Hi!
Just got my BFP this weekend.
I got my first faint positive Friday morning with an frer, and today it's much darker (11dpo)!

Leading up to my bfp, I've had icky feeling, tiredness, dizzy spells, headaches, cramps.
Not feeling as icky as with my last pregnancy yet though!
Provisional due date of 7th January using the NHS calculator.

@Popcat120 I have 2 FRERs being delivered today so I might do one of them in the morning along with my digi 🙂

@Milkshake54 yea I think I will tell her, she will cry likely 😓 I need to prepare myself 🤣

@Millshake54 I know you are right. I just feels so surreal to actually see two lines again this morning. Didn't even use any of the FRERs I have and just used and IC. Af was due on monday and I have just been feeling weird. I'm absolutely shattered, crampy and my boobs are feeling massive and really sore. I really hope this will work.

I also need to ring the gp to find out if I need my thyroid testing again. I have graves disease but have been controlled and off medication since jan 19. I last had my levels checked in March so I dont know if that is close enough or not

@Milkshake54 that's good to know. I think it might be easier to get hold of the midwife bec9she is holding the booking appointment virtually. So maybe could be able to do the same again if I needed more questions answered.

@whatsthecraic91 that's good. I might look into that. I was hoping partners might be allowed by the time 12 weeks came but it's not looking likely.

@ilovetrees30 congratulations! I can totally understand your anxiety. We have been trying for 3 and a half years too and this is our first BFP. I am absolutely terrified but keep trying to remind myself that as of this moment I am pregnant. Yeah, that's a good idea to get checked. My friend found it difficult to manage her thyroid in her first pregnancy.

@Trying2b I am to see 3+ next week too. Had my 2-3 the day I missed AF. I must have ovulated earlier.

Just booked an early scan for 2 weeks today. Eeeek. Really hope it isn't tempting fate, but I think I would rather know either way (struggling so much to focus on anything else!).

I've also booked one for 7+5...
My friend said they are letting partners, but our problem is if lockdown isn't lifted then we've noone to have DS... So he might not be able to come anyway!
Will have to see nearer the time.

@Trying2b my symptoms have definitely been coming and going. My boobs felt sore in a v different way from usual on Saturday but now completely back to normal! Iv been quite crampy since before my BFP and had a tiny bit of spotting today.... really not sure what's normal and what's not! Just keeping everything crossed that it all works out as we were trying for a very long time xx

@Mandy8885 oh really, it's good to know I'm not alone. How many weeks are you? This is my 3rd baby and I'm far more paranoid this time round than before. I was lucky enough to have 2 smooth pregnancies before and ignorance was complete bliss. Now, since MC, I'm totally nutty about it. Thought I'd be old hat by now, but apparently not! Wish you luck with your pregnancy xx

@Trying2b I am almost 5 weeks I think.... literally driving myself crazy symptom spotting! My lack of boob pain is worrying me but when I think rationally I know that everyone is different and it is early days! Fingers crossed for all of us ❤

@mandy8885 i have been the same, bbs soreness comes and goes it is making me paranoid!! Have had a weird/crampy stomach today, AF was actually due today so I am really hoping it doesn’t come even if I already have a BFP

My symptoms aren't so bad this time round, I just did post on it and all the ladies have said second time round symptoms are so much easier to deal with.
I feel fine, nausea is minimal, I'm just so tired, but then I do have a toddler too!

I think it's normal for symptoms to come and go!

@Mandy8885 I totally get the symptom spotting. I'm trying so hard not too but its definitely tricky. I've been really crampy this afternoon/evening and I keep trying to remind myself its a normal thing and doesn't mean its all going wrong. I think its really normal for symptoms to come and go.

@Cat028 I am glad its not just me with the anxiety. I am going to try and keep repeating to myself that I am pregnant right now and what will be will be.

@Popcat120 I wondered about getting a private scan but I dont know whether it would help or not.

@ilovetrees30 that's a very good way to think of it! From what I've read the cramps are completely normal unless they become properly painful 🤞🏼

Took another test this evening with no hold and it came up straight away! 14DPO today! My cramps are pretty much gone but my boobs are aching, I have new soft bras ordered as all mine are underwire!

@ilovetrees30 I think that's all we can do at this point. It's definitely going to be a long wait until the first scan.

Hi everyone ! Can I join ? Got my positive today. Got a bit of a shock only dtd one time had just decided to start trying. Very nervous getting lots of cramps and pains. Hope everyone is keeping well!!

Is anyone doing tests to check their progression? I am contemplating taking a test every other day? I dont know if its likely to cause me more anxiety or not as thats how I discovered my miscarriage was going to happen last time.

Woken up this morning absolutely starving with boobs feeling like lead weights. How is everyone else doing today?

@ilovetrees30 yes I am, like a crazy lady! I've checked line progression on FRER and Internet cheapies every day for a week and a few CB digitals thown in for good measure (and to check dates! ). I've got one CB digital left which I'll use next week to check I've gone to 3+ but I think that will be it. I'm happy to see the lines all getting stronger and I'm able to relax a bit now after MC last month. Its understandable to be anxious. It has reassured me to keep checking this week, but do what feels right for you x

I have been checking every other day too, line is definitely getting darker which is good. I only have frers and ICs though. For the CB digital, when it says 3+ weeks I wonder if that means since ovulation or since the last AF? My last AF was nearly a month ago so I wonder if it might be useful for me to get the digitals at this point.

I have a dodgy tummy this morning & I have the runs, it's scaring me a bit as I always get the runs before my period 😓😓

Hi ladies, got my BFP this week. Am due 7.1. Extremely anxious as had mc 4 weeks ago and one before that so almost waiting for it to happen again. Will def have early scan if I get to that point. Had tiny spotting just couple spots 3 days ago at 10 dpo. Praying for my rainbow 🌈 🙏. I am 40 so my clock is ticking. Have ds 14 & ds 3. Congrats everyone xx

@bluemonday2020 CB digi is since conception, very confusing the first time I used one 😂.

@whatsthecraic91 I also had a dodgy tummy yesterday and haven’t been as constipated as I was in my last pregnancy... I’m trying not to compare, particularly as that one ended in a loss!

@jaylou7 congratulations on your BFP. I know how hard it can be to relax after a loss, but try to take each day as it comes. Also praying for my 🌈!

Lovely to see some names I recognise in this thread!
Got my BFP yesterday.
Confirmed with couple more tests this morning.
Slept absolutely awful last night.
Not sure if it's the shock or excitement or sickness.
Started with very very sore nipples., tested last week was negative.
Then out the blue because sore nipples came back I retested and got a positive.
Not sure if I'm shocked, got heart burn, UTI, nausea or all of the above. Feel really tired like some of you mentioned.

Did strip test and cheapie yesterday and cheapie and cb today. Says 2-3 weeks like the lady above!!

Did 1 test yesterday and another this morning, I think I'll stop now.

Everyone thays booked an early scan are those places allowing your partner in too?
