pinktruffle · 22/06/2020 12:10

@RestorationInsanity I don't think that is naive at all and I am taking the same mindset, it's the only way I can keep my anxiety in check. Plus when I've been to the EPU that's all they told me to look out for extreme cramping pain that doesn't go away with paracetamol or bleeding so I'm taking that as the point when I worry.

Awkes · 22/06/2020 12:22

@pinktruffle yes seems like same thing. It’s the first time I’ve felt it. Not happened again yet but I’ll see this evening. I hope it is! Feel like I’ve been waiting forever for this and now I’m not even sure it is what I think it is 🤦🏻‍♀️

I’m trying not to worry with all the aches and pains as they say it’s normal. I think unless it’s really awful pain or you bleed you’re alright but it is still a constant worry. Pregnancy is such a whirlwind. I’ve always thought my mother was a bit insane and now I’m starting to think i understand why.

Kj1010 · 22/06/2020 12:36

When I had my miscarriage I had light spotting followed by cramps quite quickly like labour pains in the beginning is all I can explain any pain I get now I worry yes as I'm a natural worrier but also calmer as it's not like what I had b4

Dee96 · 22/06/2020 12:51

My baby wont seem to stay still! Shes a little wriggler that's for sure. Every night she becomes so active, I've even felt two massive kicks that stopped me in my tracks. Today shes been rolling like crazy constant gushing feelings and jabs. I'm not complaining but I'm starting to wonder if I'm abit further along than dated because everyone else around the same mark as me only seems to be getting the odd occasional movement.

ChampooPapi · 22/06/2020 13:15

@roro87 it really is a worry for you I can see that and I totally understand. My own mother was very slight and the whole of the 1st and second trimester didn't gain any weight to speak of. It is very normal though, especially as from the afternoon your stomach capacity is so small, you've eaten enough for the day basically by then which is very text book I can't tell you. I'm the same, I eat fruit and yogurt for dinner, but I was a bigger starting weight and I've had two other children so my body just balloons!. We all need our 20 week scans now don't we! Two weeks till mine, but a haircut the day before has been secured 🙌🙏
