Hey everyone!!! I know I’m super early as I’m 12dpo but I’ve finally had my “pregnant” on clear blue digital and I’m over the moon. I’ve been trying to tell myself not to get tooo excited as I had a chemical pregnancy in March but, too late haha. I’m so excited and happy! May as well be positive about it..

Anyone else just found out they’re pregnant and due in February 2021? The NHS due date calculator puts at the 3rd February. What’s your symptoms been so far ?

Xx

I'm too nervous to join the Facebook group! I don't know why. I just think something will go wrong, but I've no reason to think that. I've just never been pregnant before.

Today I've had such an upset stomach and I just can't face any food. I'm only 4 +5 so didn't expect to get any sort of symptoms yet.

Might have a nibble on some dry crackers.

OldMaBear · 29/05/2020 19:51

Hi all! I had my final confirmation BFP yesterday after a very faint line on the 24th, a stronger line on the 27th and finally I bought a digital test that literally spells out “pregnant” or “not pregnant”. I don’t think I really believed it until I saw the words!
I’m feeling ok ish. It’s hard to know how much is psychosomatic isn’t it. Waves of nausea, a bit of heartburn and definitely thirst but that just might be because of the hot weather!
Have any of you told anyone yet? My husband and I are going to wait a while yet before we do.

Elenor1010 · 29/05/2020 20:24

Same, got a Feb 3rd due date.
First time and I am super terrified of things going though, literally fill panic mode.

colajay · 29/05/2020 21:56

Hey ladies! I got my positive this week a little shocked as everyone says it will take so long so we started TTC much sooner than we would have ideally wanted to conceive but saying that we are very happy if a little she’ll shocked!

@February2021 I would love to join the Facebook group please 🙏🏼🙏🏼

My symptoms -

Big swollen boobs
ridiculous sense of smell
Very low cramps - not like AF cramps
Also can’t sleep past 4am... 🤯
Loss of appetite
Very emotional and a hatred of my husband bless him 🤣

Hope everyone is ok and getting to grips with the fact that this time next year we will have 3/4 Month olds!

Xxx

Harper04 · 30/05/2020 08:19

@WAnnaParticipate Hey! Congratulations on your BFP! I’m with you on the nausea 😫 Lots of things I smell that are usually fine are smelling horrible to me aswell!
I’m going to wait until I have a scan to tell anyone just to make sure everything’s okay but I’m going to book a private one for 7-8 weeks as I can’t wait until the 12 week one 😂 Last night my partner had a zoom online stag do as his was meant to be yesterday - everyone was demanding I did shots too so I cleaned out a vodka bottle and had to act out the gross faces when taking them 🙈😂 It was hard work haha!

@RDC2020 I have a little girl and I ordered a “big sister” too for my little girl as we knew wanted a baby for a while so I kept it in the cupboard praying it would happen. I put it on her and got her to give him the FRER at 11dpo.

Does anyone else keep waking up with super dry mouth?

RDC2020 · 30/05/2020 08:24

@Harper04 Awww the big sister top sounds so adorable! 😍

I have also had an extremely dry mouth the last few mornings. 🤷🏻‍♀️

In the end I ordered the below package (in my OHs name) and when it was delivered yesterday I gave it to him - he was so confused when opening it... "I swear I haven't ordered anything" and then the realisation hit. He was so happy! 🎉 🤣

@OldMaBear I just did a digital test and got 1-2 weeks - I also didn't believe it until I saw "pregnant" in writing! 🤣🤣

FEBRUARY 2021 DUE DATE
Harper04 · 30/05/2020 08:27

@Sunnylil Hey! Congrats on your BFP! How crazy that it’s the same due date as your son. How are you feeling?

@OldMaBear congratulations! 🎊 I didn’t believe it until I saw the pregnant word either! Even though I still can’t help but POAS!

@Elenor1010 congratulations! Have you contacted your gp or self referred yet? Need to do it all next week! Try not to worry too much - I was so worried about my cramps the other day and they’re gone now, thank god. I’m going to try and not read into everything so much.

@colajay hey! Congrats on your BFP! My OH is irritating the hell out of me 😂 He isn’t even doing anything, bless him! I also have a very dry mouth when I wake up, need to up my water intake I think! That’s crazy that next year we will have 3/4 month olds, didn’t even think of that! Ahhh so excited 😍

@RDC2020 Awww that’s such a lovely idea! Love that idea. I now want to think of a really nice idea to surprise my mum, last time I was so shocked as we weren’t trying and I was scared that I rang her on the phone 😂 I want to do something nice this time. Xx

RDC2020 · 30/05/2020 08:32

@Harper04 we were supposed to get married this year (in July) but have postponed to next summer - so most of our family will be so shocked (but excited - our parents are all dying to become grandparents! Haha)

We're seeing my mum and dad at the beginning of July - so hoping to do it then! Just don't know how! 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

Strawbellie · 30/05/2020 08:57

Hi All,
Congratulations! Got my digital positive on Thursday - Clearblue week detector put me around 5 weeks however PCOS irregular AFs mean my EDD is between 26/1 and 7/2, changing doctors at the moment so won’t be seen by anyone for a while to give me a proper answer!
Feeling alright at the moment with just some lower cramping and so dehydrated didn’t even put 2 and 2 together until mentioned here!
Excited to go on this journey with you all 😊

OldMaBear · 30/05/2020 09:11

My boobs are so sore! It’s good to read that other people have that too and it’s not just me barking ‘be careful’ every time my husband tries to hug me.
He has become so protective and wants to wrap me up in cotton wool but I’m sure it won’t last - as soon as he realises “I don’t want you lifting anything” means he’d have to do some housework it’ll be back to normal!!! No, he’s wonderful really.
I feel very lucky but also very VERY scared. I’m older and this is our first so it’s all unknown territory and I’m scared my parents will be concerned as I have other health conditions (including clinical depression). I want them to be thrilled but I fear they’ll just be worried.

Elenor1010 · 30/05/2020 09:22

I have indeed, contacted gp on Thursday and they sent me through to signing up on our local maternity services.
I've been really gassy which has been a fun symptom!! Also in the last day started getting hormonal, I've ugly cried cause I wanted a smoothie and just was having a cry at rupauls drag race...
Super nervous about everything still though

slimshadyscousin · 30/05/2020 10:07

Hi all! I have sent a Fb request to join the group. Tentatively joining as tested this morning and got a vfl- due date 13/02/21!

Sunnylil · 30/05/2020 11:53

@Harper04 thank you! Yes it’s very surreal, we’re so excited but trying not to let us get ahead of ourselves! I’m quite nauseous but finding ice lollies are helping! It’s nice to read of everyone in the same boat as me, selfishly, all feeling the same Grin

Brigg253 · 30/05/2020 12:07

Hi, I'd love to join too please :)
11dpo today and positive tests (may be have got through a few!). Potential due date 9th Feb.
Slightly anxious as many others seem to be as experiencing occasional niggly cramps. I had a miscarriage in Feb so I don't think I'll quite believe all's ok until I have a scan and can see for myself.
Nice to meet you all Smile

colajay · 30/05/2020 12:13

Hey guys how do I join the Facebook group? :)

howlatthetrees · 30/05/2020 13:08

I’ve been tentatively following this thread but today I got a really dark test! So I’m joining!. According to the NHS website my EDD is the 5th. This will be my 4th. We hadn’t planned for this but I’m very happy (I’ve secretly always wanted 4 but DH was adamant we were stopping at 3)

FEBRUARY 2021 DUE DATE
MinesALatte · 30/05/2020 15:15

Hi ladies,

I’m following and would love to join the Facebook group that @February2021 thought of, such a lovely idea, but I might hold off for a bit as I’m scared something will go wrong. I’m very early, only 3w+2, 13DPO, no implantation bleeding but some faint lines turning darker over the last couple of days and A LOT of nausea, but this is my second pregnancy, first one ended at 5 weeks in February so trying to just stay calm and hope for the best xx

lmgp · 30/05/2020 15:40

Eeek 10DPO for me. And a line on FRER and some v v faints on IC’s. Told partner straight away this morning. Feeling scared it’s not real! Can’t wait to do another tomorrow!

howlatthetrees · 30/05/2020 16:24

I’m feeling really nauseous today. I’ve found each pregnancy has got more difficult because I have more children to deal with. To those with DC’s already, are you going to tell them straight away or wait until 12 weeks?

LolaBlue87 · 30/05/2020 18:06

@colajay if you go back to the 2nd page of the thread there is a link 😊

Chicken123 · 30/05/2020 18:53

Congrats on all your positives lovely ladies!
I’m 4 weeks today and as well as testing yesterday, I didn’t believe I was pregnant so went out today, £30 later and definitely pregnant. Self referred to the hospital so fingers crossed I hear from the midwife soon and also booked in for a private early scan for the end of next month!

FEBRUARY 2021 DUE DATE
colajay · 30/05/2020 19:30

@SunSparkle, I’m exactly the same, 31 and thought it would take ages but had sex once on our first cycle TTC and bam 💥 and I’m absolutely terrified too, we have a lovely settled comfortable life and both career focused, not ready for this whirlwind but excited too xx

Mermaidlagoon · 30/05/2020 20:50

Hi guys 29 and tested positive yesterday with first baby although only 11 dpo. Going to to take the digital test that spells out pregnant in a couple of days once my period due date has passed as I don't think I'll 100% believe it till I see that! Definitly feel very pregnant got nausea, bloating and sensitive boobs (although I get the bloating and sensitive boobs every month as pms symptoms anyway) Haven't told my partner yet as don't want to get his hopes up until I get to my period date and get a stronger positive. Really happy as earlier in the year wished to myself that I would be pregnant on my 30th which is mid June, didn't seem like it was going to happen but looks like it came just in the nick of time! 😊

Bishington · 30/05/2020 21:34

Hi, so new to all of this (the jargon is so confusing!) but tested positive this morning with a digital test and I’m both terrified and excited in equal measure. I think I’m about four weeks according to NHS website, but I’ve had varying length cycles so not completely sure. This is my first, and I feel so clueless!
