Sorry for the TMI. Around 12+2, just wiped and had this. I’ve had light yellow mucus all the way through but not as thick as this. I keep trying to convince myself it has a pink tinge 😬 worrying at every little thing

@Moreybaby2020 congratulations on the scan! What a lovely picture😊 id lean more toward girl but no theory on that!

@MummyShark97 oh my goodness how sweet is that announcement photo, you guys are so cute🥰 when is your due date again?

@Babyhope98 huge congrats💖

@firstbabybell laughing at your jeans post, I put mine on on Friday and can confirm that is the last time I'll be wearing non-maternity jeans! It was not a comfortable experience😅

excitednerves · 18/05/2020 12:24

Thanks everyone who reassured me after my little bleed on Friday. I had my scan this morning and all is well! One happy wriggly baby! I cried in the scan. So embarrassing! They put me back a week so I’m now due 5th Dec and I have to relive week 11 ha ha! But I’m very happy!

@MummyShark97 that photo is stunning!

@Furbabymum15 so sorry to hear this I have felt your pain. I had three MC, two MMC one I started bleeding two weeks before the scan had a scan and it had no heartbeat at 7 weeks. The second I made it to my twelfth week measured 8 weeks no heartbeat, had to have a d&c. Third one miscarried a week after a positive test. I had the tests on NHS nothing came up, I was so worried I couldn't have kids. There is hope as today I have had a twelfth week scan and the baby is there and measuring well. I hope you don't have to go through any more like I did!! My doctor use to say the good news is you can get pregnant, hard to feel like that I know. It took be a while to get over my miscarriages, but you're not alone. Something I would recommend is getting a hair mineral test seeing if you have any metal toxicity or deficiencies, I did this after seeing an article online from a miscarriages charity Foresight. I had copper toxicity started taking zinc, I obviously cant say for certain this helped or I've just been lucky this time but worth a shot at around £70. All the best :-)

@Eskdale2004 - That photo just put me off my lunch! I don't really want to look all that closely but it looks normal to me. Ask your midwife if you're worried?

I just bought a bunch of maternity clothes in a bundle from ebay lots of used maternity clothes bundles on there if you don't mind pre-loved items. Dorothy Perkins also has a good sale at the moment. My 2 pairs of LoveLeggings arrived this morning I can say now that that was £30 very well spent and they do different lengths (petite maternity clothes aren't that easy to find, it seems -- and they're thick, so they aren't see-through and will be perfect into autumn). I also nabbed a pair of elastic waist shorts from New Look on next day delivery in preparation for the hot weather :)

ChampooPapi · 18/05/2020 12:31

@EithneBlue 😂

@excitednerves amazing news! Well down you, you got there and your out the other side lovely 😘 fantastic update! ✨👣

peachypetite · 18/05/2020 12:31

@EithneBlue I’ll check out love leggings I’m petite too! That’s such a good shout about ebay actually. Don’t want to spend a fortune.

ChampooPapi · 18/05/2020 12:32

@excitednerves and you get your 12 week scan in a week or so do you?

OP posts:
excitednerves · 18/05/2020 12:40

@champoopapi, no that’s it. Baby was big enough to date and do the NT measurement so now it’s 20 weeks for me - well I’m under consultant care so I might get a sneaky one in between if I’m lucky

roro87 · 18/05/2020 12:50

@Eskdale2004 I've had that a few times before and freaked out the first time and rang my doctor they assured me it was normal. But if you are worried contact your midwife

Eskdale2004 · 18/05/2020 12:58

@EithneBlue I’m so sorry! Completely forgot it was lunch time 😳

@roro87 thank you. I do remember having similar with my second daughter but at a later gestation!

lionsmum · 18/05/2020 13:29

@excitednerves beautiful scan pic, so glad everything went well for you🥰 I'm due the 6th Dec (for now) so we're very close in dates x

excitednerves · 18/05/2020 13:37

Oh brilliant @lionsmum, I have a due date buddy! Wooo!

firstbabybell · 18/05/2020 13:44

@babyhope98 congratulations!

Any health professional uttering that appalling phrase by way of comfort to a grieving woman following a MC should be hauled up in front of their professional body. Disgusting.

Wow, these babies are going to so loved! 🥰

skinnyhotchoc · 18/05/2020 14:30

@Eskdale2004 that looks like what I've had all the way through. I think it's fine as long as there's no odour

PipTed · 18/05/2020 15:32

@Eskdale2004 I’m 12 + 2 also and got something similar today. Assuming it’s just one of the gross pregnancy symptoms. I’ve been told to expect worse as we approach full term. Blush

skinnyhotchoc · 18/05/2020 15:38

@PipTed ye wait till you see the mucus plug 🙈🙈 🤢🤢

@champoopapi where are you? Back at the hosp?

Pe4nutsmum · 18/05/2020 17:10

Hey ladies.
A little up date. All went well. Measuring 11 weeks so need to go back in 10 days.

Midwife said everythibg looks exactly how it should at this stage.

Lol I think it has a weird shape head.

@ChampooPapi

So glad your scan went well and the girls are doing great. X

Snowwhite2020 · 18/05/2020 17:19

Congratulations @ChampooPapi and @Pe4nutsmum! Wonderful news- you must both be feeling over the moon 💕

I have a quick question- things are still pretty strict in Scotland as far as I can tell- regarding scans. We had a private scan at 11 weeks and everything was looking great with the baby but my husband was not allowed in (in fact private scans had only opened up again that week at all.) I know you know the relief!

I have my nhs scan coming up and my husband is very upset that once again he will not be able to see our baby (it is our first.)

Has anyone been for an nhs scan in Scotland and been able to video part of it? I think this would help...

Thanks girls 💖

hollyjg · 18/05/2020 17:29

Congrats @Pe4nutsmum @ChampooPapi and @excitednerves and anyone else who scanned sorry if I forgot I'm trying to catch up on all posts with a foggy pregnancy brain 🤪🥰

Loving all the announcements posts such a hard time to announce and not be around family but love hearing about the flowers etc.

We booked our private gender scan so excited to see what the two little beans will be 🥰
