Oh glad it’s not only me with the fullness!!! All I’ve managed to eat today is a few bits of fruit, hoping I can handle something substantial later. Confused

@motherofsnortpigs I have also been getting the pains down below, can’t quite place the body part. Not the vagina, but not the womb, some weird space in between.

Pregnancy is weird!

motherofsnortpigs · 17/05/2020 19:06

Glad my weird fanjo pains are a source of comfort to some Smile

@Teaandbiscuits123 what are you knitting? I crochet and have a blanket for a friend that needs all the ends sewing in before I can do the border and I’ve forbidden myself to start anything else until it’s done. I know there are a few half completed baby jumpers in the box too - now I have a reason, I should finish those too. Unfortunately both my DDs knit and crochet and are always asking for more yarn, so I start browsing the internet for all woolly things. I have to be really strict not to start new projects.

Any other crafters?

Pinkhan135 · 17/05/2020 19:13

My scan went well. Measuring two days ahead. Little wotsit wouldn't move much though, was very comfortable in there. Lots of star jumps/ lunges and still only wanted to wave its arms in the air!
Good luck everyone with your scans this week.

My headaches and general feeling of crappiness are so much worse in the evenings, it really sucks after feeling like the day is an improvement. Congrats @Pinkhan135

RunnerGirl123 · 17/05/2020 20:47

Congrats @Pinkhan135. Good luck to the ladies having scans tomorrow!

My nausea is worst in the morning before I eat anything, then sometimes picks up again as I go to bed. I find toothpaste makes me feel sick so that definitely doesn't help!! Generally feeling OK most of the time now though. I've not had issues eating a full meal in the evening, I could feel really nauseous but as soon as I took a mouthful I'd be able to keep eating - but at lunchtime I'd occasionally feel full quickly even having a small lunch. Wasnt sure what that was about!

ChampooPapi · 17/05/2020 21:20

@Pinkhan135 lovely photo 💜 and fantastic to see your update everything is well, other then a lazy baby 👣☺️

We are heading into the next two weeks of back to back scans ladies... Buckle up, we can do this together 💪♀️

@Pinkhan135 also I obviously guess girl 😏

Surly if I always guess girl I will be right 50% of the time 😂

Pinkhan135 · 17/05/2020 21:24

@ChampooPapi can you tell? I'm rubbish at this nub theory and I thought my scan pics were blurry and hard to tell. It's odd as I feel I'm having a girl actually!

Pinkhan135 · 17/05/2020 21:24

Good luck everyone with your scans

Eskdale2004 · 17/05/2020 21:32

We went for a walk tonight and I had a coughing fit which made me heave. I had to really fight off the urge to be sick in front of the girls. Grim!

ChampooPapi · 17/05/2020 21:51

@Pinkhan135 I was going on skull theory (which seems to be the most un precise way of telling 😬). But I felt girl too so maybe we are on to something 🙂

ChampooPapi · 17/05/2020 21:53

@Eskdale2004 oh God it's the pits isn't it?!. Everytime I say 'i don't actually feel that sick' I pretty much immediately think of something that sets me off and I retch while trying to then hide it from my two. They say poor mumma', but their eyes say 'that was so gross!'

skinnyhotchoc · 17/05/2020 22:02

@Pinkhan135 I'm guessing girl too!

kkr168 · 17/05/2020 22:06

Has anyone found anything that helps with the headaches? I've taken 2 paracetamol but it's not shifting! Trying to sleep when your heads throbbing is impossible.

skinnyhotchoc · 17/05/2020 22:36

@kkr168 i have trigeminal neuralgia so a throbbing head is pretty normal for me anyway. I get some relief from a hot water bottle wrapped in something soft or with a nice cover on it. I just rest my head against it. Only thing that eases the pain as I'm off my meds

skinnyhotchoc · 17/05/2020 22:38

@ChampooPapi just realised I didn't reply to you last night. Ive got to be consultant led this time anyway because my labour with dd was very fast and I had a placental abruption so I'm going to mention when I see him about the tummy tuck.

firstbabybell · 18/05/2020 06:57

Good luck with all the scans today.

Been quiet on here as we've been busy letting people know about our news. It's the most lovely thing to be able to do & we've had wonderful reactions including deliveries of flowers!

This whole thing feels like a dream!

Xxx

peachypetite · 18/05/2020 06:59

@firstbabybell I know, flowers here too and I’ve been overwhelmed at people’s responses!

firstbabybell · 18/05/2020 07:03

@peachypetite that's so lovely 🥰

Also I must apologise for my scan update post. I had skipped some of the updates & missed the post about furbabymum15 & was going on about all the lovely news. It must have been very hard for her to read & I felt quite ashamed I had missed it. I hope she's ok 😢

peachypetite · 18/05/2020 07:59

@firstbabybell I know, I didn’t realise initially too. She started a separate thread, I posted there because I assumed this one would be too painful for her to keep coming back to and reading.

Eskdale2004 · 18/05/2020 08:02

Good luck to everyone with scans today/this week!

Bobbieblu · 18/05/2020 08:57

Good luck with all the upcoming scans!

Amymone · 18/05/2020 09:02

Good luck with scans, Monday peeps! I am terrified after my dodgy one 2 weeks ago and have taken the whole day off work so I don't have to sit at my desk getting increasingly nervous!
I'll be thinking of you @ChampooPapi. You're half an hour before me!

lionsmum · 18/05/2020 09:04

Best of luck to all of those with scans today💖

EithneBlue · 18/05/2020 09:11

We still haven't told anyone 😂 - we decided to wait the extra few days for the combined screening results (even though the scan looked good). Looking forward to the looks on people's faces when they realise that the 'gin' I have been drinking on Zoom calls was, in fact, Wonderleaf, and the beer is alcohol free!

13+2 today and am starting to feel quite a bit more energetic (although I have been lucky and not had terrible symptoms anyway) ... went for a walk yesterday and was able to actually walk briskly instead of constantly asking my husband to slow down! I'm normally very active so hoping this means I can exercise a lot more over the next few months :-)

Organised my wardrobe this weekend too: put anything into storage that doesn't fit (or almost doesn't fit), which is a lot already: thanks boobs - luckily I have a lot of loose fitting tops, one-size hippie pants and dresses though! I did also spend a bit on maternity clothes (although I don't need them yet) because I know that nothing will piss me off more than suddenly realising I need Maternity jeans and then them taking 10 days to be delivered.
