Another new thread! Reckon we can get all the scans into this one?

@LozEliza No idea what mine was. I don't recall the sonographer specifically mentioning it or seeing it in the notes. Just said everything was normal and let me listen to it.

HarrietM87 · 30/04/2020 16:54

@LozEliza I know it gets slower as the baby gets bigger and you can find the normal ranges for age on google (I checked after one of my early scans).

I think at 8 weeks mine was like 174 and at 11 weeks it was 160 or something?

FireflyGirl · 30/04/2020 17:15

@LozEliza I've had two scans with a heartbeat, and not been told what it was at either. I also didn't notice it on the screen today.

Congratulations @carrot88, what a lovely photo 💓

Pink15 · 30/04/2020 17:28

@Hancock2020 as a student I had a typing job where you'd be sent dictations of people talking and you had to type it out basically. All done from home!

Pink15 · 30/04/2020 17:29

I signed up via an online company

HarrietM87 · 30/04/2020 17:33

@Hancock2020 if you can sew there is a huge market for reusable masks atm! I think I just got totally ripped off on Etsy but the pattern was nice 🤣

Mn345678 · 30/04/2020 17:39

I've been feeling so sick.. Im 12 weeks and 4 days... I thought it would slowly subside but the last two days have been horrendous. I threw up for the first time yesterday. Not nice!.... Im happy though as my scan was all good. However... husband wasn't allowed for out first ever scan :( ...he had to wait outside the hospital..... the person doing the scanning was nice and let me FaceTime him.

Mn345678 · 30/04/2020 18:03

I went for my scan on Monday and DH wasn't allowed in :( ... first child too... There were women in pain who came into the hospital and had to leave their husbands behind until they were checked by midwives and confirmed to be in labour... then the husband was let in. Hard times!

I did FaceTime him though!

futuredreams · 30/04/2020 18:41

Had scan. All went well. Can’t actually believe it. Measuring 13+3!

Mn345678 · 30/04/2020 19:36

@futuredreams congratulations! im a day ahead of you :))) You must be due Nov 7?

futuredreams · 30/04/2020 19:39

@Mn345678. They said the 3rd of November according to my dates and measurements?

futuredreams · 30/04/2020 19:39

@Mn345678 oh and congrats!!!

BuffaloCauliflower · 30/04/2020 20:13

Congrats to all those who had positive scans today.

@mrsAndeke so sorry to hear your sad news. I hope you have support x

Pink15 · 30/04/2020 20:57

Keep the scan pics coming 😍 such good motivation haha counting down the days until mine!

Jay0512 · 30/04/2020 21:59

Also had scan today, thought we were 12+4 but actually 13+1 so due date now 4th November :) Heart rate was 150 something and NT 1.7. Now eager to find out gender! Can’t tell at all from the scan pic! (Been googling nub theory haha).

@LozEliza my measurements are in my notes too, could you check them if you have them?

futuredreams · 01/05/2020 07:03

Everyone’s scans look so clear. Mine is so grainy 😞 still happy tho.

Anon87 · 01/05/2020 07:49

Got my scan this morning. I have no reason whatsoever to believe anything will be wrong. I've seen this baby wriggle at 8+5 already. You just can't help but worry can you?

I wish I was a bit more naive and oblivious like my 18 year old self getting pregnant. Age eh? 🤷🏻‍♀️

LozEliza · 01/05/2020 07:49

Thanks for the responses everyone. Seems they tell some people and not others maybe it just depends who you get. I'll be sure to ask next time. We're thinking of booking a private gender scan soon so DH can come along. Our local private centre is offering a plus 1 but they aren't offering the 'gender reveal package' at the moment (with the balloon/confetti cannon) which I really wanted :(. I know some people aren't keen on that sort of thing but I love the idea of finding out at the same time as all our family

Is anyone else feeling so much better symptom wise now they're past 12 weeks? I feel as though I'm well on the way to getting back to myself.

burntpinky · 01/05/2020 07:53

Not posted for a while but had scan Weds and all good, put me forward 6 days so now due 1 November. Also NIPT tests came back all 1 in a million chance in the trisomies and we are having another boy

BabyKnighty1 · 01/05/2020 08:11

@LozEliza feeling pretty good in general and sitting at 12+3 but had a few bad days lately with bad headaches arrggggghh

BuffaloCauliflower · 01/05/2020 08:18

I hear you @Anon87, saw mine happily wobbling around lady week, I’m sure I’ll be worried again for the next scan (a week to go!)

Great news @burntpinkySmile

Sls668 · 01/05/2020 08:39

@LozEliza I’m feeling incredible compared to the past 9 or so weeks! This week has been a real turning point. Generally I’ll feel good for 3 days (although still feeling sleepy by about 5pm) then have a bit of an exhausted day but I’m more than happy with that!
I feel like I’m eating much better too although I’m still mostly tempted by beige foods, at least I can get fruit and veg in around it without feeling like I’ll vom everywhere!

rainbows20 · 01/05/2020 08:50

Good morning ladies.

Hope everyone is well. I just wondered if any of you have been experiencing heart palpitations / flutters? I've had them for the past two days and not sure if it's anything to worry about or notConfused

AnxiousLady1 · 01/05/2020 08:58

@BabyKnighty1 I'm 12+5 and have had the and headaches last couple of days also. I was feeling much better until then. Took myself to bed before dinner with a migraine a couple of nights ago. And last night felt okay until after dinner when a headache kicked in again. I've read it's common around this time.

@rainbows20 I've had heart flutters off and on since about week 7. I asked my midwife about it at the booking appointment and she said if I wasn't getting chest pains it's normal. Said there's a lot of increased blood flow going on in there and that's usually what causes the flutters.

Jay0512 · 01/05/2020 09:24

@LozEliza feeling much better the last week or so! Glad the nausea has passed x
