Hi!
Just got my BFP this weekend.
I got my first faint positive Friday morning with an frer, and today it's much darker (11dpo)!

Leading up to my bfp, I've had icky feeling, tiredness, dizzy spells, headaches, cramps.
Not feeling as icky as with my last pregnancy yet though!
Provisional due date of 7th January using the NHS calculator.

Come and join once you've got your bfp for January 2021, for a few pregnancy pals!

@whatsthecraic91 I’m doing ok, feeling quite positive but also concerned about the lack of symptoms - never happy! How are you?

@whatsthecraic91 hey cycle 7 I caught I had a few months off trying wasn’t meant to be trying this month as was meant to be off to Mauritius but as that was cancelled we thought we might try and was best thing we did. It’s my first too and I’m due roughly same date as you so that’s exciting. That’s a strong clear blue 😊

Congratulations on all those with BFP x

@whatsthecraic91 you sound just like me. I am so paranoid. This is also my first after what seems like forever so I am terrified. All this being at home is not helping me take my mind off things either.

Can I also join? Congratulations to you all! I had two positive tests on Monday after we actually decided to stop trying last month after a year of no success. Edd is 2nd Jan (roughly as I have PCOS so only going on a average cycle that can often be anywhere between 35 and 50 days) and we also have a 4year old boy :) I had a missed miscarriage in May 2017 so I am terrified that I will get to the dating scan and there'll be no heartbeat like last time :(

Hi all,
I hope it's ok to join.
I got my BFP Monday and haven't stopped testing since as the lines are still fairly faint.
Calculator says I'm due 02/01/2021.
I had two miscarriages before my little girl who is now 20 months and another 2 miscarriages in a row late last year/beginning of this..so it's safe to say I'm very anxious! Both of those pregnancy's we told our parents straight away, so to be safe we are keeping it to ourselves untill we've had a scan...not sure how well that's going to go!
Xx

Hi all, hope I am ok to join? I got my BFP on Monday with my first after trying for around 6 months ish! I was a day late which isn't normal so went straight home to test and it was positive! I dont think it's really sunk in yet. Due 3rd Jan according to one of the calculators! I am a little anxious about the situation with coronavirus and DH not being able to come to scams etc. So I am just keeping my fingers crossed that restrictions get lifted a little bit by then.

@Cat028 I'm quite lucky as I am still in the office so I have that distraction but of course there is no work being done at the minute as I am just planning my maternity leave and looking up baby names 😂😂

Hope everyone is keeping well! And welcome to the new people congratulations!!

Boobs are absolutely killing me this morning but other than that I feel 100% no cramps so far 🙂 my FRERs should be here today so going to take another in the morning to see if my line is darker!

@Midge15 if you book a private scan you can bring your partner, I'm going to book one for when I'm about 8 weeks

Hello, can I tentatively join? I've had numerous bfps since last friday and its slowly sinking in.

EDD is 3rs Jan and this will be #2 although I've also had a MMC over a year a go.

I was I denial for a few days as it seemed so unlikely. I'm going to book a private scan for just before my 12 week scan of restrictions are still in place. Theres 1 place by me that's still letting in partners.

Hope everyone is doing well and feeling ok.

My DS is a dec baby so looks like its going to get more expensive.

Well done everyone. Can I join too? I got my bfp, this morning. I was a bit dubious as I had spotting and tmi (bleeding after sex last week) so thought my period was on the way. I came off the pill last June but we decided to see what my cycle was like and start trying in December. Then December came and my periods stopped!! I haven't had one since the beginning of December. I think I ovulated two weeks ago and so am 4 weeks today.
I 'm a key worker so think I need to tell my employer as I'm supposed to be working in a hub (school) in a few weeks. I don't know what they recommend. Should I not be in?

Also not feeling as terrible sicky wise as DS. I had that from way early on with him.
It's manageable so far.

Had 2 confirmed covid patients on my list today, had to tell another nurse I'm pregnant, and wanted to avoid.
My manager has to do a risk assessment but she's under the impression that I'm in full ppe so safe.
Were doing aerosol generating procedures though!!

Welcome everyone hope you are feeling okay and enjoying the excitement.

@Popcat120 that's good you've told someone now. Especially as you have confirmed patients. Stay safe!

@whatsthecraic91 that's good your managing to keep yourself distracted. I have been on Pinterest and getting nursery inspiration. ☺️

@Popcat120 try and stay positive!!

@Cactuslove I am dying to tell my mum and sister but I am waiting until I get a private scan at 8 weeks. I told my best friend yesterday as she is the only person that knows about our TTC struggle!

@Cat028 I'm also looking up hospitals, has anyone self referred? The unit I wanted to go to is closed due to covid, really don't know what to do now, if I should wait a couple of weeks or what? Or do you just tell your Gp?

I'm 4 + 3 today and starting to feel cramps, very much like af cramps. I had a loss at 5 weeks last year, I so don't want this to happen again :(

Afternoon all. Advice please!!

I'm 4 weeks pregnant today (have known for a week) and suddenly noticed that my boobs are not as sore as they have been. This usually happens just before my period - they just deflate! Has anybody else had symptoms that come and go? My pregnancy tests are getting stronger and my CB digital went from 1-2 to 2-3 today, so I'm confused and worried! Had a MC last month, really don't want this to happen again :(

Hi, hoping I can join. BFP last Friday, due date calculators predict 01.01.2021. This is baby number 2, my daughter is 3 so there is enough of a gap for me to have completely forgotten what being pregnant is like. Is it just me or does early pregnancy + lockdown = time moving incredibly slowly...I feel like three weeks should have gone by since I got the BFP and its less than ONE WEEK. ARGH.
My boobs are already bigger and have had cramping (which makes me freak out a bit). Other than that, it doesn't feel real. Really am trying to resist the temptation to keep testing everyday as a reassurance!

Its annoying that it wont let me post a picture, I've done it before and it's worked. I took another test this morning, another boots pink dye, the line came straight up again, it is slightly lighter than the first test but I think I didn't dip it as long so I'm not stressing, the difference is only slight. I haven't got any more tests now so as long as I don't get any bleeding I'll assume all is well. I haven't referred to midwifes yet i might leave it til next week . I've had nausea today and a headache
