Hey everyone!!! I know I’m super early as I’m 12dpo but I’ve finally had my “pregnant” on clear blue digital and I’m over the moon. I’ve been trying to tell myself not to get tooo excited as I had a chemical pregnancy in March but, too late haha. I’m so excited and happy! May as well be positive about it..

Anyone else just found out they’re pregnant and due in February 2021? The NHS due date calculator puts at the 3rd February. What’s your symptoms been so far ?

Another awful night's sleep for me...I can't wait for the glowing stage to arrive lol. Does anyone else have terrible acne at the moment and any tips on shifting it? It might be the progesterone I'm on but its really getting me down

@MorgenMuffel I feel your pain. I've been dreaming about going to classes and having to collect stuff for the baby and me not having the right stuff. Then having to tell my work about being pregnant and my step son but it wasn't a baby it was a chilled water bottle and this was all in the sea 😆 I've always been a vivid dreamer but I can see they are about to get more vivid!

My skin is spotty & very dry. Always had dry skin but it's worse now and I've never really had spots but I do now 🤔

Incredible how so early in it can make such a difference to your body.

@sshl wow that is an intense dream! Feels like I'm not ever asleep long enough to dream at the moment lol.

I know, I really wasn't expecting to have any symptoms this early.

@MorgenMuffel same for me it sucks doesn't it? I did have pregnancy insomnia last time but seem to have forgotten, I am so tired now tho and it's harder to fight the nausea! I am eating every few hours to stop myself feeling sick, trying to be healthy but just want stodgy carbs so eating what I am craving! I even had to get up in the night and get some crackers! Anyone else with me!?

@lydiangel83 I'm with you. My nausea seems to be in the morning, I feel so hungry like it hurts but I feel so sick I can't even think about eating. It then seems to get me again around 10pm just before bed. I've found if I eat a big meal (well like a normal dinner) I feel so full after & I have stomach ache. I think I'm going to have to try little & often. I know what you mean about the stodgy stuff, I'm normally really healthy but I just want to eat rubbish stuff with lots of butter 😅

@lydiangel83 @sshl I can't work out if I'm hungry or feeling sick this morning. On the train to work so can't do much about it at the moment! I am also finding myself eating more carby things - ready salted crisps and salted cashews keep falling into my mouth!

I've woken this morning feeling sick 🤢. With all my pregnancy's I have had bad sickness so I'm not expecting this one to be any different! I have always found carrying a snack, like a biscuit or crackers in my bag so that if I felt sick I'd have a nibble. Only time I didn't feel sick was when I was eating 😩.

As for acne, I normally suffer from spots but when pregnant I get clear skin and my leg hair stops growing 🤣

Also getting hungry can definitely make the sickness worse so avoid that if you can 🙂

Hi everyone! I'm very tentatively, nervously and cautiously joining you all!

Little bit of info, got together with DH at age 38 in September 2016, bought our first house and had DS in 2017 age 39, got married in 2018 at 40 and been ttc number 2 for a very long 18mths. Was referred to the Fertility Clinic pre Covid, then decided in April to withdraw and just be happy with what we had as a family of 3.

Then did 4 cheap tests at the weekend that showed a faint shadow and this lovely FRER yesterday.

EDD 9/2/21.

I'm 42, classed as obese and this is realistically probably my last chance. So keeping everything crossed. I've had horrendous nausea, heartburn, headaches and can't sleep past 5am.

Hi! Can I join please? This is my first pregnancy and I’m a bit clueless! EDD is 1/2/21 and I’m 29

So far the symptoms I’ve been experiencing are exhaustion and sore boobs. Bit concerned that I haven’t felt nauseous yet - I know this is such a silly problem to be having and if it starts I’ll wish it hadn’t - but I‘m just so anxious for everything to turn out ok that I’m treating all symptoms as good news.

@MorgenMuffel the ‘glowing’ stage is a myth it’s sweat well it was in my case!!

I’m symptomless, was with DD and am now. No sickness, cramps have passed and boobs are no longer sore. I have however, (TMI) had a touch of diarrhoea this am. And I’m a little more tired than usual, but that’s because of the toddler.

@MorgenMuffel that sounds really intense. Ive always had vivid dreams, so nothing new for me. Just had to do another preggo test because my husband had a bad dream 😂

Going round my mum's next week to celebrate my birthday social distancing and she's said she's got a bottle of prosecco I was just like oh ok cool. She doesn't know I'm pregnant and partner really doesn't want to tell anyone but I'll find it more stressful having to lie to her than if I just told her I'm pregnant but that it's early and not to get too excited yet. I'll be almost 6 weeks and won't have had any viability scan yet.
I told my partner I think I want to tell a couple of people and he said he doesn't feel comfortable anyone knowing because he'd hate to have to then tell people if it went wrong, but I've said even if it went wrong before I'd told anyone I'd still tell at least my mum and my closest friends so what harm is there telling them now. All I get is I'm not allowed to drink not even an orange juice with a drop of prosecco to make it look obvious, I'm not allowed to tell anyone why, but I don't feel comfortable lieing to my mum 😔 I know it's a small problem to have but it's stressing me out.

I’ve had my booking in appointment over the phone this morning, my scan is booked. Oh my this is getting very real now.

Tentatively joining. Edd of 15th Feb. No symptoms other than tiredness but then I do have an 11 month old to look after. Thought we might be trying for a while and its happened quicker than we thought it would.

Congratulations everyone on your BFPs!

Thought would post to hopefully put some people’s minds at rest that are going through the same thing.

From my dates I should be 6week 4days today. However I have been for a scan today and dated at 6week 1day and due on 01.02.2021

The reason for my early scan was.. I hard some light bleeding on Thursday, Dark brown/red and last a couple of hours. Only visible when wiping. Sorry TMI.

I then had cramping and very pale pink discharge over the weekend. I called EPU Thursday and was advised to wait it out. As the cramping got worse over the weekend and I lost the first pregnancy symptom I had(breast soreness) I called back and got an early scan for this morning.

I had an ultrasound and could see yolk sack but no baby

I then had an internal scan and after around 5 minutes the Sonographer found the BABY. She saw, Yolk sack, fetal pole and heartbeat. She dated me at 6week 1day.

I know it’s still very early but hope this helps if anyone else is going through this. I had written this pregnancy off and expected to see nothing on the scan.

I’m 27, first pregnancy.

@Mermaidlagoon It was my Dad's birthday yesterday and we had a socially distant gathering in my parents back garden. There was lots of prosecco and my DH had to neck his and then discreetly give me the empty glass so it looked like I'd drunk it! Bless him, every time there was a top up he had to drink two glasses. The struggle is real. I can't wait until I can just tell people.

That made me laugh out loud!!
I was bloody sick of hearing about it the last time, every appointment I had all they said was "old and fat" They'll be worse this time because I'm significantly older and fatter!!

I've already decided I'm going to tell the midwife at my appointment that I'm not going to be weighed this time round. It affected me badly last time and I think heavily contributed to the stress and PND I suffered afterwards. They were really awful.
