@Pippop21 am so sorry to hear you’re struggling at the moment - when I had my daughter, my symptoms disappeared a couple of weeks before my early scan, then picked up at about 12w - so I’ve got everything crossed for you xxx
Am sorry to hear about you and your partner - lockdown is just putting such intense strain on everything and everyone - please try to look after yourself, do something for you today that makes you feel relaxed - perhaps a warm bath or a good film xxx we’re here if and when you need to chat xx

Hello, I am due 22nd Novemeber and new to net mums 🙋
I had a MMC in 2019 @ 12 +5 (baby stopped developing at 8or9 weeks), understandably I am more anxious then I anticipated and giving myself a hard time about being anxious 🤔
So I am looking for advice or reassurance that my worries are normal?!?
I have had sore boobs, no sickness but food aversion and neasea but these all seam to be settling down already. I am not peeing as much, wake up feeling fine and I actually haven't been very tired this time around.. However I wonder if its because I am off what with Covid ect, I am resting more and sleeping loads. Last time I had a feeling something wasn't right at 11 weeks when my symptoms let up, again that was just sore boobs and tiredness, no other symptoms. I am definetly analysing these each day and internally worrying. So I thought someone on here may have had a similar lot of symptoms? Please do share if so, I would be grateful to be able to talk to others during this anxious wait for the scan...
Thanks for reading! ❤️

Zdb16x · 18/04/2020 15:51

@Pippop21 - hope you are ok. How did the scan go?

I'm 7+6 today. Have an early scan tomorrow and I'm so nervous ladies.

Seems like all my symptoms have gone? Done more pregnancy tests (I've literally done one every day since finding out at 5 weeks.) And they're coming out as strong positives. But I can't help but worry.

Xx

peachypetite · 18/04/2020 16:03

All I’ve heard is it’s normal for symptoms to come and go. We all have too much time on our hands to over analyse I think.
I’ve been craving fresh fruit! Have a food shop coming next week but that feels so far away. Just managed to get fruit and sweets delivered from the coop via deliveroo. So happy.

Furbabymum15 · 18/04/2020 16:06

@Cmacq32 I am in exactly the same boat as u.
I had a MMC 7 years ago, I'm currently 8+2 and son anxious waiting for my scan. Last time I didn't really have symptoms but this time I have sore boobs, no sickness and that awful taste in my mouth.

It's perfectly normal to be anxious tbh I'm going out of my head with worry x

Pippop21 · 18/04/2020 16:09

@Zdb16x acans tomorrow at 12pm xx

Ladies i think i have just heard a heartbeat on the doppler!!! Can u attach voice notes in here?? Would like someone elses view before i get excited

OP posts:
peachypetite · 18/04/2020 16:12

@Pippop21 don’t rely on a home Doppler. You could be misinterpreting, unless you have had medical training? Think I saw you say you were frontline earlier.

Pippop21 · 18/04/2020 16:25

@peachypetite its defo it, i have compared it to the loss from nov heart beat and theyre the same just this ones harder to hear as im not as far along and i found my own also.
Im not medically trained to use a doppler no, but i did use it daily with my first loss so im pretty sure i have fount it

@Pippop21 none of us are in a position to listen and advise you :( I know you are very anxious but you’ll find out at your medical scan tomorrow with a professional.

Pippop21 · 18/04/2020 16:41

@peachypetite im not asking foe advise im asking for views, if you dont wish to join the group then no problems Smile

OP posts:
Cmacq32 · 18/04/2020 17:14

Congratulations on your new pregnancy! It's so hard not to worry, when I fell pregnant last time I was in a bubble and didn't even know about MMC. It's healthy to be in tune with your body and know what's normal for you, last time I was so sure something was very wrong and was told repeatedly not to worry. If I haven't had any symptoms by Monday I will call the MW and take advice... In the meantime I really hope all goes well for you xxx

Cmacq32 · 18/04/2020 17:16

@peachypetite all I have lived on up untill Thursday has been anything fruit and fresh! I can't stand the thought of a hot meal... I have a bowl of Olives and crackers the other night for my tea! Today I am cooking pasta as not feeling the aversion today!

GillianHolroyd · 18/04/2020 18:49

@Pippop21 I think the idea of an FB group is really good - so much easier for us all to chat and share things xx I like it! X

Pippop21 · 19/04/2020 20:06

Hey!! Not long stopped!! Did get a little nap in from 2-4pm 🤣

For anyone not yet in the FB group my scan went well baby was measuring two days ahead of when they last measured so dated me 8+6 and due on the 23rd BUT i think in going to stick with a due date of the 25th as i cant go off their dating anyway and have yo go off the NHS one at 12 week scan! I'll attach a pic and u can just make out the little arm and leg buds 🥰

Due around 25th November 2020
