December 2020 babies

Hi all,

I'm jumping the gun a little with this as I'm pregnant and found out earlier than a missed period (it's 3 days away)

I had a miscarriage at the start of February so I'm terrified, but trying to be optimistic all will be okay. My lines are getting darker, which they didn't do last time.

Anyone else due in December?

@MrsB2019x I completely understand the terror, but lots of lovely women responded to my thread the other day when I was bleeding bright red blood and it doesn't mean that it's all over. The advice I was given by my local EPU on Saturday was that if I wasn't filling a pad with blood every hour and the pain was manageable with paracetamol, to go to bed and wait and see what happens. They will take me in in 7 days if it was still happening. I'm still wiping blood but it's turned brown, but I'm still having cramping on and off most of the day. You might be able to book a private scan at 6 weeks? I've not managed to find anyone willing to see me before then for either a scan or bloods. Would you like me to tag you into my other thread so you can read what those posters said to me? Xx

@AnnieCa34 It's not too bad to be fair, it's quite a mild one. I got the drs to give me a call & they prescribed me a pessary. They said pessary and creams are fine in pregnancy, it's the oral tablets you can't take whilst pregnant ☺️x

@MrsB2019x I really hope you are ok. Not sure with the current situation with the GP's are like but last year when the same happened to me I rang in the morning and got seen straight away when I explained.xx

Thank you so much @MrsC2018. Part of my brain is saying that it might not all be over and just one of those things, the other part is thinking that I might as well just expect the worst and then if it’s not, then great. I’m having some cramping, it feels more like a bloaty kind of cramp. I’ll see how I get on but I don’t have a good feeling about it.

@AnnieCa34 Thank you I had a look but the nearest one is about an hour away ☹️ I'll just have to see what happens with the place near me. I have a Cavalier x Springer but he's been a bit funny with me since I got pregnant, it's like he's in a mood with me! Has anyone else had the same?

@AnnieCa34 I have a little cavapoo - Bertie. He'll be 4 this month. I work from home mostly so he's always been clingy! Yours will not be impressed when lockdown ends! x

@BettyS89 if anything mine is more clingy than usual. Like he knows something is up. Probably just because I'm a bag of nerves. Poor thing always comes with me to the bathroom so with the constant nicker checking he's getting his steps in!! x

Anyone else noticing emotional changes? I seem to have been grumpy all day today. Really short tempered. Hoping it's the progesterone. Or else I'm just a grumpy bugger.

@aitch07 😂 mine like to try and come to the loo with me too 🤭 it's a bit embarrassing when we have people round! I have a chihuahua as well as my Cav x but she's still all over me. It's just him who suddenly prefers my husband!

I'm sorry @MrsB2019x I really hope is not bad news and that you are able to see your Dr or get an early scan very soon. You do hear of lots of people bleeding which turns out ok in the end

@MrsC2018 @AnnieCa34 @aitch07 can't believe how many people on here have cavalier crosses or cavapoos. They really are the best dogs. Our Maggie is 4 and a half. I don't think anything different, she is the centre of her own universe! She will be in for a shock when we go back to work

@confused107 mine is my 3rd Cav, I absolutely adore the breed ❤️ she's more clingy than normal, is constantly trying to sit right on me!

@MrsC2018 good luck with your scan! I think there have been quite a few on here (myself included) that have had spotting so it's not uncommon! Obviously we will all worry our heads off but fingers crossed it's all okay 🤞🏼 x

Thanks @LBJ2410 I really didn't know that on Saturday night as I never bled with my son, I just assumed I was having a miscarriage and was terrified. I genuinely did not realise how awful it would actually be once I ended up pregnant! Isn't it strange that this week has been worse than the IVF 🙈 thanks for the reassurance and support though, I can't tell you how much it's appreciated ❤️

My two! A rare moment when they not on my lap! Lol. Love them to bits, but yeh when I go back to work it’s gonna be awful! We have a dog walker but it’s not the same for them! I can’t even practice leaving them for a bit as the one bit of exercise we get I take them out!

The line on my test was so dark, it almost doesn’t look real!
