Hi @Pippop21 aww thanks for thinking of me. I sadly passed it in the evening.
Only positive is that it was quick and pretty pain free. I done a pregnancy test this morning and it was barely visible so I’ve stopped all medication now and cancelled my scan. I’m gutted but because my IVF journey is over now, I’m kind of at peace with the fact we tried our hardest but it just wasn’t meant to be xxx

JustFrigginNameChange · 06/04/2020 16:27

Hi everyone! Another due date of 27/11 here, which my 5 year old DD's birthday! Of all the days of the year Grin

Symptom wise I have the sore boobs, which is a struggle when DD1 is in a bouncy mood! I have constant underlying nausea which is made worse when I'm hungry. Oh and I'm eating so much more now, it's getting on my nerves! I keep trying to exercise to keep balanced but it's difficult when you can't go out anywhere and live in a flat above people who don't really appreciate your treadmill Grin

I've not told anyone yet, only the father. We are not properly together but he is excited and is making plans which reassures me lots Smile

I have my first albeit over the phone antenatal appointment on the 13th. My question is how do they do the blood and urine tests?! I would hate for anything serious to be missed!

JustFrigginNameChange · 06/04/2020 16:43

@Mctm123 I've RTFT now sorry about what has happened Sad i feel bad for posting underneath your post without reading the thread fully

Mctm123 · 06/04/2020 16:47

@just aww don’t worry!! Good luck with everything 😊

Elles1980 · 06/04/2020 17:08

@Mctm123 I'm so so sorry for you 💔😔. Sending massive hugs your way xxx

Mctm123 · 06/04/2020 17:17

Thanks @Elles1980 xxx

GillianHolroyd · 06/04/2020 19:24

Oh @Mctm123 I’m so sorry for your loss, it’s fucking heartbreaking- we’re all sending such big hugs, I know many of us have sat where you are and I wish no one ever had to deal with it xxx I hope you get the space and time to heal. Please be gentle with yourself, I don’t know what else to say xxxxxx ❤️❤️❤️

Mctm123 · 06/04/2020 19:34

Thanks @Gillian I feel surprisingly ok but maybe I’m just getting on with it for now cos I have to be strong around my little boy. I think the difference this time is knowing there’s no more ivf treatment to come, no more medication, no more hospital appointments, I kind of feel relieved that that part of my life is over. But, same time, the dream for a sibling for my little boy seems virtually impossible now and that’s so upsetting. We have come so close each time. I wanna make as many fun plans for our future as a family of 3 because now nothing needs to hold us back xxx

Pinecone88 · 06/04/2020 19:48

@Mctm123 So sorry for your loss 😔
You do seem strong which is admiring.

Mctm123 · 06/04/2020 20:05

Thanks @Pinecone88 it must be because it’s happened 3 times. The more it happens, the more stronger you get? Who knows. I also just try to be thankful that I already have a child. I dread the thought of what I would do without him. Little ones are definitely the best medicine xx

GillianHolroyd · 06/04/2020 21:49

@Mctm123 yes, that’s true - little people have a habit of making you very grateful for them - they’re quite incredible and have a great talent for enjoying the smallest things in life - it’s fabulous and infectious xxx Time for your tremendous family of three to kick back and have some much needed fun together xxxxx😘😘

ChampooPapi · 07/04/2020 08:18

@Mctm123 you are so strong and being as brave as you are is going to get you through this, but don't be afraid to let yourself grieve, it is really hard. All the best to you 🌻

KrissyMB · 07/04/2020 09:41

@Pinecone88 @GillianHolroyd I've ordered some sea sick wrist bands and getting them today so I'll let you know how they are! I also can't stomach Ginger! Weirdly vinegar seemed to work a bit yesterday - pickled onions and cabbage! @Elles1980 good luck today xx

KrissyMB · 07/04/2020 09:43

@Mctm123 I'm so sorry for your news. You seem like a very strong lady! Take some time for yourself and I hope you are okay xxx

ChampooPapi · 07/04/2020 09:52

@KrissyMB vinegar and salt on chips are everything ! Just go potato mad, its not forever, I have eaten a chip butty for dinner twice in a row now. And I'm very heathy vegatarian at the best of times, but those carbs keep you sustained and do help the sickness abate even for just an hour.

I'm in bed currently waiting on another butty 😆

Thank God my partner is here this time around, every other time he's been away for work and it has been a struggle, I remember watching a lot of coach trip!

Mctm123 · 07/04/2020 11:21

@GillianHolroyd @KrissyMB @ChampooPapi thank you all for your lovely, kind words, it really means a lot xxx

Pinecone88 · 07/04/2020 11:55

I had my 7 week scan today and all looks good 🙂
Nurse said that 12 week scans are getting cancelled so I'll see, it's still a while away.

peachypetite · 07/04/2020 11:59

@Pinecone88 assuming that was private?

Pinecone88 · 07/04/2020 12:03

@peachypetite No, it's IVF baby, so we get an early scan.

peachypetite · 07/04/2020 13:56

@Pinecone88 ah I see! Glad it looked well :)

JustFrigginNameChange · 07/04/2020 15:54

I have my first antenatal appointment next Tuesday and they're asking me to come in for bloods a few days after. Is that just to minimise exposure? Doesn't make much sense to me.

EithneBlue · 07/04/2020 16:33

@JustFrigginNameChange That's similar to me: the first appointment takes 1.5-2 hours apparently but they'll do that by phone at 8+6 then call me in for bloods - it takes 5-10 mins to grab some blood :-) Probably to do with both staff management and exposure :-)

Pippop21 · 07/04/2020 19:57

Anyone else starving but have no appetite? Like nothing is appealing to me at all!! 😭 been loving off toast haha

peachypetite · 07/04/2020 20:08

@Pippop21 yes know exactly what you mean. It’s such a weird feeling.

Pippop21 · 07/04/2020 21:02

Its doing my head in, I'm starting to get slight nausea now when i haven't eaten for a while, I'm starving as soon as i open my eyes but the only thing i really feel like eating is crackers with mature cheese on and vimto! I cant get enough of vimto! Has to be the cordial and strong lol!! Even buttery toast is becoming a chore to eat now! I just cba doing anything! And i want to put a frying pan over my partners head on the regular hahaha
