@professorastrocat thank you it was amazing! It's really calmed me down and I'm no longer sick/nauseated so it must have been anxiety!

Bumblebee413 · 26/05/2020 10:03

The non alcoholic pear ciders are such a treat Grin

DPSawMyUsername · 26/05/2020 12:40

Nice to see you @whatsthecraic91 Congrats!!

Love that we're at stages of scans flowing in and bumps popping out 😂 Can we have a bump check in soon? Lol

We've got private scan booked for Friday. Going to ring then first just to double check procedure of coming in and out and if DP can actually be there. I know some have been together in the room and others have watched it from behind a screen on another monitor 🤷🏻‍♀️

Had anyone started buying yet?

BooMamaBear · 26/05/2020 13:36

I've got my whooping cough jab tomorrow! Next scan 6 weeks today! I'm 20+2 xx

Hatepickinganame · 26/05/2020 13:45

My first scan is a week tomorrow 🤗 f

Hatepickinganame · 26/05/2020 13:46

Ah that posted too soon. It feels ages away still! @whatsthecraic91 glad your scan went well!!

professorastrocat · 26/05/2020 15:08

My 20 weeks scan is a week on Thursday. Finally feels a little closer but still long enough away! Still swaying between rational thinking about lack of feeling baby and worry. My thinking is placenta is likely to be blocking things...? I do feel baby kicking sometimes, just hardly.

Any thoughts as to why I'd have a phone appointment with midwife at 18 weeks? (Docs just rang me to book it). I've had my 16 weeks over the phone and 20 week scan is booked in and all tests have come back fine and low risk? 🤷🏻‍♀️

BooMamaBear · 26/05/2020 16:29

Sorry @DPSawMyUsername I didn't have an 18w midwife appt but I am consultant led and this is my second so that could be why? I'm sure it's nothing to worry about if everything was normal xx

DPSawMyUsername · 26/05/2020 16:34

@BooMamaBear I'm supposedly consultant led and this is my second. Thought I might have missed something. Find out soon enough lol

Needallthesleep · 26/05/2020 16:46

@DPSawMyUsername birth choices maybe? Are you having VBAC? Or ELCS?

@professorastrocat I’m the exact same as you. Only felt faint kicks so far, and they are only every couple of days. Do you remember when you felt kicks with your last one? I’m 19+1, and didn’t feel anything last time until 21 weeks. Which makes me feel better.

DPSawMyUsername · 26/05/2020 16:56

@Needallthesleep Oh that's a good shout! VBAC but ELCS booked in for whenever that's not too over lol.

professorastrocat · 26/05/2020 17:04

I don't remember actually @Needallthesleep ! Definitely later than this though. It's just as I had the fluttery movements for 2 days a good couple of weeks ago (I'm sure that's what it was!) and then it just stopped, then since just very sporadic every few days a random kick. And this being a second pregnancy. I'm sure it's fine. Perhaps we'll both just have chilled out babies (haha can wish!)

Needallthesleep · 26/05/2020 17:46

@professorastrocat ahh yes, we are having babies who just go to sleep when you pop them down, sleep through the night from the off, and don’t cry.

professorastrocat · 26/05/2020 18:52

😆 👶 😇

whatsthecraic91 · 26/05/2020 18:54

@DPSawMyUsername hi 👋🏼 congratulations to you too ❤️ I'm not going to start to buy until after 12 weeks I'm too afraid to buy anything before then!

@Hatepickinganame thank you! That's exciting! I got my 12 week scan date and I can't wait now its 25th June it seems miles away I'll be 12+4, hopefully it will fly by!

I have such a belly today!! I would say it's bloat tho and not baby I'm only 8+2 😆

Hatepickinganame · 26/05/2020 18:56

Ah @needallthesleep i want one of those too 😂😂😂😂 im starting to get nervous for the scan now. I hope the little apricot is ok in there!!

BooMamaBear · 26/05/2020 22:49

@professorastrocat -with my first I didn't feel kicks til 20 weeks - this time due to a posterior placenta I felt the first kick at 17 weeks at first they weren't every day tho i'd go a few day with nothing but since about 19w I get kicks every night if not every morning and night but it means that even though you don't need to check movement til 28 weeks if I don't get a kick one day I full on panic!!
The kicks should get more frequent soon so don't worry! I find that if I lay on my left fir a bit, have a sugary drink when I'm in bed then lay in my back and press on my bump she usually kicks! Xx

Needallthesleep · 27/05/2020 10:29

@Hatepickinganame don’t worry, as well as predicting baby sexes accurately my other skill is correctly predicting baby temperament. We are all having super relaxed babies.

professorastrocat · 27/05/2020 10:50

Yay! Thanks for your super predictions I will look forward to my chilled baby. Want to guess my baby's sex? We're finding out next week anyway....

Ahh I don’t want to break my streak! Because it is just pure guess work. But given it’s you guys...

@professorastrocat you’re having a girl (I think).

professorastrocat · 27/05/2020 16:28

Haha aw hopefully we won't break your streak then! If it's a boy we'll pretend all this never happened @Needallthesleep x
