How exciting @MummyBearBoo not long to go now! I’m envious that you’re craving healthy carrot sticks, I crave chocolate which is not nearly as good for me!

Hatepickinganame · 04/08/2020 06:47

Im absolutely exhausted, nearly 22 weeks and wondering how im gonna make it to 46 weeks at work 😂 need to slow myself down i think. @bumblebee413 on names, weve picked one. Its the only name weve both agreed on and i absolutely love it. Its perfect. Made the mistake of telling people... my mum decided to tell me its my cousins dogs name!

MummyBearBoo · 04/08/2020 09:29

I'm hungry all the time so I have chocolate too but I NEED carrot sticks!!!

Names we have two that we agree on but are waiting to see what baby looks like!! Xx

professorastrocat · 04/08/2020 14:13

I've never had any crazy cravings in either pregnancy...! Just in the early days needed lots of pasta to stop feeling sick.

Name wise we only really have one that we both like, but I'm still open minded to find another just in case 😬 middle name is harder though. And we've asked our little boy what names he likes and he keeps saying a name we would never use, probably not even as a middle name! 🙁

Hello Ladies. Just wanted to pop in and say hi. Skimmed through and seems we're all plodding on. Hope you're all well. @calimommy fantastic to see your name again! Congratulations! X

calimommy · 04/08/2020 21:05

@DPSawMyUsername thanks! Not much to report. In the first trimester, again. Trying not to think about it much tbh. Haven't booked my first scan yet. Wait and see!

Hhdxx · 06/08/2020 13:06

How is everyone! How quick is time going now?!?!?!?!?

DPSawMyUsername · 06/08/2020 19:45

Wish we still had paper records sometimes as you don't get to know anything now unless you ask! I asked what bump was measuring as I'm keeping well informed now for myself since I'm having growth monitored carefully.

MummyBearBoo · 07/08/2020 07:30

I get paper report after each scan with measurements on -next scan Tuesday then I've also gotta have an MRI next week at some point! Xxx

professorastrocat · 07/08/2020 08:14

Ah maybe I might do after my next scans then...3 weeks til next one now.

Went to get DD some shoes and the lady in the ship looked shocked when I told her I still had 9 weeks to go she asked if I was having twins!! cheek! I was so embarrassed to say no!! Xx

MummyBearBoo · 11/08/2020 09:55

@MummyBearBoo enjoy your scan!

I've just had my 28 week appointment and found out my fundal height it above the 97th centile... Does this mean my baby is gonna be huge haha

MummyBearBoo · 11/08/2020 16:16

Not necessarily my bump was over 95th percentile and measuring two weeks ahead but at my scan baby is 50th percentile- bump measurements are never accurate!! Xx

DPSawMyUsername · 14/08/2020 11:26

@Hhdxx my 27 week was 97th percentile, she never said anything that he maybe a giant so I've not worried. At least we know if they are, we're not alone 😄

Hatepickinganame · 14/08/2020 12:00

I think the general rule is if you measure big twice they will send you for a growth scan. I'm seeing midwife at 28 weeks to check how big i am, but will push for early growth scan due to previous giant baby and excess fluids. If it helps i gave birth to a 10lb 6oz monster with just gas and air 😂

Wise0wl · 15/08/2020 18:27

Hello all just checking in. How are you all doing in the heat? @Hatepickinganame 10lb 6oz is epic with just gas and air!

DPSawMyUsername · 15/08/2020 23:21

Ordered what's hopefully going to be my last bra before I can actually get fitted for a a couple towards the very end....

Size BIG. 😂 Proper tickled me today 😆

I am really sorry but will have to be leaving this group. My beautiful baby girl was born at 28 weeks and 2 days on Wednesday and sadly was taken from us on Thursday. She was absolutely perfect and words can't describe how much I love her. Unfortunately, my placenta abrupted and my poor baby had too much starvation to the brain. I feel numb and can't understand why this has happened.

I truly wish you all the best for the rest of your pregnancies. I don't know if this means I can't have children in the future, I just don't know. If anybody knows anything about this I would be really grateful.

I'm sorry to have to post sad news.

Hannah xxx

Wise0wl · 16/08/2020 09:09

Oh @Hhdxx I am so SO sorry. I can’t begin to understand what you’re going through but I hope someone might be able to tell you if there are longer term implications. This thread is full of wise women.

Sending you lots of love. Be kind to yourself and I hope you have a village of friends and family looking after you xxx

whatsthecraic91 · 16/08/2020 09:33

@Hhdxx Oh Hannah my heart is broken for you, I'm so sorry this happened to you. Please take care of yourself xxx

professorastrocat · 16/08/2020 09:34

Oh Hannah my heart aches for you. This is such sad news and I'm so sorry you're going through this, it is cruel that anyone should have to. Your daughter is perfect and will always be your daughter, never forgotten. I will keep you in my thoughts at the moment that I hope you're ok and have lots of love around you. I hope youve been told of lots of charities and support for you at this time, I know there are lots and I'm sure they also would have info and advice for you for any questions you have about the future.
