Surely I couldn't be pregnant from that?

H and I had sex last Monday but only for about 20 seconds (it was in between other acts) and it was nowhere near the time he finished but my period is a few days late and I feel sick. That's the only time we've had actual sex since January and I had my period last month and took a test mid February just to be sure. Surely that 20 seconds (nowhere NEAR finishing) couldn't result in a pregnancy? TIA.

You had sex. It’s possible. Pre cum.

hillyholly · 26/03/2020 16:33

For literally 20-30 seconds @Wolfiefan well before he finished. Could pre cum be that early?

Well do a test.

JuanSheetIsPlenty · 26/03/2020 16:34

Only one way to find out and that way isn’t by asking on MN.

hillyholly · 26/03/2020 16:35

I know but I'm too scared @JuanSheetIsPlenty , it just seems impossible to me.

OP posts:
hillyholly · 26/03/2020 16:36

@LuluJakey1 it was only last Monday, a test wouldn't come up yet would it?

OP posts:
Wolfiefan · 26/03/2020 16:36

If you really thought it was impossible then you wouldn’t be asking.
Time to test.

hillyholly · 26/03/2020 16:37

Would a test be accurate from 10 days ago @Wolfiefan ?

OP posts:
Wolfiefan · 26/03/2020 16:39

If your period is due and hasn’t arrived then a test should be accurate.

JuanSheetIsPlenty · 26/03/2020 16:42

it just seems impossible to me.

Well then accept it’s impossible and forget about it. Time will tell you one way or the other. You don’t need a test.

Amymayapple · 26/03/2020 16:45

I think there is a very small chance. Either way do not be scared, because you have a lot of options.

Early term abortion is very simple - you take a tablet.

Take a test and see, I know it can be scary to do. But know that you have options, especially as you are this early.

ITasteSpring · 26/03/2020 16:48

The'withdrawal method' is not contraception.

Amymayapple · 26/03/2020 16:50

This is a little bit unrelated, but similiar.

I had unprotected sex, literally, and I am not under estimating this, for five seconds. We were arguing about using a condom (I wanted him to wear one). He slipped it in for five seconds, and I made him stop, and he did pull out.

I caught an absolute raging STI from him.
It is four weeks later, I have taken a long course of antibiotics, my vagina is in pain every night, I am still in internal pain every day, and not cured yet.

I couldn't believe that he was able to infect me that badly from five seconds of being inside me.

It just shows us how much is able to be transferred to us from a penis being inside us, even for a few seconds.

sel2223 · 26/03/2020 16:56

Is it possible? Yes (however unlikely)

But it could also just be that your period is a little late this month. Even with a regular cycle, people can sometimes have a late period....or even skip one altogether....with no explanation.

MadameJosephine · 26/03/2020 17:35

It is absolutely possible. One of my friends had a baby and had never actually had penetrative sex

hillyholly · 31/03/2020 13:46

I took a test on Thursday but it was negative. Period is a week late now but I'm too scared to take another one (not that I have another one). Sad

OP posts:
whereHaveAllTheLooRollsGone · 31/03/2020 13:50

It's really really unlikely.

When you took your test on Thursday, was you period officially late? If so, you are unlikely to be pregnant. Stressing about being pregnant could now be delaying your period. Anxiety over a pandemic/money worries etc can also do this.

hillyholly · 31/03/2020 13:52

It's over a week late @whereHaveAllTheLooRollsGone

OP posts:
SylvanianFrenemies · 31/03/2020 13:53

It's unlikely. But you'll need to test.

Aloe6 · 31/03/2020 13:53

Yes, very unlikely. Sperm isn’t in pre-cum unless he’s already ejaculated.

hillyholly · 31/03/2020 13:54

I wouldn't be able to keep it but how would I even get an abortion right now? I can't drive and live in the middle of nowhere (I'm learning before anyone says anything).

kittykat7210 · 31/03/2020 13:54

@hillyholly

My husband produces a lot of pre cum, it’s not unusual for him to start producing before his boxers are off. Pre cum can happen at any time, it’s not exclusively just before ejaculation!

MagnoliaJustice · 31/03/2020 13:56

Order another pregnancy test online from Amazon.

If you are pregnant, would you be continuing with it, or seeking a termination?

Whatever you decide, time is on your side.

Didntwanttochangemyname · 31/03/2020 13:57

You can have an 'at home' abortion if it's early enough. Do a test, call your GP. Act now rather than sitting worrying Flowers

hillyholly · 31/03/2020 13:57

I couldn't keep it @MagnoliaJustice but how would I get an early abortion in the middle of all of this?
