Hello,

About a week or two after ovulation I had a vivid nightmare and the last time I had a nightmare I was pregnant so I said to my husband oh I must be pregnant and we laughed it off...

I'm seven weeks pregnant on Saturday haha

What's your weirdest "I'm pregnant" thought?

Like several people really sore boobs. I mentioned it to DH that they hurt and there was a lightbulb moment...I went and bought a test.

Wasn’t expecting to be pg so didn’t know how much. Bought a clearblue and it said 5+ so that wasn’t helpful. Turns out I was nearly 10 weeks and that had been my only symptom!

Aw this thread has made me smile. I also had the veiny boobs, I’d read somewhere that they could be a symptom but it was actually DH who mentioned it. I thought he was pulling my leg and told him to stop winding me up as he knew how much I wanted the BFP (he did too, but I was the one getting obsessed!) - and he didn’t know what I was on about! Second time... can’t remember. Late period and FRER, I think.

Totally went off cups of tea. Tasty like drinking rusty water.

Unheard of for me as am a major tea drinker!

The first thing for me was this weird off feeling. I still can't quite explain what it was, I felt totally fine physically but couldn't shake this feeling that something wasn't normal. My period was "late" but has always been irregular and it was only a day or two off of the average so I wasn't worried about it. I ended up taking the test just to rule it out because I couldn't figure out what was bothering me, OH was sitting there the whole time talking about how I'd been stressed from work and the math didn't work out so there was no way I could be pregnant. The way the color drained out of his face when I handed him the test was hilarious in hindsight.

I turned over in bed, before my period was due and had a pain in my breasts that felt strange. I usually have sore breasts before my period but this was different.

A dry mouth that no amount of drinking water would improve. Ice craving, raging hunger like a wild animal and falling asleep everywhere.

Food cravings for things I don't normally eat.

TorchesTorches · 05/06/2020 05:16

Very immediate (within 2 hours of conception) vomiting and diarrhoea, which lasted about 30 mins then was completely gone. I knew that was strange as I hadn't eaten anything to justify that reaction. I think my body was just expelling everything. Also I was in Spain on holiday, had happily eaten the food there all week, but with becoming pregnant, couldn't eat Spanish food all pregnancy, and then for about 3 years! Violently went off it!

Not fancying any of the food or drink at a really posh restaurant on a friend's hen night, which otherwise would have been my idea of heaven. I did the test when I got home that night.
