@peachypetite Bristol Burger King is opening for delivery... I actually prefer Burger King now as I worked at McDonald's when I was a student and ate too much of it Grin

I'm currently sitting in bed deciding whether this nausea is going to progress to puking or whether I am safe to proceed with the gardening (and the schoolwork I need to get done before Monday LOL).

peachypetite · 16/04/2020 09:00

@eithneblue I’ll have to see what’s open near me! Are you going to treat yourself later?

Rara88Cas · 16/04/2020 09:40

@EithneBlue so jealous! we've got nothing in Castleford other than standard take away - I'd kill for a Maccy's or BK!

Saraelle · 17/04/2020 09:47

Morning ladies,

Missed a day so just caught up with the chat. Weirdly I was craving maccys yesterday so I was googling how to make a Big Mac 😂

My nausea is back after a couple of days off. Got to see my 7 week old Blueberry on Wednesday and a little heart beat! Only one in there, but I am ok with that. Have been given 3 different dates of arrival! 1/3/4 December! I’m sure it will come when it’s ready.

Not noticed really sore boobs but definitely getting bigger! Have already got sports bras and some bigger supportive ones, just ordered an extender as they are a little tight.

Hope you’re all keeping well xx

KrissyMB · 17/04/2020 11:58

I definitely need to get on with ordered some new bras, especially sports bras. I hate reading some things and seeing "at the early stages your body shape wont change a huge amount"....my waistband and bras will disagree!!! How are we all keeping?x

Amymone · 17/04/2020 12:21

Anyone else craving sugar like crazy? Easter eggs lying around, which I can't stomach at the mo. But I'm into my 4th day of fantasising about Haribo Tangfastics and am sending DP out to hunt some down. Feel guilty but it's all I can think about!!

Just occurred to me it might be booze withdrawal... I gave up alcohol for a few months last year and also found myself craving sugar. I'm normally a salty/savoury person but I guess the sugar in vino all adds up and we don't realise how much our bodies are used to. Just a theory!

MummyShark97 · 17/04/2020 12:32

I'm honestly having different cravings all the time! I've had a couple of days now with the nausea easing off, it's so nice to feel like I'm getting a breather. Going to check with the Drs today whether my booking appointment is still face to face next week. Hope everyone else is doing good!

peachypetite · 17/04/2020 12:36

My nausea is back today after a couple of days break. I’m not bothering to wear a bra and haven’t left the house for days but my boobs do feel bigger.

MummyShark97 · 17/04/2020 13:30

@peachypetite sorry to hear that !!! hope you feel okay soon.

Surgery says midwife apps are still face to face, assuming I'll be having a blood test though? and I was so rubbish last time I had one and felt faint, hopefully I can just get on with what I need to do as can't really take OH with me.

peachypetite · 17/04/2020 13:35

@MummyShark97 mine is next week too and I also need to check it’s still in person!

KrissyMB · 17/04/2020 15:21

My tablets are giving me a little light relief from extreme nausea. It's still there but not as bad. And yes @amymone I am craving fizzy strawberry laces 🙈

ChampooPapi · 17/04/2020 17:28

@KrissyMB I'm so pleased for you they are helping. I found out today at an 8 week scan at the hospital (had bleeding the last week) that rather then miscarrying I'm actually having twins! So double the hormones, which definitely makes sense as to my level of neseua and head aches. Plus the general diying on every soft furnishing 🙄

@peachypetite girl, today was the first time I've left the house or garden for the last three weeks, and even then it was braless. Viva la no bra! 💪

peachypetite · 17/04/2020 17:38

Oh my god, twins! Do they run in the family? How do you feel about that? I still can’t stop thinking about McDonald’s.

ChampooPapi · 17/04/2020 17:44

@peachypetite no family link, just luck of the draw 🤦😆

They are non identica so two separate (I want to say 'sacks' but that obviously the wrong word!) Pods? 😅

So crazy really, 2 eggs were released and both were fertilized by a sperm each. So technically they can look completely different, they just share the womb. My head nearly fell off when the sonographer told me, even she had tears in her eyes.

It was the emergency early pregnancy unit so I imagine a lot of the scans are not good news.

ChampooPapi · 17/04/2020 17:45

My last one certainly wasn't good news so this has made up for it in spades 🌈♥️

MummyShark97 · 17/04/2020 17:46

@champoopapi congratulations! that's amazing

peachypetite · 17/04/2020 17:52

Wow, amazing. Is this your first pregnancy? Make sure you take extra good care of yourself lovely.

KrissyMB · 17/04/2020 18:04

@ChampooPapi ahhh this is so exciting!!! What a shock that must have been. I had an early scan done after some bleeding but only one sac seen. Just my body clearly hates being pregnant with how rubbish I feel. My poor hubby is trying his best to cheer me up!

Amymone · 17/04/2020 19:08

@ChampooPapi that nearly happened to me! Had an early scan and they saw I had ovulated from both ovaries at the same time?! Could only see one baby though. Congrats on your twins!

Amymone · 17/04/2020 19:09

@KrissyMB I want fizzy laces now!! Still waiting on my Haribo....

ChampooPapi · 17/04/2020 20:33

Thanks all 🙌 hope everyone can start to see some kind of end to the sickness times as we progress towards the 12 week scans next month. Obviously April is a complete write off, and more laying and moaning on sofas or under duvets will be done. But we have all reached a pretty good point now, most of us are 8 weeks or there abouts so we've got through I'd definitely say the hardest part. And I mean the hardest part. Labour is easier then the first trimester 🤢 times.

@peachypetite it's my 4th pregnancy, we have tow girls already and the last pregnancy was a no go. I would say 100 percent it's going to be my last..4 children is enough!

@Amymone so great to see your bean and everything progressing well, it is really such a boost at this time isn't it? That's amazing they could see that you ovulated from both ovaries. Those sonograhers are incredible.

@Saraelle you must be so relieved that you've seen your little one. I can imagine initially bitter sweet having had two implanted, but it is a miracle of biology every time any of our beans make it, however they do, so your little miracle has happened and in 7 months time you'll be holding them, so happy for you 🙌🌈

ChampooPapi · 17/04/2020 20:35

@MummyShark97 thanks lovely, how far are you along? Is this your second baby?

Saraelle · 17/04/2020 20:54

@ChampooPapi congratulations on your news! And thank you. I can’t wait for that time to fly so I can meet my little person 😊

I’m glad some of you are saying you’re craving sweet stuff, my other half things I am not right 😂. Not had any strange cravings. But did make him buy dips and Doritos!

Pippop21 · 17/04/2020 22:03

@ChampooPapi aww congratulations thats such lovely news xxxx
