@hopefulmummie oh how frustrating 😭 that really is no use. Defo get your money back and go elsewhere for internal. These first few weeks really are the worst no one knows what to do for the best... to have early scan or not the worry that comes with an early scan as sometimes things aren’t seen etc or to wait until 12 weeks but in the dark the whole time. Just not enjoyable :(

@Hopefulmummie that's not a good enough reply, I would be demanding your money back. There was no reason to not carry out an internal scan to put your mind at rest. I hope your ok this morning. X

@Hopefulmummie yea I agree, It's ridiculous that answer! Like it's a difficult procedure to do internal, we go through this all the time 🤦🏼‍♀️ what about putting you through more stress?!... it just sounds like they are looking for excuses for not doing it... I would ask my money back too or not pay for the one in 2 weeks. But I wouldn't trust them anymore at this point, probably best to go somewhere else...

I know really not happy with their reply. They aren't charging for the rescan but think I will ask for my money back especially as I'm going to window to the womb on Sunday. I've read far better reviews of here and know they will do an internal scan

Just annoyed I've to wait another week for answers now

I've woke up so bloated today and my stomach feels really hard. Did anyone else have this early on?

Just saying hello.
I'm 7 + 3 with DC4!
It has taken a while for the idea to sink in (you might have seen on another thread my DH was quite upset at first)
I feel so, so sick at the moment. Much worse than my other 3!
My youngest is 6 years so I feel like I have forgotten everything and we have no baby stuff left in the house except for my big pillow and a moses basket. I'm also quite conscious of the fact I am older now (37years) so I am quite anxious about complications.

I'm back to work tomorrow we currently on a rota one week in and one week off just hope I can cope with the tiredness lol

Have you got a date for your 1st appointment?

@Hopefulmummie I haven't got a booking appointment yet. I've left messages with the midwife but no reply. I need to chase it up tomorrow.
I have been really bloated and with it being my fourth (and having zero tummy muscles left) I don't think I'll be able to hide this pregnancy for very long. Trousers feeling tighter already!

@grumpy19 I haven't got one either think I will chase it up when I'm around 8 weeks.

Lol have you told anyone yet? Are you gonna book an early scan or just wait?

@Hopefulmummie I'm going to wait for the 12 week scan I think. I've never had a private scan with any of my pregnancies. We've told our parents but that's it. Don't want the children to know until we are further on and a little more secure.

@Hopefulmummie I had a bad experience at 6+6 at baby bond too.
Very rude, short and just not interested showed me the heartbeat for about five seconds. The sonography seemed annoyed couldn't get a very clear image said I hadn't drank enough but no offer of internal.
Went to WTTW at 8 weeks. Opted for the internal and had a lovely experience. Very friendly and kind. X

@dixiedo yeah sounds like the experience I had it seemed the couldn't wait to get me out of the room
Think I was probably in there 5 minutes.
It shouldn't be like that.

@Hopefulmummie You poor thing! That’s a proper fob off reply on their part! I don’t get how they think ‘being put through an internal scan’ is worse than being made to wait 2 weeks, especially when the reason you booked is because you’re worried from the bleeding! Knobs. You’ll have a much better experience at window to the womb I’m sure, they were so so lovely at mine.

Also yes to the bloated stomach! 😂 Mines been bloated since before 4 weeks 🙈 but it’s definitely getting worse and it’s rock solid and never goes down! How’s your nausea now lovey?

Hi @Grumpy19 👋🏻 Sorry to hear you’ve been feeling so sick, I’m the same boat! Also 37 here 🙋🏻‍♀️ Which I’m assured by my best mate, who’s a midwife, is not as worrying as we might think RE complications 👍🏻 Hopefully that makes you feel better! ❤️

@terribleimagination I know not happy at all with the treatment I got and just making me stress more.
Yeah mines seems very solid today it's the first I've noticed it
Nausea is ok today felt a bit icky after I ate my breakfast this morning but all good now

@Hopefulmummie I don’t blame you lovey! When is your next scan?

Evening every one, hope you are all having a lovely Sunday. Has anyone experienced pulling/twinges and then after felt like they have done about 50 sit ups?

@Hopefulmummie I'm also 6+1 hoping to have a scan on Sunday too! But I'm nervous now. May postpone til 8 weeks. Just so hard to know. On my previous pregnancy I had an internal at 5+3 at the EPU and they saw a heart beat. I then paid for a private scan external at 9 weeks and all was well. Don't know if I can wait til week 9

@sk283 I originally had mine booked for 8 weeks but as I was bleeding I booked one for 6 weeks. They didn't scan me internally so didn't see anything as I'm too early. They really should've.

I have another scan with a different clinic on Sunday and its internal so hoping to see something

Started being really off food and the only food I will eat is either super sugary (ice cream and sweets) or super salty (crisps and dip). I feel rubbish but first midwife call tomorrow

Has anyone had sharp painful cramps? These only just started and I've never felt ones like these :(

@Hopefulmummie are you drinking enough? Sounds like you starting UTI... you can cramps with UTI. Try to drink at least 2 litres per day, should help!

I feel so tired in the afternoons for the last 3 days, literally can't do nothing but watch telly on the sofa 🙄

@lilypad88 Im probably not drinking enough. I ended up ringing out of hours doctor there as the pain has became unbearable. I'm waiting on them ringing back.

I'm just worried cause of the bleeding too. Although it hasn't got any heavier today
