Hey everyone!!! I know I’m super early as I’m 12dpo but I’ve finally had my “pregnant” on clear blue digital and I’m over the moon. I’ve been trying to tell myself not to get tooo excited as I had a chemical pregnancy in March but, too late haha. I’m so excited and happy! May as well be positive about it..

Anyone else just found out they’re pregnant and due in February 2021? The NHS due date calculator puts at the 3rd February. What’s your symptoms been so far ?

Xx

Congrats everyone! Star

I'm due 1st Feb! I'm trying to get excited but I've been having really bad pains. GP sad not to worry unless I bleed, so fingers crossed the pain goes away! I've had it for at least a couple of weeks so I'm sure if something was going to happen it would have by now (at least that's what I'm telling myself).

LolaBlue87 · 28/05/2020 18:47

Hi everyone! Just got my BFP yesterday. A bit of a shock as we weren’t expecting it to happen so quickly (first month of trying). We have a 10 month old and I’m already feeling symptoms and thinking ‘oh yeah, I remember this!’ Have a bit of mild period like cramp and lower back pain which I had at this stage with my first pregnancy too. No painful boobs though which I’m thinking could be down to me still breastfeeding my daughter, but no idea. If my boobs get as sore as last time I’m not sure I’ll be able to keep bf, I remember them being agony!
Hope you are all doing well and I’m off to join the fb group. Due 01/02/21!

Harper04 · 28/05/2020 18:50

Are most people still experiencing cramping? I’m mildly cramping on and off throughout the day. Want to make sure it’s normal 🙈

@Harper04
Thank you!
Oh bless you! That’s how I’ve been feeling the past couple of weeks..haven’t been able to pinpoint what’s making me feel so crappy but just know I feel crappy!
I’ve suddenly come across exhausted. If I closed my eyes now I could fall asleep until the morning I reckon😂
No idea!! Hah!

And I’m also experiencing cramping and bloating too. They’re not like period cramps though and some of them are up behind my belly button. I’ve also had upset stomach today too x

LolaBlue87 · 28/05/2020 19:15

@Harper04 I’ve had period like cramps since a few days before my period was due. I had this with my last pregnancy too and was told it’s totally normal. It’s just everything stretching. It might go on for a little while so I’d try not to worry. If the pains get bad then I would talk to the midwife/GP. X

A08x · 28/05/2020 21:06

@Harper04 yes it is lol! I’ve sent you a wee message on there hope that’s alright x

RDC2020 · 28/05/2020 21:16

Hi everyone - I recognise a few people from some TTC threads👋🏼☺️!
I'd love to (tentatively) join this threat.
Yesterday I had a faint positive and today a clear positive on a FRER.
My EDD would be 6th Feb and AF isn't due for 2 more days... so I feel like I can't get excited until I pass that date.

So lovely to see so many people with similar due dates! ✨

Chicken123 · 29/05/2020 06:33

Good morning ladies.
Felt bloody awful last night, and feel just as bad this morning.
It’s almost like yesterday evening, things ramped you a little bit with the symptoms.
I could not for the life of me go to sleep because I thought I was going to throw up (but didn’t), and then for someone who struggles to get up in the mornings, I woke up at 5.30?! I haven’t seen that time of day in forever! And I also feel sick this morning too. The thought of anything to eat or even a cuppa makes me feel sick.
I also had a bit of a dodgy tummy yesterday afternoon, and woke up with that same feeling of needing to go to the toilet.
If it gets a hell of a lot more worse than this, my god, I don’t know what I’ll do with myself!! X

SundayChilling · 29/05/2020 06:38

Hi @RDC2020 🙂 I’m also 2 days away from AF hopefully not appearing, bit of a nervous wait but finger crossed for both of us!

I’ve got positives on digital and FRER, but also been using cheap strips to try and save money - but they are coming up with such faint lines I feel that was a waste of money!

@Harper04 I’ve still got mild cramping too, so I’m hoping that’s a good sign positive things are happening down there! 🤞

Harper04 · 29/05/2020 07:20

@Frost1 Hey!! Congrats on your BFP!! GP said the same to me and I read online you can have cramps every month when AF was supposed to be! 😫 Feeling very nauseous today!

@LolaBlue87 Hey! Awww that’s so lovely though it’s only taken a month, congrats 😘 These threads are so good because if I was sat home by myself with cramps I’d be freaking out 10x more! Nice to know a lot of people are in the same boat. The FB group is fab!

@RDC2020 Hey hun! Congrats on your positive, I had a very faint on FRER and then dark the next day. Have you had any symptoms?

@SundayChilling Me too! But I’m going to try and see it as a positive now like you said instead of worrying! It’s probably all the stretching!

@Chicken123 aww bless you! There’s nothing worse than feeling nauseous 😫 I have been waking up earlier too and feeling quite refreshed when usually I can’t get out of bed in the mornings. Hope the nausea doesn’t last all day for you.

If anyone has any tips for nausea let us know because I couldn’t shift it the whole 16 weeks of my last pregnancy!

RDC2020 · 29/05/2020 07:44

@SundayChilling I've also found that with the cheap sticks! Useless. Not done a digital yet - going to wait maybe another day! Did a FRER this morning and the line is darker 🙌🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

@Harper04 Hi! Not many symptoms - sore boobs but different to when AF is here and a slight bit of nausea, but only in the last few days.
I usually get really obvious symptom that I am due on and haven't this month - so taking that as a good sign! 🙈🤞🏼

So glad I've found this group!

IndigoJam · 29/05/2020 07:49

Hi, joining as had my 'Pregnant' result on a digital this morning and think I'll be due early February.

This will be my second baby, what about everyone else?

My main symptoms have been needing to go to the toilet a lot since 7DPO like every 20 minutes and getting dizzy when I stand up but that's about it so far. Last time around I went right off tea, bacon and bagels 3 of my fav things so hoping this time is different!

Chicken123 · 29/05/2020 07:57

@Harper04
There’s nothing worse than feeling nauseous! I couldn’t even drink my cup of tea this morning😓
Currently eating a piece of plain bread.
That’s what happened to me this morning, I woke up feeling like I’d had the best night sleep!

Yeah if anyone knows if there’s anything we can take, eat or drink OR do to ease it, it would be so so appreciated x

Harper04 · 29/05/2020 07:58

@RDC2020 I’ve been feeling nauseous the last day or two as well 🤮 I’m also hungry, but I don’t want anything which makes it worse!

@IndigoJam Hey!! So nice to see you on this thread! This is my second baby, I have a 2 year old little girl. How old is yours? 🥰

Harper04 · 29/05/2020 08:00

@Chicken123 the only thing I can think of that slightly helped was these sweets called pregnancy pops (I think they’re called). They’re super sour so take your mind off being nauseous, helped a teeny weeny bit! But nothing I tried worked amazing for me!

@Harper04 She's 3 she'll be basically 4 before this one is born i didnt want such a big age gap but I'm sure it'll be fine. She'll love it cause she loves babies. She was the first person I told and she kindof just looked at me and said "What"

Chicken123 · 29/05/2020 08:24

@Harper04
Yeah! I’m the same, I’m hungry but the thought of eating makes me feel even more sick!
Ah, I’ll have to give them a go. Where did you get them from?
x

Harper04 · 29/05/2020 08:50

@IndigoJam I still think that’s a lovely age gap, your daughter will be wanting to help you all the time! She’s going to be thrilled to have a real life baby to play with haha!

@Chicken123 I just googled and they’re called peggies pop drops 😂 They did kind of help, distracts you from feeling nauseous! I’ll be ordering them again this time for sure!

Hi, I hope you don't mind me joining. Congratulations everyone on your BFPs :) I got mine this morning - managed to hold off testing until the day after AF was due. Can't quite believe it yet! This is my first pregnancy and we were only on our second cycle TTC. I feel very lucky that it has worked so quickly, TTC was stressing me out a lot more than I thought it would! Fingers crossed it sticks...

I don't have many symptoms yet - mainly I have a slight feeling of nausea and I am burping a lot, but that only started a couple of days ago. My brain has also felt a bit foggy for the last week - DH thought something was up because I was saying/doing a lot of silly things that didn't make sense!

What are everyone's plans for telling friends and family? I was hoping to keep it secret for a bit, but we're going to see the in-laws tonight in their garden and I'm sure they'll very suspicious when I turn down alcohol... Hmm

IndigoJam · 29/05/2020 09:45

I'm hoping not to tell my mum or sister until I'm 12 weeks and I know the gender. I want to surprise them. But 12 weeks is a long time and being furloughed with nothing to cirrently distant me I feel I might not make it.

RDC2020 · 29/05/2020 14:17

Just wondered how everyone told their OHs? I've had 2 days of positives on FRER but AF isn't due for 2 days - did most people wait until after missed AF or before?! 🙈

I also need a good way to tell him! Any ideas! 😂🥰

LolaBlue87 · 29/05/2020 18:14

@RDC2020 I put the positive pregnancy test next to his coffee cup so he got a nice surprise first thing in the morning! 😂

IndigoJam · 29/05/2020 18:27

I told mine at 7am this morning and he said that's good. Then at half ten he appeared at the door and said I've just realised your pregnant, thats good news. I was like yeah only took you 3 hours.

Sunnylil · 29/05/2020 18:54

Hi all,

Just asked to join the group! I got my positive test last Saturday and estimating 30/1/21 due date but this was my due date 3 years ago and my DS came 7/2! Congrats to you all! Xx
