Hi!
Just got my BFP this weekend.
I got my first faint positive Friday morning with an frer, and today it's much darker (11dpo)!

Leading up to my bfp, I've had icky feeling, tiredness, dizzy spells, headaches, cramps.
Not feeling as icky as with my last pregnancy yet though!
Provisional due date of 7th January using the NHS calculator.

Come and join once you've got your bfp for January 2021, for a few pregnancy pals!

Yay a January group! My due date says jan 6th which I think will be spot on... third baby and oh my goodness ladies I never realised morning sickness could start so quickly!? So icky and tired, never noticed this 6 years ago with youngest. Feeling incredibly lazy :(

Hello all the lovely mamas!
I am completely new here, got my BFP on Saturday morning after trying for a year and being in the middle of PCOS diagnosis (the final tests had to be cancelled due to current COVID 19 situation), on Friday evening I agreed with my husband to stop trying due to current uncertainty and because I wanted to go back on the pill to help manage PCOS sympoms that have been driving me mad for the past year! Bring on Saturday morning, before taking my first oral contraceptive pill I decided to do a pregnancy test just as a 'end of an era' kind of thing to end this 'trying' chapter knowing that I am still not pregnant...I didn't even take the test seriously, while waiting for the test to work, I already popped the contraception pill thinking that there is no way I could be pregnant anyways, my cycles have been between 45-100 days and no ovulation has occured...I guess I was wrong because when I went back into bathroom, there it was - two lines! In disbelief I went to the pharmacy and got more pregnancy tests, they all have come back positive! I guess I am having a baby - a little Coronial! NHS due date calculator places me sometime between 23rd December and 11th of January due to my irregular cycles there is no way to tell!
Now all the things that I wrote off as 'lockdown craziness' start to make sense - I have been very nauseous for the past week just at the thought of meat although I have been a big carnivore all my life, now I cannot even look at a picture of meat! I wrote it off as 'must be because I am eating so much in lockdown'...And the occasional daytime napping out of tiredness I wrote off to 'surely this is because I am just bored an there is nothing better to do than nap more often..'. How is everyone getting on with getting antenatal care sorted? I am worried that the whole thing will be weird, currently they don't even allow dads in the scan appointments, very sad!

@sandraso that's so amazing! Similar to us actually, this was the month I drank, didn't take any vitamins etc I just accepted to give up for third and think about the future ... bam finally pregnant 😂 crazy how it works - congratulations !! Xx

sandraso · 04/05/2020 14:51

@shelly10111 haha, it is funny how things work out, congratulations to you too! Clearly meant to be! X

Hi everyone,

Got my BFP today. Been trying for 2 years and we were due to see a fertility specialist this week but it was cancelled due to covid.

I am honestly in shock as my “baby daddy” has low sperm count and motility. According to NHS my due date is 12 January 2020.

I took a Clear blue early detection and the line showed straight away!! I feel a bit crampy but reading all of your posts it seems normal!

Hi Guys!

Jumping on this thread!

We had our BFP last Friday, it was a complete shock - only 2 months since removal of coil!!

According to Pregnancy + my due date is around 4th January 2020 (4 days after my 27th birthday!!)

How is everyone feeling?!

Bexi87 · 06/05/2020 10:30

Hi all! Found out on monday we're expecting our 2nd child around 16th January 2021. My LG is 2yo and took almost 4 years of TTC but this one was first try - Big surprise! Shock. Last time I didn't feel any different except the urge to test on the day AF was due and then the morning (all day) sickness started at 5-15 weeks. Lost almost a stone due to it! This time I knew within days of the deed - I felt implantation, was extremely moody, sore boobs, windy, hungry all the time and craving salty food (particularly a bacon sarnie), then the all day nausea started on Sunday. Felt the same Monday so bought a test expecting BFN as af not due until this Saturday but there was the BFP!!! Today, nausea has really hit and I'm fighting the urge not to throw up! The thought of a bacon sarnie, or any food at all, makes me want to hurl :( Really hoping I'm not going to be as sick this time round because it scares me how sick I feel already at just 3 weeks. Exciting times though!

sandraso · 06/05/2020 11:03

@Bexy80 congratulations!! Hope the sickness passes X

Star1995 · 06/05/2020 11:16

According to when I last had a period and my most of the time 33day cycle I'll be due 9th January!!!

Fingers crossed it sticks!!

@Star1995 a line is a line girl - congratulations!!

Just to update all you lovely ladies who helped me through my panic about line progression last week - got my betas done this week. Monday 0830 they were 2937, Wednesday 0900 they were 6249. So doubled in 44 hours, which the internet tells me is fine. I think I am about 5 weeks today give or take a day. Relief!!! Fingers crossed now. Just for info in case it helps anyone, the pic attached is my frer at 21DPO, HCG 6249.

Hi ladies

Congrats to you all, may it be a joyful and successful 9 months for us all!

I am currently 18dpo and this is my 3rd baby. @Mandy8885
My first 2 pregnancies went well however I miscarried last year and now I'm petrified, 12 weeks can't come soon enough.

Af was due on Sunday, I did a cB digi on Friday and it only said 1-2 weeks. So is that from conception?! Was abit confused

I did have symptoms but the aches have subsided now. Not sure if that's a good thing I just feel so tired and lazy sometimes! Lockdown is obviously fuelling this.

I am also very gassy (sorry tmi)

I haven't done any testing after I got my positive as I am petrified!

I have been making smoothies for the morning and the evening, packed with nutrients to aid the pregnancy along.

It is so exciting to start this journey with you all. Xx

Bexi87 · 06/05/2020 15:22

@Baba11: congratulations! Yeah those ones are time since ovulation. I used that test and it threw me too as I hadn't bothered reading the instructions lol

ChunkyButFunky87 · 06/05/2020 20:28

Can I tag along! Got my BFP (or 3 Grin) today after 18 months. This is second child, due 8th January! Congrats all!

@Bexi87 thanks chick
@ChunkyButFunky87 congrats on your BFP! So exciting to make this journey with you all.

How are you all feeling?

ChunkyButFunky87 · 06/05/2020 22:12

Does anyone know if you join the Facebook group if your friends can see you've even joined it? I know it says only members can see posts but January 2021 kind of gives it away if people can see the group lol

MrsJoCov · 06/05/2020 22:14

Hello, I got my BFP today - not entirely sure when I'm due but I think I'm possibly 5 weeks today so maybe due around the 2nd Jan - sadly had a mmc a year ago today so feeling very nervous xx

whatsthecraic91 · 06/05/2020 22:14

@ChunkyButFunky87 no no one can see you have joined or see posts from it c

ChunkyButFunky87 · 06/05/2020 22:14

@Baba11 thank you! I'm good thanks, if this is anything like my daughters pregnancy I have about 2 weeks until sickness kicks in so I'm just going to hope it's no sooner - or maybe not at all would be nice lol not so easy to rest up and feel sorry for yourself with a 3 yo running around!

My best friend is pregnant too but she's had a loss previously and a bit up and down, so I don't want to say anything just yet until we get beyond 12 weeks but we'll be 3 weeks apart which is fab! Hoping all goes well x

Baba11 · 06/05/2020 22:35

@MrsJoCov congrats and welcome.
I know how u feel I'm nearly 5 weeks and also had a miscarriage last year so very nervous too

MrsJoCov · 06/05/2020 22:46

@Baba11 Congratulations to you too 😊 feeling really overwhelmed about it all as I just didn't expect it! But very happy 😃

Popcat120 · 07/05/2020 07:09

@ChunkyButFunky87. We've changed the name to lockdown girls, so not so obvious x

ChunkyButFunky87 · 07/05/2020 07:21

@Popcat120 ah I joined one saying in 2021 babies and it's still showing as that? I've panicked and come off lol I forgot to delete my details off the due list though so I'm now worried someone might see even though I'm not in the group Confused
