Hey, thought id make a group for people to join who are have just got BFP and due around the 25th to the end of november!

@Pinktruffle sorry to hear your spotting, I know we have had similar experiences. I’ve been thinking of you. As you probably know, it can be common especially with Ivf to have bleeding but I know you will still be wary...keep us posted how you get on. Sending hugs xxx

@GillianHolroyd I could but I doubt they would do anything due to Covid. I know women who have had heavy bleeding are being told to stay home.

I've called my clinic and they've said to up my pessary to three times a day and to call on Monday if I need more.

She asked if I was having cramping which I'm not. I asked if I should be worried and she said it is common to have spotting and often things are fine but sometimes the bleeding gets heavier and you can miscarry and to keep an eye out for that. She said if it turns in to bleeding to do another pregnancy test and call them. I only have one pregnancy test left but lots of ovulation sticks, can I use those? They will see me on Thursday for my scan as planned

Hey! I’m due 27th nov! Same as a lot of ladies here I have had previous miscarriage so trying not to get too excited til I’ve had that scan. I’ve had on and off nausea, sore boobs, period like pain and I’ve been a bit tired and moody haha! Yesterday I couldn’t leave the sofa lol. I’ve seen in my area they aren’t allowing partners to go to scans which I’m pretty upset about. The CV situation is a worry but in the other hand not working so can put feet up and no one knows that I’m not drinking etc - I’m usually quite social so ppl noticed straight away last time. I hated it when people asked “are you preg” so annoying! Just don’t ask lol! Hope everyone else is doing ok

Hi al! Ive been made busy with work so havent been on as much! Im a keyworker for a dom care company so have to go out an assess all the new clients and weve had tonnes with all this C-19! The hospitals are throwing all the medically fit out as soon as they can to make space!!

Anyway my scans tomorrow im 6+4 today still no symptoms at all other than tender nipples that seem to range in severity! Today i can hardly feel the pain so i havent got much hope for good news tomorrow 😫 but i will post once i know the out come even though i already know i'll be arrange management of a MM xxx

@Pippop21good luck with your scan, are you having a private one? I’m debating whether to do one.

Good luck at your scan @Pippop21 I still don’t have much symptoms either! Or if I do they are coming and going!! Trying to stay calm x

Not sure if this is reassuring but I went to get an early scan because I had bad cramps and spotting! Everything was totally fine. She said spotting is totally normal at an early stage. My further spotting was caused by a wee cyst on my right ovary but it's very small and nothing to be concerned about apparently. Good luck today @Pippop21 let us know how you get on xx

@KrissyMB thanks hunnie i have bad two previous miscarriages so not a lot works now. I havent had any bleeding just loss of symptoms the only one that has stayed is the tender boobs xx

Yes im paying private for my scan, its with window to the womb...i called epu that wont scan me as im not bleeding or cramping (i have had mild cramps but as theyre not localising to one side they wont scan) and i tried to get my HCG bloods done but they also wont do that cause of bloody C-19 😡

Oh apart from today and i got up at about half 9....and fell asleep on the sofa about 11:30am and never woke back up until 30 mins ago! Im putting that down to working loads though as this is my first weekend off in ages and i didnt feel tired i just woke up haha i still dont have a full feeling in my uterus so im prepared for the worse x

Glad you got to speak to someone xxx The Ovulation strips won’t work - they test for a different hormone, you need a pregnancy test xxx Good that you have a scan booked for this coming week xxxx

@pinktruffle, I stand corrected 😂 I was just told that it gave a higher chance of false negatives as the hormones are of slightly different structures (LH compared to HCG) I’ve got some spares of preg strips, am happy to post them to you if need?

Aww bless you, that's very sweet @gillianholroyd. I still have one for the time being and hopefully won't need to use it. I might order some off Amazon if I think I need them

Hi, I dont know whether anybody has had a similar experience to me hence my asking. I'm just curious.

I am currently TTC my 2nd

I ovulated 27th March.. we DTD 24th & 26th..
On the days following up too & including this post today.. I have had period-like pains. So much so, whenever I go to the toilet i am expecting to see my AF. I am 8DPO & dont usually experience cramping each and everyday from my day of ovulation!!
My boobs aren't sore but I feel angry and impatient and generally just exhausted. Is this PMS or a pregnancy. I dont want to test I'm just so curious because of the cramping since OV!

Has anybody else experienced this?

@johns2011 theyre both PMS and pregnancy symptoms so the only way you would know is by testing- good luck x

So todays the day 🤢 my scans at 10:30am! I havent much hope but miracles do happen i suppose! I'll let you all know how i get on later xxx

I’ve woke up this morning to spotting and I’ve been saying last couple of day’s my symptoms have stopped. I just knew it was gonna happen again 😪

@Mctm123 😭😭😭😭 oh no! I hope the spotting subsides. Im gutted for you! Ive still had no bleeding as yet so if it not a viable pregnancy then its another MM for me (taking me to me 3rd in a row) 😔
Are you going to call EPAU?

@Pippop21 3rd in a row for me too. No I’m not going to ring them cos I know the drill already. I’d rather just let it happen at home. Getting mild cramps now. One thing is for certain my IVF journey is over!! Can’t do it anymore!! X

@Pippop21 I don’t know if I’ve got the heart to do it though. We’re 13k down and we have a 4 year old to think of so I’d rather spend my money on him. Don’t think it’s fair to just keep throwing money at it. Crazy as well cos our son was natural but it’s just not happened since. Will probably go back to trying naturally but not thinking about it, if you know what I mean. Just don’t understand it at all. Anyway let us know how you get on, good luck!! Xx
