Mrsi2020 · 20/05/2020 22:36

Hi everyone, very tentatively joining here so I can have a snoop!

I got my bfp today, I’m 15dpo I think (possibly 9dpo as I’m trying to convince myself my vvvfl could be due to late ovulation!)

Hope everyone’s well! See a few names I recognise! Xx

Welcome @Mrsi2020! Congratulations again!

MayBug2020 · 21/05/2020 07:01

@Newbyintown and @BabyG123 how exciting!! Sorry I may have already asked this but is this both your first? It’s mine so all very new to me. Feeling super nervous this morning but trying to keep busy until my appointment later today. I don’t have Emma’s app but I will have a look at downloading it. Xx

doji789 · 21/05/2020 07:02

Hi ladies!

I just came across this thread. I'm new to Mumsnet so I hope you don't mind me jumping on?

I'm 5+4 according to my app. Very excited but also feeling a little nervous given the current circumstances. We have a 2 year old so trying to keep up with him all day is proving difficult with the 1st trimester exhaustion!

How are you all doing? X

BabyG123 · 21/05/2020 07:13

@MayBug2020 my DS1 only just turnt 1 so ill be having 2 under 2 🥰 we always wanted a 2-3 year age gap so thought we'd start trying not knowing how long it could take and this little bean swam on cycle 1 👏🏼👶🏼

@doji789 Welcome. Morning sickness/heart burn is tough but once I'm going I feel better. Welcome to the crew!

@BabyG123 @MayBug2020 yes first after two early miscarriages in Jan and March. Feeling very anxious and every day that passes it's a blessing.

Good luck with the scan @MayBug2020 let us know how you get on!

EllieJai44 · 21/05/2020 07:35

I'm on the Facebook group but also still lurking around here 😂 5+3 today, got my 12 week scan date through the other day and it feels so long away! 😫

FirstTimeMumAt31 · 21/05/2020 09:29

Hey everyone. Thought I would pop back on and congratulate everyone on their pregnancy's going smoothly 🤞🏻

I still get very nauseous all the time and usually vomit at least once a day. Il be 8 weeks tomorrow and booked an early scan for Saturday afternoon as they allow partners to attend. It's all so exciting

@Carabu1 I still have yet to hear from a midwife or anyone yet either and like with you my receptionist I got through to was very uninterested so just gonna continue to wait it out 😒. Hoping this scan will make it all real for me though

whatsthecraic91 · 21/05/2020 09:49

@FirstTimeMumAt31 same I haven't heard a thing either, would be nice to even get a 12 week scan date through then you know you haven't been forgot about! Good luck for your scan on Saturday I have mine on Sunday 😊

FirstTimeMumAt31 · 21/05/2020 10:22

@whatsthecraic91 it just doesn't feel real at the moment until I speak to someone! Is this your first?

whatsthecraic91 · 21/05/2020 11:23

@FirstTimeMumAt31 totally agree! Yes this is my first, if I haven't heard anything by the time I'm 9 weeks I'm going to ring the Lagan valley to see what's happening. They said I didn't need to inform my GP as they will do it for me and I haven't heard from them either! I'm just like 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

MayBug2020 · 21/05/2020 11:44

So had my scan and they think I am a lot early than predicted as I only had one cycle since coming off my pill and normally ignore the dates. It says I am 5 weeks and need to be rescanned in 7-10 days. I am now freaking out a little bit incase it’s not a sticky bean and there is something wrong...anyone had a similar situation? X

Baba11 · 21/05/2020 11:57

@MayBug2020 did they pick up a heartbeat? Or is to early for that?

MayBug2020 · 21/05/2020 12:03

@Baba11 too early but I am really worried something is wrong :(

Baba11 · 21/05/2020 12:07

Is there a chance you could have got your dates wrong? I'm sure if there was something wrong they would have said also you would have other signs such as bleeding or cramps... try and stay positive just means u have to wait a few more weeks to see your baba
It will be worth the wait

MayBug2020 · 21/05/2020 12:20

@Baba11 yes it is possible as I only came off the pill at the end of Feb and had one period which started on 31st March. I tested 1st and 5th May and both were negative (which I guess should have been positive if I was going on my period dates) and only got my positive on 15th May. Just so worrying having to wait and see if everything will progress x

Baba11 · 21/05/2020 12:25

@MayBug2020 I'm sure it is just a case of your dates been wrong. Especially if you come off the pill that could explain things.

Maybe do a pregnancy tests the dark lines may settle your nerves or a clear blue digi

Lollipop93 · 21/05/2020 12:25

Hey guys! I recognise some of your names from the TTC thread. Congratulations on all your BFP’s. I am currently 5 weeks and have constant nausea I know I should complain but omg it’s hard. I also have a toddler too. Anyone else feeling constantly sick? It’s almost like motion sickness it’s horrendous and can never know if I’m hungry or not or if the slightest thing will turn my stomach.

Ahhh

Lollipop93 · 21/05/2020 12:25

Shouldnt* complain lol

Lollipop93 · 21/05/2020 12:30

@MayBug2020 aw maybe you are a bit earlier than you thought. That happened in my first pregnancy too I thought i was 12 weeks but the baby was showing to be around 10 weeks I was worried too and had to go back a couple of weeks later. Everything ended up fine and I now have a crazy 18 month old. So don’t worry the dates can easily be wrong xxx
