@NoseringGirl thank you for all the information! It’s good to hear from others with PCOS, I don’t feel so alone Smile I do think you might be right about being considered low risk again if I don’t get it. A couple of my friends have had it and they don't have PCOS so I’m not too worried! That’s the one, I had the hba1c test! All she said really was expect a letter from the consultant but she didn’t realise that PCOS was considered high risk she was baffled Grin so who knows!

teaandtantrums90 · 29/04/2020 21:11

Oops typo @littlegem84 pls can you add me, I'll add you as a friend now xx

Tonicandgin · 29/04/2020 21:13

Weird feeling at the moment, felt what felt like movement which is impossible! If I hadn't had 2 babies before I wouldn't have known what if felt like - I'd swear it felt just like movement! Anyone else had it?!

Also I'm having a bit of a dull ache really low down? Has anyone had this?

It feels like I felt at a much later stage when the baby was sat on my pelvis.

jeleigh · 29/04/2020 21:32

@Tonicandgin I haven’t a clue what movements feel like as this is my first, and I’m only 13 weeks but I swear I can feel a lot going on exactly where I was being scanned yesterday. It’s like an achey pain but it comes and goes so often throughout the day that I don’t feel like it’s my uterus stretching. Maybe I’m just imagining things 😂

Spoons1987 · 29/04/2020 21:33

@Tonicandgin how many weeks are you now? I’ve had quite a few occasions which I swear feel like movement and I’m only 9.5 weeks, so I know it’s not possible and I sound crazy. But it really is in the right place and feels exactly like it...!

I’ve also felt a heavy, aching feeling the last few days. It’s had me a bit worried but I keep reminding myself that when you’ve had a baby before all the ligaments and muscles are more lax and so they’re bound to ache more and feel ‘heavier’.

Pizzamyhart · 29/04/2020 21:36

@littlegem84 I've added you on Facebook can I be added to he FB group please x

SqidgeBum · 29/04/2020 21:38

@Tonicandgin I am 13 weeks on DC2, and I have definitely felt little pops of movement back as far as 11.5 weeks. I thought I was imagining it, but each evening it was the same feeling in the same place. I am aware how mad it sounds, but its what I felt.

ACatCalledLola · 29/04/2020 21:58

@Tonicandgin I’m 12+4 and I’m convinced I’ve been feeling something for the last few days. It’s dc3 so I know what I’m looking for and it’s always in the same place on the lower right hand side. Of course it could be wind but it’s so localised that I wonder if it’s movement. It does feel like it. First felt dd1 at 20 weeks and dd2 at 18 weeks.

HarrietM87 · 29/04/2020 22:28

I’m sure I can feel movement too! I felt DS at 18 weeks but when I did I realised I’d prob felt fainter versions of the same thing earlier and didn’t know. I’m 12+3 now and apparently baby is the size of a kiwi which is fairly big really...I don’t think it’s impossible!

Spoons1987 · 29/04/2020 22:34

I think at 11+ weeks it’s very feasible to be feeling movements and so lovely for you all! Feisty babies! Would love to have a scan when the ‘movements’ happen to see if there’s any truth in what I feel, but I think at this point it’s very unlikely.

lockdownbirthdayhelp · 29/04/2020 22:41

I was on this thread under another name and now can't remember it to switch back Grin

10 weeks today. Anyone else suffering from constipation? It's making me feel horrible.

Also how much weight has everyone gained so far?

I've not gained any (maybe even lost 1 or 2lbs), I am overweight though so I assume that's fine?

Becca65 · 29/04/2020 22:46

Have you been feeling rough or eating normally?
I seem to have but on about 5 pounds and am 12 weeks, hoping it's not because I'm no longer on my feet all day at work and now just on my bum!
I've not been nauseous, but just a bit repulsed by eating anything, so it might just be the bloat I have (which is bad all day and then like a giant, uncomfortable football by about 5 o'clock!)

lockdownbirthdayhelp · 29/04/2020 22:48

@Becca65 i was feeling really rough for a couple of weeks but think I've been eating normally for a week or 2 now - I'm not letting myself go hungry.
Obviously no lunches out or alcohol helps.
My stomach is definitely bloated, I think that's constipation though.
I didn't show until about 18 weeks with ds.

OhHuck · 30/04/2020 00:19

Wow these threads sure move fast! I think I posted on 2 or 3.. Shock feels like the other day!

I am 12+5 (if I've guessed it right. Have PCOS so periods are a bit all over the place), have my scan early in the morning and I am so nervous I can't sleep. Currently tossing and turning, and distracting myself from the nausea. REALLY hoping it eases now am past my 13 week mark.

My GP is reluctant to prescribe me any more tablets, I've tried 3 different kinds and none have significantly helped. Funnily the only thing which I feel has helped me a bit is chewing on fennel seeds whenever I've felt nauseous. It's crazy!

Will check in tomorrow after scan!

SMcG1 · 30/04/2020 06:02

@60sPony my due date was moved to 28th October after my scan so I’m glad I’m not the only one!

novicettc · 30/04/2020 06:42

@OhHuck my scan is this morning too! According to my dates I'm 13 weeks today but will see what they say. Best of luck!! We've got this :-)

futuredreams · 30/04/2020 06:58

@Novicettc me too! But mines late in the day. Good luck. According to my dates I should be 13,3 but I have a feeling if things go to plan I’ll maybe measure 13 exactly.

BabyKnighty1 · 30/04/2020 07:15

Had my scan! Came back exact with my dates I think so 12 weeks exactly. The baby was moving so much which was good! Had a bit of an issue trying to get the NT measurement, I had to move around a lot and go for a little bit of a walk, finally 30mins later got the measurement. I got 9 photos printed out and a USB stick with more photos and a few videos! Crazy to see a little baby moving around and really wish my partner was there to see it.

excitednerves · 30/04/2020 07:33

Good luck today @OhHuck

I can’t keep up either but so lovely to scroll through and see all the scan pics!

excitednerves · 30/04/2020 07:37

Good luck @novicettc and @futuredreams

Brilliant news @BabyKnighty1 but shame about your partner. Glad everything is ok, that’s the most important thing

mrsAndeke · 30/04/2020 07:54

With being at home with nothing to do I realised my anxiety has been going through the roof, now I've only got two weeks till my nhs scan but I have booked a private on for this morning so my husband can come too! I am so excited to see my sesame!

Natopp · 30/04/2020 08:23

@BabyKnighty1 Congratulations! Did you bring the USB or can they provide one there? Do they charge a fee?

BabyKnighty1 · 30/04/2020 08:28

@natopp no they supplied it and no fee but we do pay about £30 per scan every time. I’m based in New Zealand but not even sure if it’s a normal thing or just a covid 19 thing giving out the USB!

Fouryearslater · 30/04/2020 08:31

@lockdownbirthdayhelp I’ve had horrendous constipation because of the anti sickness tablets. I’m popping so many pills right now!
