H and I had sex last Monday but only for about 20 seconds (it was in between other acts) and it was nowhere near the time he finished but my period is a few days late and I feel sick. That's the only time we've had actual sex since January and I had my period last month and took a test mid February just to be sure. Surely that 20 seconds (nowhere NEAR finishing) couldn't result in a pregnancy? TIA.

Try and order a clear blue online, and do another in a few days.
If it isn’t the news you want, there are options. You’ll just need to speak to your GP, but even amidst this, you’ll have options.

Don't panic, as others have said there are options if you are.
I had a chemical pregnancy from the exact scenario you describe so yes it is possible.

Hmmmm if your period is a week late then that line is very very faint considering. I would expect a strong positive at a week late. Are your periods quite variable? Or like clockwork? There is a shadow on the tests. I wouldn't say they are positive yet though.

The best solution is to stop testing and give it at least 2 days, preferably wait until Friday. If the same shadow appears then you know it must be negative.

The shadow is a whole portion of the test - that is why I think it is negative

They've relaxed the rules on early terminations for now OP as pp have said. You will be able to get what you need, if necessary, to end a pregnancy at home. Don't panic. It's sortable.

Honestly I think that's negative. If you're a week late I'd imagine if it was positive it would show up alot clearer than that.

I would bet money its negative that's how confident I feel.

Sometimes people just miss periods for no reason. I've missed a couple periods in my life and dr did tests and everything was normal and he said it's just one of those things.

I can see something of a second line but I think you will have to retest. As pp said they have passed a law so you can have an early abortion at home if that is the route you want/need to take.
