Hey everyone!!! I know I’m super early as I’m 12dpo but I’ve finally had my “pregnant” on clear blue digital and I’m over the moon. I’ve been trying to tell myself not to get tooo excited as I had a chemical pregnancy in March but, too late haha. I’m so excited and happy! May as well be positive about it..

Anyone else just found out they’re pregnant and due in February 2021? The NHS due date calculator puts at the 3rd February. What’s your symptoms been so far ?

Xx

Hi all, how is everyone feeling today?
I got a bit scared yesterday as I didn't feel very sick but it's just hit me with a bang again - who'd have thought you'd ever want to feel sick!
Also worried as my office has announced that we'll be opening again from the 15th June and I'm public facing. Really don't want to go back but don't want to tell them why. I know it'll probably be fine but I am older and I am fat so I just want to do everything I can to protect this pregnancy.
I've booked a video chat with my doctor on Thursday so hopefully she can put my mind at rest. Do any of you find yourselves isolating even more now that you know?

lma00015 · 01/06/2020 14:42

Hey ladies, can I join?

I got my BFP last Sunday at 12DPO. I think I am 4 +5 weeks, due around the 3rd of February! I'm so super excited that we are having our rainbow baby!

@ambs1994 sorry to hear of your miscarriage. I hope you can rest this week x

howlatthetrees · 01/06/2020 14:52

Sorry to hear you got AF @ambs1994❤️

I’m starting to feel really nauseous, and tired.

Harper04 · 01/06/2020 21:47

Congratulations to everyone with BFPS! On thread 2 there is a link to a fb group which is fab. But I also like to chat on here Grin

@ambs1994 so sorry AF showed. Sending baby dust for next month!

How is everyone coping in this heat? It’s making me feel extra tired I think! If I didn’t have a crazy toddler I would definitely be napping most of the day haha!

My due date is 12th January, I have had the worst sickness and nausea since week 5, we lost one at 9 weeks at Christmas so am scared but trying to be super positive about this rainbow. The constant sickness is apparently a good sign though, we have booked an early scan for Wednesday to check everything is okay this time, xxx

butterfly0701 · 01/06/2020 21:53

Also congratulations to everyone on their pregnancies, I'm finding it really lonely not being able to tell anyone and being so sick, has anyone else felt the same? Xx

howlatthetrees · 01/06/2020 22:03

I haven’t got FB so will have to chat here! But I’m struggling a lot in the heat, I’m getting really irritable!.

I want to tell my family, but I know it’s a bit taboo to tell everyone so early. I just want to be able to share the excitement!

ambs1994 · 02/06/2020 07:12

So I had a bleed yesterday and was pretty normal for me, I had a lot of painful cramps for about 3-4 hours and I'm not experiencing any pain or bleeding so much. I did a test just to make sure that I wasn't pregnant, but my friend said she could still see something.
I've attached it, and would like to see someone elses opinion. I dont think theres anything there personally and it's totally fine if theres not.

Thanks everyone for their lovely comments previously.

Hi everyone! Hope you dont mind me joining the chat! Had a postive test last week woooo after trying for 3 years but then the morning sickness hit the next day! It's been manageable untill last night and now I feel like crap no energy no appetite I just want to cry and sleep (and throw up properly not dry heave!) But I feel bad for moaning as we have waited so long! Sorry to be so depressing before 9am just think I needed a rant! EDD is around 1st feb too!! X

Harper04 · 02/06/2020 08:09

@butterfly0701 I had quite back sickness with my last pregnancy, I’m only 5 weeks and feel fine. I’m hoping it won’t be as bad this time! I just found always having a little snack with me at all times would slightly help the nausea!

@howlatthetrees I’m the same!! It’s been so hard not to say anything, especially when you feel like rubbish! When do you think you’ll tell people? I had to buy a fan yesterday for the bedroom, the heat is awful! Helped a little.

@ambs1994 If the bleeding has stopped then maybe it isn’t AF? have you rang the gp? They will refer you to the EPU and can do some bloods?

@Jess1han congratulations on your BFP!! Ohh bless you, it is awful 😥 I hope it eases for you over the next few weeks! I found sour sweets helped, the sourness distracted me from feeling sick. There’s a brand called peggie preggo drops. This heat isn’t helping either, it’s making me feel extra tired and sluggish!

@Harper04 thank you!! Just ordered a tin il give anything a go! The OH has set up a fan in the bedroom before he left for work too so I'm having a lazy day!

@howlatthetrees I'm the same me and the OH have both told 1 close friend as we couldn't keep it in! Iv booked for an early scan in 2 weeks I should be around 8 weeks by then so hoping to tell family the week after!

Bettysoreboobs · 02/06/2020 10:14

Hi, I’m going to jump on board too. I’m think I’ll be 5 weeks tomorrow. I’ve booked my midwife appointment for next Thursday. I see on here some people saying they have to wait until 7 weeks but they didn’t even ask me how far along I was? I’m in Liverpool so I don’t know if it’s different

Bettysoreboobs · 02/06/2020 10:18

Anywho, I’ve been having the same symptoms as everyone else I think; very tired, very thirsty, crampy . I‘m a bit concerned that other people are having nausea already and I don’t really feel it yet. I was actually hoping for it this morning. Hopefully I’ll come to regret that. Nice to meet you all, I just spent a good amount of time catching up with the thread xx

Harper04 · 02/06/2020 10:38

@Jess1han I hope they work for you! I’ve got some on the way too. Don’t blame you having a lazy day, this heat is unbearable!

@bettysoreboobs congrats on your BFP! My GP was a bit disappointing in Wales, told me to ring back at 7 weeks I was like oh ok 😂 My symptoms are really on and off but tiredness is killing me the last few days, probably the heat isn’t helping though! Xx

Jess1han · 02/06/2020 10:59

@bettysoreboobs @Harper04 I'm in North Wales I called the GP who passed me onto the midwife office on friday and the area midwife called me yesterday worked out my date and has scheduled the booking appointment for the 17th so il be 8 weeks (I think) GP wasnt that helpful though!
Try calling the district midwife office for your area sure you could google them! I know I have to wait to see them but having the apt has put my mind at ease abit!

MrsLBear · 02/06/2020 11:29

Hi everyone!
Congratulations to you all on your BFP!!
I got mine yesterday. Although we were actively TTC it was such a shock after having a mmc last February.
Calculated my due date for 8th Feb! So I'm 4+1 today! Would love to join the Facebook group once I've had my early scan (mid June) so if someone could let me know how to find it that'll be amazing!

I self referred to the hospital too and they said I should hear in 3 days. Really hope corona has eases even more over the coming months as I will be so sad if my DH cant attend the first scan. Although he can attend the private one.

MrsLBear · 02/06/2020 11:32

@February2021 I would love to join the fb group if you could let me know how to please 💘

MrsLBear · 02/06/2020 11:34

I found it 💘

RiverRoo · 02/06/2020 11:35

@MrsLBear I'm due Feb 8th as well and also had a MMC in Feb this year. Congrats on your BFP! Is this your 1st? I have a little 2.5 year old son. Crossing my fingers for a girl this time! I haven't booked with my doc yet. I'm in Australia (not sure where you're from!) and we generally visit our GP to confirm the pregnancy with blood work and they give you a referral for a dating scan around 7ish weeks. That scan can't come fast enough!! Although I'll be quite nervous given we found no heartbeat at our scan in Feb for the previous pregnancy.

Brigg253 · 02/06/2020 12:41

@RiverRoo @MrsLBear I also had an early miscarriage in Feb and I'm so anxious now. Are you over analysing every tiny twinge? It's going to be such a long 3 week wait until I have a scan at 7 weeks, Ill be a nervous wreck Grin
I dont think I'll quite believe it's happening until I see it though

howlatthetrees · 02/06/2020 13:18

Congratulations to all the BFP!

Have you range the GP? @ambs1994 they might be able to help

@Harper04 I don’t know whether to tell my children soon, I’d love to tell my dad as well. I just think it might lift people’s spirits with everything going on. I have a fan and the window open and DH can’t fall asleep because of the noise, I like to remind him that I can’t fall asleep because I’m creating his child.

@Jess1han I think I’m going to book an early scan too, and then hopefully we can make sure everything is fine and tell family then

ambs1994 · 02/06/2020 13:24

I havent rang the gp, i feel as if I'll be wasting their time. I've been before in January where we had a positive test at home, went to the doctors and theirs was negative, also took bloods and was also negative. I was made out to feel like I was stupid for being there

Mermaidlagoon · 02/06/2020 13:58

I've booked my first midwife appointment which is at a women's centre on 8th July. I'll be nearly 9 weeks by then. Does anyone know what will happen, do they always scan at this stage too or do I have to wait for the 12 week scan for that?
