Ugh i finally get to sleep and I'm woken up by the little one punching, kicking and moving she's have some kind of rave in there!!! I'm laid on my side and i can still feel it inside and out!! Don't get me wrong I love feeling her move and kick but I struggle to sleep at the moment and she's punching and kicking pretty hard now!! Xx

professorastrocat · 08/06/2020 09:30

Aw oh dear @BooMamaBear it's nice but i guess not when you're trying to sleep. I'm grateful for an anterior placenta for that reason! 😆 to be honest I think that's where it is, I forgot to ask last week at the scan and they didn't tell me.

Hatepickinganame · 08/06/2020 10:56

Thanks @BooMamaBear im hoping it'll stay this size for a while and catch up with itself though 😂 hope you get a better night tonight!

Wise0wl · 08/06/2020 11:00

I think I’m feeling movements but I’m not entirely sure? I’m 16 + 5 and when I’m sitting/lying still every so often I feel a little wriggle. Is that mad/is it too early for a FTM? Initially I thought I was reading too much into it but it keeps happening.

Lola871 · 08/06/2020 11:31

Hey everyone, just checking in! A bit jealous of all the bumps, I don't have one yet at 17+3! My and are aching a lot though, especially after exercise so I think it'll kick in soon.

@Wise0wl I haven't felt any movements yet as a FTM but I have friends that think they have at 16 and even 15 weeks so it could be!

Bumblebee413 · 08/06/2020 17:37

If it's any reassurance @Lola871 mine has gone at 18 weeks Hmm Assuming it'll pretty turn up again at some point!! X

BooMamaBear · 08/06/2020 18:47

My bump started off as mainly water retention really early was fairly big but soft then it shrank and started growing again but firm at about 15 weeks now it's big and firm at 22 weeks!!!xxx

Hatepickinganame · 08/06/2020 21:31

Are you guys planning any fathers day gifts from the bump? Ive got my oh a little keyring with the scan photo on it. Wondering whether to get a card or just get him one from the rest of the tribe and add bump to it?

DPSawMyUsername · 08/06/2020 22:28

@Hatepickinganame He's getting nothing! I'll birth this baby in November and bloody well throw it at him 😂 He's actually just said to me "you're sniffling a lot lately, maybe it's just when you're at the side of me. It's starting to piss me off"

I nicely explained that nasal passages get messed up and that i blow my nose umpteen times a day and the majority of them end up with nose bleeds but I swear to God I'll sneeze right on him if he thinks he's got a right to be pissed off 😂😂

Hatepickinganame · 08/06/2020 22:31

@DPSawMyUsername id have thrown a toilet roll at him 😂 im the same though, my hayfever has been horrendous and im constantly sniffing/blowing my nose/sneezing... i didnt think pregnancy would have made it so much worse!

Piglet11 · 08/06/2020 23:30

😂😂 laughed out loud at that @DPSawMyUsername. I am so full of hsyfever/pregnancy do I’ve been exactly the same! DH has even gone to the spare room a couple of times this week 🙈

professorastrocat · 09/06/2020 08:07

Haha....@DPSawMyUsername that's harsh. My DP wouldn't have a leg to stand on though as he snores like a....big snorey beast

OP posts:
DPSawMyUsername · 09/06/2020 08:59

He knows he won't live it down for a few days now 😂 came to bed and our 2 cats were grooming each other. I loudly and sarcastically warned them not to sniff as it might wind some people up in the house.

I'll bet he makes the brews this morning too 😂

How we all feeling today ladies?

Piglet11 · 09/06/2020 09:20

Haha that is brilliant @DPSawMyUsername.

I’m doing ok. Absolutely terrified about my scan on Friday, will be 20+5 weeks. I have it in my head that if there is gonna be something wrong, if not with the babies, with me. I’ve been feeling really heavy in my vagina the last few days and my bump is so low so I’m scared that at the very least I will be told I have placenta previa. On the bright side I do seem to be getting quite a lot of kicks.

How are you?

Hatepickinganame · 09/06/2020 10:08

All good thanks, sickness has pretty much gone now, just the odd random bout. I no longer have to eat every two minutes so hopefully my weight gain will even itself out a little 😂 now if the peach would kindly get off my bladder so i could sleep for more than 3 hours id be perfect haha. Got all my screening results back yesterday, really low risk for Downs, Edwards and the other one. Just really looking forward to my next scan. Ill be exactly 19 weeks, which seems kinda early but its only 5 weeks away! Then I'll be booking a private one if my oh still isnt allowed in. I just cant wait to start buying things now!

How are you? And everyone else 😊

Hatepickinganame · 09/06/2020 10:09

@Piglet11 ah im sure all will be ok, its such a nerve wracking time though! Only a couple more days to wait!

BooMamaBear · 09/06/2020 10:09

I think e everyone gets anxious before the scan @Piglet also I'd you had placenta previa they round have seen this at the 12 weeks scan and the majority move if they cover the cervix - my SIL had this and it just meant an elective section a week before her EDD she said it was really chilled out as she had no contractions or anything! Hope everything goes ok anyway!

I've got DH a card with a pic of DD and scan picture from Funky pigeon but we were going to go out for a meal for Mother and Fathers Day once lockdown is over coz my DD is 4 so we've done all the token gifts and stuff in the past - Mugs, glasses, key rings, photo books etc xxx

professorastrocat · 09/06/2020 10:26

All the best for the scan @Piglet11 ! And good news all round @Hatepickinganame

I have no clue about Father's Day present- it's at the bottom of my long to do list haha!

MummyBearBoo · 09/06/2020 21:51

Is it just me @Needallthesleep you got pregnant around same time as me - I found out at about 17dpo so 4 weeks along then thinking I'd had a chemical as I thought my AF had just started late despite BFP as there was bleeding -doc told me to test a week later I was terrified all week even tho the bleeding stopped and when I tested the CB digital had moved on to 3+ weeks and the Frer was still strong -that seems such a long time ago!!! That was 18 weeks ago I got to go another 18 weeks yet before I get to 40 weeks!! It feels like it's gonna take ages!! Xx

Wise0wl · 09/06/2020 22:19

@MummyBearBoo has time sped up or slowed down for you at all? Right now time is flying by for me, I think 2020 is going to be over in a flash (not trying to wish my life away but this year hasn’t exactly been full of all the good news except our BFPs!)

MummyBearBoo · 10/06/2020 10:10

@Wise0wl - It's not dragging as much as the first 12w but coz I'm waiting a week and half to get to 24w as that's the viability age and just under 4w til my next scan it seems to be taking ages still!!
When I'm not pregnant or TTC time goes so fast!! Xxx

professorastrocat · 10/06/2020 19:34

Time has gone really loopy....and yeah the thought there is still 19 weeks until my due date seems aaages.

@Piglet11 when's your scan this week?

OP posts:
Piglet11 · 10/06/2020 19:52

Thanks everyone for your reassurance. I had a scare this afternoon where I got up off the couch and took a few steps and a MASSIVE gush. Checked and it was like water (definitely not urine). Phoned the matty and went in straight away. Had a physical exam where a lot more fluid came out but my cervix was closed and he was pretty sure it was discharge. They tried to arrange my scan for when I was in but they didn’t have the time to do the anomaly short notice so They just had a very quick Scan to check fluid levels which were perfect. I’m in ago. On Friday morning for the proper scan. Such a fright as didn’t realise it was possible to have such big gushes of folk artery discharge and it be normal.

How is everyone today?

Piglet11 · 10/06/2020 19:53

*watery

Wise0wl · 10/06/2020 20:01

Poor you @Piglet11 but glad they reassured you and you’re getting a scan!

Addicted to chocolate fingers over here but otherwise not too bad. Looking forward to scan on Sat and going to tell parents after!
