@Pippop21 funnily enough cheese is the one thing I can tolerate too. I wake up starving and usually have a small bowl of granola or porridge. I have sat down to dinner the last two nights and only eaten half of it. I think little and often will be the way to go.

Pinecone88 · 08/04/2020 07:22

@Pippop21 I feel the same, always hungry, but nothing is appealing. The only think my body seems to want is fruit, any juicy fruit. So for dinner last night I had some strawberries and a bowl of melon 🤷
Because of what I am eating, I am clearly lacking nutrients, what ever I eat I try to add chia seeds, flax seeds and hemp seeds.

Morning, can I please join? I'm 10 weeks today, frozen embryo transfer #3. I have a nearly 8yr old son (also IVF). I've just about come through the worst of the nausea etc and my boobs aren't burning anymore like they were - we had a scan at the clinic at 7+2 and 12w scan is on 22nd April but I'm petrified of MMC as I had one years ago and had to have a D&C. Would be nice to chat to others during this crisis (I also have lung disease so literally not leaving the house)

peachypetite · 08/04/2020 11:12

I just had cheese on toast and it tasted like the best thing ever.

ChampooPapi · 08/04/2020 11:23

@Maggie9000 welcome 👋

Rara88Cas · 08/04/2020 11:35

Hi guys I'm due 21 November - so I'm 7+4 and It's been a roller-coaster last few weeks. I'm high risk due to my BMI so super anxious.
I've had days where I'm shattered, nauseous, bloated, aversions etc, then I have days like today where I've got nothing but slightly tender chest.
I keep convincing myself that somethings gone wrong, then I wake up after a few days and suddenly 'feel pregnant' again! it's a nightmare, debated private scan but just dont know whether it's the best option, especially under lock-down!

Pippop21 · 08/04/2020 19:07

Currently eating cheese pizza, and had mature cheddar cheese sandwich for lunch! Cant get enough of cheese 🤪 dont know what thats all about lol! Xx

@Pippop21 😂 so glad it isn’t me. I have a steak bake in the oven. I never eat shit like this usually. I’ll try and have some fruit after. I can’t believe how many carbs and how much cheese I’m eating but I think you just have to eat what you fancy which atm isn’t much.

JustFrigginNameChange · 08/04/2020 19:41

@Pippop21 yup I've got that too. It's like i want to eat all the time but when i look in the fridge or at ordering food the thought makes me feel sick.

What i really did enjoy today though was a seaweed salad and spicy salmon sushi. Oh my god was that amazing! Especially the salad, it really hit the spot. With a bit of pickled ginger also. Heaven!

Pippop21 · 08/04/2020 19:42

@peachypetite haha! No me either! I try to be good when i can usually, but what i usually eat just tastes shit! 😫 i made my son chicken sausages for his tea, took a whiff and was like NOPE!!! Haha xxx

Pippop21 · 08/04/2020 19:43

@JustFrigginNameChange sounds nice! U can keep the sushi though 🤢 haha xx

I’m the same - just can’t stomach most things - had plain jacket potato and sweet corn for lunch and am about to have plain pasta - I just can’t face any type of flavours. I’ve also had a stitch for two hours and it really hurts.
Welcome to the new joiners xxx

peachypetite · 08/04/2020 20:03

I love cooking and cook from scratch always but this is just the worst. Literally nothing proper appeals. Luckily I’ve not been sick once so I’m hoping that’s the case for as long as possible.

JustFrigginNameChange · 08/04/2020 20:15

Has anyone else had a bad headache? I had one that lasted all of yesterday but it's been better today. I woke up quite dizzy as well this morning

Razmataz92 · 08/04/2020 20:17

Hi all, I’ve been following for a little while. I’m about 6+2 pregnant now. With my first baby I was really really sick and had terrible food aversions from the start. This time round I’m eating everything and don’t really have any symptoms apart from a dry mouth and occasional cramps. Anyone else feeling very few symptoms? Or had such a difference between pregnancies? I’m feeling so worried today about it all.

peachypetite · 08/04/2020 20:19

@JustFrigginNameChange yes I have been headachey the last couple of days but I think it’s because I’ve been hungry but not able to eat because nothing appeals. Make sure you keep fluids up.

peachypetite · 09/04/2020 07:27

Welcome to the new ladies. From what I have been reading it is completely normal for feelings and symptoms to fluctuate. I am trying not to over analyse because I know it’s most likely everything is fine, unfortunately I’m wfh in a role that’s gone very quiet so I have far too much time on my hands to obsess.

Pippop21 · 09/04/2020 07:35

@Razmataz92 hi love!

Yes i had hardly any symptoms, had sore boobs, a little nausea but nothing extreme to the point i thought i could be imagining it, had a scan at 6+4 and baby had a heartbeat. I go back on the 19th for another scan where i'll be 8+4. Symptoms now at 7+1 are sore boobs off and on aomw days more painful than others, some nausea but nothing extreme, yawning a bit more but no extreme tiredness. Good luck xx

EithneBlue · 09/04/2020 08:17

Just so you all know, all that talk of cheese led to me eating a fat bowl of cheesy pasta last night.
No food aversions here (apart from one weird incident on Saturday when Iooked at my husband's curry after he offered me a bite and was like 'absolutely not' - he was eating some mild creamy monstrosity, though, rather than a proper curry) I think I have the opposite: I miss brie. And wine. And rare steak. And more than one cup of real coffee per day. And in this weather a jug of Pimm's in the garden with a book. And the fact that I never used to wash my fruit and now apparently I have to, which is effort (although maybe I'm just disgusting).

@Razmataz92 I think it's totally normal: remember that statistically the overwhelming probability is that everything is fine :-) An older friend of mine didn't realise she was pregnant for 4 months with her oldest - the symptoms were so mild for that kid that she attributed it to stress until her jeans got too tight!

Is anyone else having really vivid, full colour, peculiar dreams? I am literally waking up every morning like WTF just happened in my subconscious?!

EithneBlue · 09/04/2020 08:19

@Razmataz92 sorry, that story should say her youngest (of 4!): is it too early to blame my typos on baby brain?!

Pippop21 · 10/04/2020 14:23

@EithneBlue omg i hear ya sister!!!! I also never washed my fruit or my lettuce for that matter so that makes two dirt bags haha!
Yes the dreams! I met typson and parson fury last night at the local tesco!! She was getting out of a taxi and he was at the cash machine! I had a few selfies with her and then i woke up like what the hell 🤣🤣🤣🤣 i am remembering all my dreams lately i love it lol!!

Mega tired today! Got work at half 4 until 9-30pm and im already looking forward to my bed lol! Xxx
