Oooh so exciting @Countrygirlmummy
My sonographer was lovely! He talked me through everything and kept telling baby off for running away from him 😂

Floulou20 · 15/09/2020 12:21

@Pol96 I keep trying! But I never seem to catch it 🙈 my phone is full of videos of my belly 🤣

😂 I'm so glad I'm not the only one @Floulou20 I've taken so many videos, some of them have absolutely nothing on them and others have some huge kicks!
I think im now starting to let myself get excited about it all.. Ordered my next to me crib yesterday, ordering the travel system tonight.. I definitely think feeling him move every day helps!

@Pol96 your deffo not the only one don't worry haha!
Aw that's lovely me too! I feel the same, my anxiety has eased so much now I can feel him moving everyday.
Oh fab we've just ordered ours too and a few bits and bobs of clothes and things. What have you gone for? There's so many out there it's hard to choose 🙈

Pol96 · 15/09/2020 15:21

@Floulou20 it helps so much with the anxiety! We've gone for the maxi cosi iora next to me crib and I think we're getting the Ocarro bundle (after a lot of looking!) What about you?
I've got a few small bits already too (clothes, blankets etc) x

Floulou20 · 15/09/2020 18:40

@Pol96 oh lovely I love the look of the ocarro!
We ended up ordering the tutti bambini cozee next to me and then icandy peach for the travel system. So excited to get them 😁 x

Hi everyone I hope everyone is well, just realised I haven’t been on here since September!! Where is the time going? I’m 30 weeks next week 😱 we have bought our pushchair, we got the Nuna Mixx Next, god that wasn’t a straight forward item to choose! So many options!!! We’ve got a Moses basket for little one, our house is progressing nicely and we are just about at the point we can start to get the nursery ready, eeeek, I still find it’s not fully sunk in although he’s definitely reminding me with big kicks that he’s cooking nicely 😂 xx

Hello country girl, I'm 31 weeks now but measuring 32 weeks. Have organised through the bags and boxes we put away from having 2 girls already for our 3rd girl due 18th Jan. Only thing left to organise is the double pram which is coming next week. The lovely Hauck Duett. Very excited. And newborn nappies. Whoop whoop chicken soup! The end is in sight

Anyone else preparing any birth plans or just going with the flow?????

Hi ladies! Long time since we've posted in here!
I'm almost 31 weeks now, apart from packing my hospital bag I think I'm all ready! I need to continue washing all his clothes but the stuff for his hospital bag is all packed and ready to go. I'm getting super impatient and quite uncomfortable now! Can't wait to meet my little boy 💙

As for a birth plan, I think im going to do a kind of preference list but I'm very aware that things might not go to plan.. The unit I would have been giving birth in is now a covid ward so..

Hiya ladies! Hope your well
I'm 33 weeks now can't believe how fast it's gone by! Getting quite uncomfortable on a night now too
We are almost ready I've nearly finished packing my hospital bag just a few bits to pop in last minute, baby's hospital bag is all done 😊
I've done a little bit of a birth plan, more like little notes of what I would like to happen. Discussing that with my midwife at my 36 week appointment 😁
Can't believe we are all nearly there now, how exciting! I'm so excited to meet him I keep wondering what he will look like/if he will have lots of hair etc 🥰

@Floulou20 congratulations!!! Aww little Charlie, how sweet 😍 how are you doing? May I ask why it went to emergency c-section? Merry Christmas to everyone on here too!! I’m almost 36 weeks 😬 the time is flying xx

@Countrygirlmummy thankyou ☺️ I'm doing really well thankyou! Still quite sore but keeping on top of pain meds!
I woke up with quite heavy bleeding on the morning of Christmas Eve so I went to triage they got me in for a scan and found out I had something called vasa previa where the cords blood vessels were trapped underneath his head quite close to the cervix so they wanted to deliver him by c section that day was all a bit crazy! But the care I received was amazing really happy with everything 😁
Oh wow so close now, how are you feeling? X

Pol96 · 29/12/2020 11:24
