@skinnyhotchoc gorgeous little girl if say you have there 🌈🥰. Wonderful update, except the blood letting obviously! Good effort of getting them to do it, it'll make the results so much faster
@onlyreadingneverposting8 oh Lord the nurosis and the worry does creep back in that's for sure. But I know I need a few months break from those scan build ups, I found they turned me inside out and my brain totally turned against me on every level. The worry will never cease completely but it gets so much more manageable and more importantly logical! When the baby is actually born.
I got my screening results back for the twins which were 1/6000 and 1/1200 for down syndrome and 1/20,000 for the other two
Second twins one worried me, I mean why! I've had the nipt/harmony which has tested their actual dna, and the results were 1/10,000. But still the mind is evil.
Quick turn around on the results though as only had them Monday. Really impressed with torbay hospital, and they were fab with my first baby all those 10 years ago. My second was born at southmead in Bristol, because their maternity lead unit Cosham was closed due to all that snow around very early March 2018. They were fine too, but all very fast and hadn't been there for any pre labour tests or midwife appointments except the scans leading up to the birth.
I was told not to have the screening because I'd had the harmony, that's why I updated Monday to let everyone know you still needed it as this advise from my midwife was incorrect. Yes the 3 tri screenings should be disregarded, but the hgc and pap A are not tested at many Harmony tests so I obviously needed those and they do them all at once with the 3 abnormalities.
