Hi!
Just got my BFP this weekend.
I got my first faint positive Friday morning with an frer, and today it's much darker (11dpo)!

Leading up to my bfp, I've had icky feeling, tiredness, dizzy spells, headaches, cramps.
Not feeling as icky as with my last pregnancy yet though!
Provisional due date of 7th January using the NHS calculator.

@Jellybean252 Firstly Congratulations on your news. I was unsure if it was the pregnacare making me feel nausea or the morning sickness but since getting a pair of Sea Band Mamas in my local chemist this morning I literally feel like they have saved my life!

@Carabu1 our local private clinic aren't allowing partners either as I thought I'd do the same 😔

@BabyG123 a very poor form of contraception, No wonder people had such large families!

How are all you girls feeling?

I’m 5 weeks yesterday with my first after an early miscarriage in February! Woke with Period like cramps today and I’ve just noticed I’m bleeding...could it be my period again? I’ve had positive tests for 10 days my last one was Saturday.

Have you spoken to your midwife yet? I was told to expect a call back this week. I can't believe I'm pregnant yet I feel like I need a professional to confirm it!

@Jlw2020 sorry to hear your not feeling great.are you still getting the cramps? Sorry if tmi but is the bleeding clotting? And is it red?

@Jlw2020 I had a panic about spotting at the weekend and rang my local epu. They were fantastic, and brought me in for a scan today. May be worth calling if there’s on near you, or try your gp?

@Jellybean252 it's defo worth a try. I paid £9 for them today and it's lifted nearly all of the nausea today. Over this last few days I've been physically drained from it all and it's great to feel like I'm coming back to myself. No word from a midwife yet. When I spoke to my GP last Monday he said he would refer me that day so I'm hoping I hear something soon. I'm in Northern Ireland so I'm not sure for certain how they are going to book me in

Hi all, got my BFP at the weekend, due on 15th Jan.

If all goes well will be my second, my DS is going to turn 3 in a couple of weeks. Wanted to start TTC sooner but I got diagnosed with Hashimoto's thyroiditis just over a year ago and it's been a rollercoaster getting that sorted.

Massively excited to be pregnant again! Not feeling too sick yet (with DS I threw up basically every day for 9 months, usually twice a day!) so interested to know what will be the same and what will be different this time around...

Feel very blessed and excited for the adventures ahead! X

Just got my BFP today at 10DPO!! According to NHS calculations (due date) I'm due on my DS#2 birthday 😆

Hi everyone, I got my BFP today :D According to the NHS calculator, I am due on 18 Jan.
I'll be a first time mum and feeling so happy but also completely overwhelmed!

My sense of smell is ridiculous. I'm like a bloody sniffer dog 🤣 so strong!

Is anyone feeling a little disconnected to their pregnancy? I don't know if it's because I had a TFMR with my pregnancy before my DD who then came along as a complete surprise and I panicked the whole way through that maybe this time I'm trying to distance myself just in case somethings wrong at the scan or I just don't believe it yet as I have hardly any symptoms

Is it just me or is anyone else burping a lot?

It’s brown, like the start of my period. Did a test - positive, it’s light tho. I feel at the end of the week it’ll be a negative.

Hi ladies, sorry I went off in my own little world there for awhile. So I am 6 weeks today, think symptoms are slowly beginning to show. Exhausted today and feeling nauseous. Have a tummy that feels like it is full of acid and I feel so bloated. This is my second pregnancy, so I am afraid I will show really early! Never quite got back to my original size after DD.
@BabyG123 I echo you on the sense of smell!! Ridiculous!

@Jlw2020 brown could just b old blood, and it could just b your system clearing out.. try and stay positive to get a positive.

@FirstTimeMumAt31 mine was coming out the other way last week, was so in lady like. So glad it's calmed down now

@B**@Baba11 I find it just crazy how much your body changes in such a short space of time. I didn't even notice ANY kind of symptoms until my positive test and then it was like BAMMMM here some nausea, sore breasts, heartburn and a lot of wind 🤣

That is very true! The symptoms just come out of nowhere! In full swing aswell!!! I too have been very gassy

@Jlw2020 try not to worry, as someone up there said brown blood is old, and if you took that test late in the day then it could have been diluted. Everything crossed for you. 🤞🙏

Hello, I hope you don’t mind me joining! Have been trying for baby number 2 since December 2019 and got a BFP last week. Incredibly excited but also in a little bit of a disbelief (we have had 4 miscarriages), but my gut is telling me this one is here to stick. AF should have been due today so 14dpo and due date 19th January.

@Hopingfor2021 congrats! Those are some strong lines wohoo!!! So sorry to hear about your prev miscarriages, must have been hard. Were all your miscarriages early on? I had one miscarriage and that broke my hard, my heart goes out to you.
The strong lines are promising and I am sure this bean will stick around.
