Hi!
Just got my BFP this weekend.
I got my first faint positive Friday morning with an frer, and today it's much darker (11dpo)!

Leading up to my bfp, I've had icky feeling, tiredness, dizzy spells, headaches, cramps.
Not feeling as icky as with my last pregnancy yet though!
Provisional due date of 7th January using the NHS calculator.

Come and join once you've got your bfp for January 2021, for a few pregnancy pals!

I am approx 5 weeks 3 days, I took a clear blue digital today and it said 2-3 weeks. They say to add 1-2 weeks on top, do you think that adds up? Expected 3+

@SpacePug those tests can be notoriously inaccurate from what I’ve been told!

Baba11 · 07/05/2020 09:42

@SpacePug I'm glad I'm not the only one
Mine said 1-3 weeks and I was 4 weeks so that threw me
From what I'm reading you have to add 2 weeks on top yes

SpacePug · 07/05/2020 09:57

I mainly wanted to just see the word pregnant on it anyway as was still doubting myself lol just have to take each day as it comes

ChunkyButFunky87 · 07/05/2020 13:06

Anyone thoughts re telling people?

I don't like the thought of not telling Mum face to face but the government have just today extended those who are high risk and very high risk to stay in isolation until 30th June which will mean I'll be about 12 weeks. I don't like thought of waiting til then, think I'd want/need my mums support regardless before then should something happen.

ChunkyButFunky87 · 07/05/2020 13:07

Just to clarify my Mums very high risk not me!

Milkshake54 · 07/05/2020 13:24

I think tell her @ChunkyButFunky87 I’ve told my mum and need her during these early weeks to share my crazy anxieties with her!
If anything went wrong I’d need my mum to support me through it. 💓

Hey everyone! Nice to have a January 2021 group.

I'm currently 5+3 I think, that's judging by first day of my last period though. Found out last Monday with a faint line pregnancy test but then I've had a bit of a stressful time ever since.
Had brown spotting last Tuesday & Wednesday which then turned into a very light bleed Wednesday through to Sunday. Taken pregnancy tests since and the lines are definitely darkening but it has definitely really concerned me about this pregnancy - especially because it's the 1st time I've ever been pregnant!
Rang my GP and he had advised to ring him next week if I'm still concerned to look at getting me in for any early scan.

Anyone else ever experienced anything like this with previous or this pregnancy?

Nice to have a chat room with everyone now - wishing you all a happy and healthy 9 months 💓

Baba11 · 07/05/2020 15:33

@ChunkyButFunky87 we all need our mums, so I agree you should tell her

@Nannon145 congrats!
Brown spotting and a light bleed is ok I think, it's wen it becomes bright red and accompanied by cramps u need to worry hunni. Brown discharge is normally just old blood so hopefully it is just your system clearing out.
Try not to worry about it(easy to say) just try and enjoy it especially as it's your first

How is every1 feeling today?

Gemmalou36x · 07/05/2020 16:24

I’ve had spotting (brown) since Sunday night. No pains cramps or anything like that but every slight twinge makes me panic! I rang the doctor and she said to just rest and it can happen everyone’s bodies are different. Brown is normally old blood and a little bit of red can be okay too. I think If there’s a large amount and it’s very red and (sorry hate saying this) it has clots. But you just need to rest up!your body is changing a lot! Xx

Gemmalou36x · 07/05/2020 16:25

@Nannon145 the above reply was for you Hun sorry haha xx

Em39ma · 07/05/2020 16:40

Joining you all. Got my BPF this morning, so due around mid January.
My little girl is only 7 months (today) but I’m 41 so wanted to fall quickly because of my age.
We are staying with my parents because of lockdown so we will tell them tomorrow, as I get severe HG so can’t hide it.

Nannon145 · 07/05/2020 16:48

Thank you @Gemmalou36x, always reassuring knowing someone else is going through the same thing. Just the red blood that concerned me. It was very dark red but it did go on for about 3 days even though it was very light. I'm resting loads and the fact that it has stopped I've taken as a positive sign!

@Baba11 trying my hardest to stay as calm as I can be! Never wanted something so much ever!

XX

Anyone else who has ever had bleeding early on in previous or current pregnancies? I will be interested to hear stories xx

Hi everyone! Got a BFP on Tuesday. I have a 21 month old DD. A second one was always on the cards, but this was a complete surprise! I'm feeling nervous as this is actually my third pregnancy (my first ended in MMC at 12 weeks so I find the first trimester nerve racking!). Hope you're all doing ok!

Rocketcat287 · 07/05/2020 21:16

Hi everyone- congratulations! Glad to see so many in the same boat as me, it’s really nice being able to talk about it. Pending I get lucky this time round I’ll be due 12th January- already have nausea and I’m knackered, but seeing that as a positive! X

Cat158 · 07/05/2020 22:41

Hi everyone! Mine is predicted January 16th - had a BFP (and about 5 others, let's be honest) three days ago. I had a CP last month, so I'm a bit scared, but my Clearblue was really dark even on 12 dpo, so fingers crossed! This is my first pregnancy. I keep crying at stupid things (dropped a crisp on the floor earlier and it set me off) and my boobs hurt so much! Also so tired. It's so good to find a thread where everyone is in the same boat - it's such a relief Smile

HopefulRobertsons66202 · 07/05/2020 23:53

May I join? I just found out I'm pregnant! Got my blood work yesterday and it's official! First baby for me

Flatwhite32 · 08/05/2020 08:45

Hi @Cat158, my due date is the same as yours!

Littlebump2018 · 08/05/2020 09:00
