Oh the boobs! They come before I do! What's weird is, sometimes they go really firm! There are a lot of blue boob veins too!

@RestorationInsanity your nearly there now, you'll be sitting afterwards with your partner before you know it beaning with happiness and all this anxiety will be over. Update us when you can 🥰💜

@skinnyhotchoc it's a terrible time, truly. We must NOT scrutinise though. That is dangerous territory. I started doing it earlier in the mirror and I nearly went down to 'the bad place' (this is the place where I think I need like every treatment or surgery in the world to look like an acceptable human 🙄). It's insanity I definitely know that, but perspective is hard to get when you are in this phase of pregnancy at the best of times self esteem wise. Let alone when there is very little you can do to maintain any of the things that matter to you or make you feel like YOU.

Whether that be exercise related, beauty related, socially related, hair related, or any of the miriad of things we all like doing for ourselves.

These times have made us all go to seed in one way or another and when we can do all the things we want or need to again, oh my god we will be so bloody happy and grateful for them.

But nothing will change the fact my partner has now seen me do my own upper lip hair removal in the good lighting in the hallway....he will never un see that 😭

Nothing happens to my boobs in pregnancy. I waited the whole pregnancy with my daughter expecting to suddenly get bigger boobs. Nope

@ChampooPapi thanks 😊 I'll be very relieved when it's all over. Will post an update when I'm done.

@ChampooPapi that place? I have a season ticket to that place lol. I'd have lots of surgery but my dh put his foot down after my tummy tuck as I'd already had boobs done and the tummy tuck was one of the worst experiences of my life and possibly his. Over scrutiny is the devil. It's weird because I always think everyone looks lovely, it's only me that I give such a hard time.

@EithneBlue do not let him cut it! Everyone will regret it. Just hang on in there another month I reckon you'll be able to sort it out. But I can see exactly why your tempted, my hair has also become huge as well and resembles a ridiculous wig!

@ChampooPapi ... could be worse: my mum, who lives alone, cut her own hair. It's almost not wonky... Luckily as a key worker, no one sees her 🤨😂

And think my milk has started to come in over the past few days as I’ve woken up with, dare I say it?!, (sorry if this is TMI) Crusty nipples. 😱

If anyone has any suggestions for any creams to help, I would be forever grateful.

See my boobs haven't grown at all! I'm a 30E so it's probably a good thing to be fair, but I wouldn't mind them getting a bit bigger after all the soreness I went through in the first trimester.

Are gel nails safe in pregnancy? I have a machine so I cam do them at home but have held off so far as I wasn't sure.

Speaking of boobs, anyone else got very dark nipples already?

My god my boobs have ballooned. I was busting out my 32F bra yesterday so now looking at maternity bras that cater for small back size and huge cups, they are so ugly! God knows what size they will be by the end of all this. I caught sight of myself on a zoom call yesterday and couldn’t believe how massive they looked. I am so grateful for the cotton maxi dresses I got in the sainsburys 25% off, I have a feeling I’ll be living in them this summer. I also feel a bit of a state, desperate for my eyebrow threading, hair cut, mani and pedi.

@Eskdale2004 yes my nipples and areola are now the same colour, and slightly darker! Strange what changes some get and others don't!

🙌🏻 So glad fake tan Is ok to use! I’ve been holding off as the book I have only refers to spray tans and advises against. But great that I can slap on my gradual tan, will definitely make me feel better!

Loving all the chat about our bodies changing!! I think my boobs have got marginally bigger but they definitely have the blue veins and my nipples have definitely changed. I'm still super bloated in the afternoons and when I saw a friend last night for a socially distanced walk she said she already thought I was pregnant... not sure if she was saying I'd put on a bit of weight on my middle haha but I did explain it's probably just bloating! Can't wait for our bumps to start showing and for us to start feeling flutters and movements!

On the plus side of the Frankenstein boobs and the who ate all the pies belly I must say my hair has really improved used to have to wash it every day to every second now almost getting the week out of it (don't worry I body shower inbetween)! booked my private gender scan for 18 weeks and my bf can come along. Scan day for me. Going to be a nerve-wracking wait as it’s not till this afternoon. Am I last to have their scan or are there more coming up next week?
