H and I had sex last Monday but only for about 20 seconds (it was in between other acts) and it was nowhere near the time he finished but my period is a few days late and I feel sick. That's the only time we've had actual sex since January and I had my period last month and took a test mid February just to be sure. Surely that 20 seconds (nowhere NEAR finishing) couldn't result in a pregnancy? TIA.

Don't you read the news OP? They have changed the law temporarily (UK) so you can contact your GP for abortion at home. Yes you could be pregnant and you have all options

No. I'd be really, really surprised, OP.
You're probably just randomly late. Anxiety plays a big role in that.
I had a similar scenario a few years ago with DH and I was unbelievably 10 days late (I am like clockwork). I actually then got myself quite psyched up about the possibility of having another baby. But no, I was just really late. Sometimes, it just happens.
Test again though. You can't rule out pregnancy completely but if you're past your period due date and you've tested negative since, it's unlikely. I hope I'm not bursting your bubble.

Cross-post, I see yo wold be terminating the pregnancy. Phone BPAS and discuss it with them - if you are pregnant.

Order some condoms online at the same time as the pregnancy test btw.

Early termination would be medically managed at home. You will need to get the medication prescribed and the prescription issued by a pharmacist. You won't have to go anywhere. Don't panic, you're probably not even pregnant.

There’s a shadow on it. Not sure if from the light or it’s a line but from that photo I can’t tell. Can you take a photo from directly below the light source so there is no shadow?

But as others have said, it could also be the light. Sometimes those type of shadow lines mean nothing, sometimes they are the start of a positive, was it first morning urine or late in the day?

Try a clear blue digital test. You can buy in a pharmacy. They will test at this early.

@Amymayapple clear blue digital might say negative at this point, despite if she’s pregnant or not, they are notoriously non sensitive.

@hillyholly I would wait until Thursday/Friday morning and use first morning urine on a new test, if that is the start of a positive it should be obvious in 2 days especially with first morning urine

@hillyholly I’m sorry if I’m panicking you, I didn’t want to lie and say I saw nothing when I do, sometimes tests get shadow lines with No pregnancy. It’s not a definite yes as it’s not an obvious positive, try and stay calm. The likelihood with just Pre cum is fairly low anyway. Like I said I just didn’t want to lie and say I saw nothing xxx

i see a line, very faint. One of mine was very very faint (i had to get it in black and white colour to see it). Currently bounding round my living room on sugar

very possible - get a first response one that says pregnant or not on,ina few days

there are worst things in life OP, dont panic!

Thank you @kittykat7210 and @Amymayapple - I do appreciate the honesty, no point in having my head in the sand. I'm in a really difficult position and it's not a case of wanting an abortion, I just couldn't feasibly have another for many reasons. I'll keep you all updated but it's fair to say that I'm panicking Sad
