@MrsCl19 aww how cute Alfie looks in his hat and stocking.

@BabyB19 I can’t believe Blake’s 4 months already she’s beautiful. I can’t believe how quickly that’s gone.

@ceebee21 how you getting on?

I’m 37+3 I’ve started getting strong braxton hicks but I know that doesn’t mean anything. Just a waiting game now. I’m on leave now until maternity leave starts on 4th jan so trying to relax and enjoy being off xx

ceebee21 · 19/12/2020 21:16

@Jonesbabynumber1 all good here thanks, just enjoying the newborn bubble. Still in some pain from stitches but nothing horrendous.

Thanks @BabyB19, I definitely cant complain about the birth, I was just so worried OH wouldn't make it,but also think that took the focus off the pain lol.

Xx

Hi everyone, hope you all had a lovely Christmas all the best for the new year. Any cute Christmas outfits to share?
@Jonesbabynumber1 how are you doing? Any signs yet? Xx

OP posts:
BabyB19 · 27/12/2020 09:22

Couple of Christmas outfits, she had her needles on 23rd and wasn't too good after them this time so it's been quite overwhelming having that and Christmas and then yesterday so many new toys so she slept 4:30pm yesterday until 7am this morning! Only woke once for a bottle about 8pm. She must have been absolutely exhausted from it all bless her xx

Ah @BabyB19 so cute.

We had a good Christmas thank you, just all rubbish now as we are in tier 4, so just chilling out at home.

I'm a bit down at the moment as I'm pretty sure I have some kind of prolapse; I can just feel something down there which resembles a tampon feeling like its hanging out slightly and everything I have googled suggests a prolapse. I know I need to go to the GP but also scared at the thought of them confirming it Blush

MrsCl19 · 30/12/2020 05:30

@BabyB19 she's so lovely!

@ceebee21 do you
Do your pelvic floors? I'm sure this is all they advise? But don't quote me I could be wrong!

We've had a lovely lazy Christmas! I'm trying to really cut down on crap because I'm 2 stone heavier than prepregnancy and it's really getting to me. I don't cope well with extra weight makes me feel rubbish so I'm on it after Christmas

ceebee21 · 30/12/2020 21:47

@MrsCl19 yes have been doing them since the birth, and I have heard similar. But I guess best to go to the doctors to firstly confirm, then find out to what extend and what is needed! X

MrsCl19 · 31/12/2020 05:42

@ceebee21 good plan they may send you to a specialist.. not sure if you watch fern McCann first time mum but she did similar because she kept wetting herself.

Jonesbabynumber1 · 03/01/2021 19:50

Hi all, loving the baby photo can’t believe how quick they are growing. @ceebee21 please get checked don’t chance it, we know when our bodies aren’t right. I’m currently 39+4 and can honestly say the wait is a killer it reminds me of the time at the start with the symptom spotting but it lasting forever plus feels like everyone and their dog are eager to here news. Luckily Christmas and new year has been a good distraction but OH back to work tomorrow! Hopefully I’ll have news to share soon but at moment it’s just a waiting game.

MrsCl19 · 03/01/2021 20:11

Eeeeeee @Jonesbabynumber1 !!! So close! Can't wait till you pop up with your news!

BabyB19 · 04/01/2021 15:15

Oh my god I can't believe the last little piece of our puzzles nearly complete!! How are you feeling are you all prepared. I know everyone says it and it pissed me off so much at the end but honestly my advice would be to rest rest rest, even if you can't sleep, enjoy the quiet and the sitting down and the drinking a hot cup of tea and eating your tea with both hands @Jonesbabynumber1 while you can ❤️

Hi all, 40 + 3 and still pregnant but bit of drama. I had my 40 week appointment with a different midwife as mine was on leave and she thought baby’s positioning wasn’t right. I had a scan next day and baby definitely breech. I will had a shocking experience with doctor and consultant very dismissive and at first did not help with managing my anxiety about the risks of going into labour with a breech baby. I would have thought I would need a C/S ASAP being so late into pregnancy but not the case apparently. I was at the hospital a few hours fighting for an outcome, they eventually did an internal exam as I was worried my body was preparing for labour, but cervix was high and closed so that was reassuring. I am now booked in for ECV Monday to see if baby can be turned but I’m not hopeful and if not it will be c-section Tuesday. To was a massive emotional rollercoaster going from low risk pregnancy all the way through to now being high risk and possible c/s but scan showed baby happy and healthy and that’s the main thing. I’ll let you know how it goes Monday but could potentially be meeting baby jones Tuesday xx

BabyB19 · 09/01/2021 21:05

Hi @Jonesbabynumber1 sorry you've had this stress right at the end!
My friend had the same things and they did turn the baby and she had a natural birth so don't write it off, she did say the procedure was very uncomfortable but it was worth it so hang in there you might not need a section and even if you do then so be it as long as little one gets here safe and sound 💖 keep us posted as and when you can, can't wait for he announcement xx

How's motherhood going @ceebee21 xx

@BabyB19 I'm like a different person this time! It's actually made me so emotional because I feel like pnd robbed me of my daughters first year 🥺 but I'm cherishing every minute this time! How are you doing??

Quick picture of my little one who's growing very fast

@BabyB19 I was thinking the same!!! How exciting

Jonesbabynumber1 · 15/01/2021 05:03

Sorry guys been a rollercoaster of emotions. I went for ECV which failed and had planned c section on Tuesday. So I can finally introduce Adalyn Rosa Jones born weighing 7.8lbs. I can’t believe it’s a girl and can’t get over the overwhelming love I have for her. It’s just absolutely magical. The c section was fine but recovery hard as I had low blood count and now have low iron from surgery and obviously trying to let my body recover. Discharged after 24 hours was also mind blowing but I couldn’t wait to get home to the safety of my husband. Who has been amazing. Here she is

Omg @Jonesbabynumber1 how amazing! She is beautiful I can't believe we all finally have our babies! Congratulations.
Isn't it just incredible how much you love her already, and that only grows every day!
Be careful with those medical issues you have as I had the same and I was really really poorly for two weeks after having her, I was silly and didn't get medical help because it would have meant leaving Blake and I couldn't bring myself too but it resulted in a terrible two weeks where without being dramatic I did think I was going to die 😭🤣 so make sure you are getting the right care 💖
