I’m still feeling nauseous and off food too but I wasn’t quite 12 weeks at my scan. Friends have said they felt better around weeks 14.

lockdown84 · 17/05/2020 09:11

Hi ladies, sorry I haven’t messaged for a while, and we’ve changed threads! Thanks for re-setting up @ChampooPapi. I had my “12 week” scan on Friday, thought I was 12+3 based on LMP but I was measuring 10+6 (and too early to do NT screen) so I think I’ll be back in a couple of weeks.... was amazing to see a heartbeat - certainly feel way more connected than before.... it’s certainly feeling more real! Was sad to read the stories of ladies we’ve already lost (this thread and last) my heart goes out to them. And for all the new ladies, welcome. I’m 35 and expecting my first, now around 05.12.20. Best wishes to you all Smile

Hi,

I'm finally allowed to post pictures so thought I'd post all the scans I've had. What do u all think? First one was tranvaginal at 6+4weeks
Second one was trans ago so again at 9+0 weeks.
The last was my nhs scan at 11+5 weeks.

❤️ I'm so excited but because it took me 7 years to fall pregnant I'm also worried incase something will go wrong but now I've had my nhs scan I feel a bit less worried. Does the worry ever fully go?

I have a private gender scan booked for when I'm 17+2. It means my husband can come with me because he isn't allowed to the nhs one :(.

Congrats @Bethymae 🥳
Congratulations to everyone who has had their scans!
I definitely have a little bump and my boobs feel huge!
@motherofsnortpigs I've been getting terrible headaches as well.

Hope everyone is feeling good today! My morning sickness is back but it's slightly reassuring in a weird way letting me know the two little beans are doing ok. 🥰

I'm considering doing the 16 week private gender scan there is one near me that is only £45!

hollyjg · 17/05/2020 10:25

Welcome to everyone new as well! It's so lovely just reading through happy scan messages. Still can't believe there is a whole 2 and a half weeks till my next one 😣😣

hollyjg · 17/05/2020 10:35

Good luck to @Pinkhan135 and anyone else scanning today!

Teaandbiscuits123 · 17/05/2020 10:40

Good morning all! I hope everyone is doing ok. Sorry to hear some are still struggling with the sickness ☹️

My nausea has mostly gone, I’m just now getting some odd days and lots of headaches! I go to bed with one and wake up with it ☹️

I’ve also been feeling different around my pelvis/lower abdomen - it almost doesn’t feel as tight. It kind of feels pre-pregnancy. I’ve been trying not to worry about it and my logical explanation to myself is that my uterus has probably moved up a bit (will be 14wks tomo) but I’m still worrying - every time something changes I think I’ll probably be a nervous nelly!

Are there any other new or strange symptoms floating around for you guys? Xx

Snowwhite2020 · 17/05/2020 11:37

@peachypetite I’m still on a majorly restricted diet too due to so many food aversions. Haven’t had meat or fish in two months and most green vegetables/ salad make me sick. Anything from a chicken is the worst... yeah, pretty rubbish. No tea or coffee at all (previous coffee addict).

@kkr168 that’s really good you’re not being sick every day if there’s no running water in your house. We live in a flat and without running water I honestly think we would have had a health hazard problem with my pregnancy sickness 🤢 so grim.

Hope everyone has a good day. My headache is gone for now- yay!

peachypetite · 17/05/2020 12:08

@Snowwhite2020 what are vegetables lol!
I’m so sick of feeling sick and tired. I was absolutely shattered yesterday and slept in the middle of the day and almost 12 hours last night. I have had some toast this morning and I can recommend nesquik so that you’re getting calcium.

PipTed · 17/05/2020 12:16

Re: symptoms - is anyone else struggling to get out of bed in the morning? I’m getting 12 hours easily and napping too, mostly after eating.

Sickness seems to be a thing of the past since 9 weeks (12 weeks now), sorry for all those still dealing with it, I am struggling with headaches every now and then though.

I mentioned it before, but is anyone else struggling to eat a whole meal of food without feeling uncomfortably full after about 5 mouthfuls? My belly sticks out so much when it happens too; yesterday I had to take my tights off I was that uncomfortable! Confused

Snowwhite2020 · 17/05/2020 12:22

I know @Peachypetite it’s hard. I’ve been feeling very tired too and love an afternoon nap. We must be moving towards a point where things get a bit easier....... fingers crossed!!! 💕

Pe4nutsmum · 17/05/2020 12:26

@Bethymae how amazing are your scan. So cute to see baby develop.

My guess is a baby boy.

My scan is tomorrow at 3. I'm so nervous. I'm absolutely petrified somethings wrong.
I've been so sick this time, and it's all day everyday. Hopefully like everyone else it comes to and end soon.

hollyjg · 17/05/2020 12:30

Hey @PipTed I'm totally the same with meals I cook something my boyfriend wolfs down the whole thing and mine normally stays in the oven till I can bare a few bites!

I'm absolutely knackered all the time having an 8 month year old doesn't help much either!
In a wierd way I'm almost glad of lockdown as I'm not sure I'd have the energy to work!
Well done to all of you still working or working for home! ☺️☺️

Eskdale2004 · 17/05/2020 12:54

Yes to the feeling unusually full! I made chicken curry for tea last night and usually love it but it just tasted bland and not as good as it usually does. I left quite a bit of it too (which was hoovered you by the children 🤣)
Had a couple of waves of nausea today but so far so good. To be fair now it usually signals that I’m hungry and need to eat something.

ChampooPapi · 17/05/2020 12:59

@Pe4nutsmum mine is at 3 tomorrow too!

peachypetite · 17/05/2020 13:16

I haven’t cooked a proper meal in weeks!!

Eskdale2004 · 17/05/2020 13:19

@peachypetite to be honest we’ve pretty much lived off frozen pizza and takeaways 😳 just this last week where I’ve felt well enough to properly cook again.

Pe4nutsmum · 17/05/2020 13:32

@ChampooPapi aww thats so cool. We will need to post pics so I can see if mine looks similar to yours, as you know your having girls. (which is amazing by the way). I have two boys already. Would love this little peanut to be a girl but if its a boy I will still be over the moon, all I really want is a healthy baby xxx

hollyjg · 17/05/2020 13:41

Good luck @ChampooPapi 🥰😊👭

hollyjg · 17/05/2020 13:46

Good luck @Pe4nutsmum ☺️😊🥳

motherofsnortpigs · 17/05/2020 14:42

Good afternoon everyone. I totally get the not being able to eat a whole dinner, @PipTed I am a slow eater at the best of times, it is taking me a good hour to get some meals down.

@Teaandbiscuits123 on the weird symptoms front, I bring stabbing pains down below and ligament pain when sneezing or laughing to the table.

Looking forward to the scan updates tomorrow!

ChampooPapi · 17/05/2020 15:25

Thanks for the love people 💖

@motherofsnortpigs arhhh, the joys of the fanny dagger. I hope those don't start until later with this one for me, they can be really painful!

ChampooPapi · 17/05/2020 15:26

I can also report I'm eating fairly substantial meals now, plus snacks in-between. Lord I'm am going to be fat after all this 🤦

Teaandbiscuits123 · 17/05/2020 16:44

@ChampooPapi me too! My husband says I’m either eating, working (usually both at the same time) or sleeping! I might throw the occasional bit of knitting in there to mix things up!! 😂

Pinktruffle · 17/05/2020 17:16

@motherofsnortpigs I have been getting the wierd down below pains too. Either stabbing or quite sharp pains rather than cramping. It's good to know I'm not the only one! I'm 12+3. My scan is not till Friday, I feel like it's really dragging.
