Hello, just thought I would see who else was out there at around 14 weeks, same as me!
Would be nice to chat to others at the same stage about what we are experiencing and how and when everyone starts getting bits and becoming slightly more organised.

Hiya! I'm 14 weeks today ☺️ headaches have come back with a vengeance but other than that all is well! What's your due date? 👶🏼

Astar123 · 16/03/2020 21:37

I am 14+2 Smile

Mummy2be20 · 16/03/2020 21:58

I am 14 + 3, due date 11th sept!
How have you been feeling? I was so had with nausea at the beginning. My sciatic nerve is playing up which is very painful and I am starting to feel my jeans are tight!!
Weeing constantly x

Astar123 · 16/03/2020 23:40

@Mummy2be20 I felt awful in the beginning too, I got put on an IV drip at 7 weeks and was sent home with some anti sickness which eventually stopped working but Im feeling a bit better now so fingers crossed🤞🏻& My clothes are getting tighter too!

Mummy2be20 · 17/03/2020 04:03

@Astar123 Oh dear that's awful!! At least your feeling better now! Is this your first?
Do you have any plans about when your going to start getting small essentials etc in and how long your waiting until you start on bigger bits and the nursery? I am so aware that everyone does it differently but would be good to know from people at the same stage?

OP posts:
Astar123 · 17/03/2020 08:02

@Mummy2be20 It is my first what about you? and my mums bought a few bits but i'm just slowly starting to buy here and there but nothing major just like blankets, cot sheets etc as they were on offer. I think i'm going to buy the essentials after the 20 week scan & then buy bigger things when I'm around 6 or 7 months. what are you plans on when to start buying things?

Amberb82 · 17/03/2020 08:43

Sorry to hear you've had such bad sickness 😷 I must be one of the lucky ones, no sickness just headaches and feeling tired all the time! I have an 18 month old though who has decided sleep is the enemy though so that doesn't help 🙈

I had awful sciatica with my first but the midwife sent to to physio and it was amazing! It helped so much so might be worth asking your midwife if you haven't already x

Mummy2be20 · 17/03/2020 09:04

@Astar123 yes my first too!!! 😍 we had a MC a year ago so I've been a nervous wreck at any aches and pains but starting to feel a bit more relaxed 🤞🏼
we have brought 2 outfits and that's it, we want to spread the cost of essentials like wipes, sheets, blankets etc when on offer But obviously not sure when to start!! We have said we will wait until a lot later on to get the big bits!!
@Amberb82 I have also not been physically sick! I felt very nauseas for a few weeks but touch wood a lot better now.
I have to self refer my self to physio so I will when I get 5 mins. I just need relief!!

Hello! Can I join this thread too? I'm 14 + 3 due on 12 September Smile super little miracle baby as miraculous natural conception over Xmas after going through IVF and egg collection in November and waiting for frozen embryo transfer in Spring this year!
So much anxiety about it all - and still can't quite believe it - just have to believe everything is ok! Having to work from home today too for don't know how long xxx

Bearbunch · 17/03/2020 19:00

Congrats lovelies!
I'm due 12th September too!!
I have not bought anything at all yet, I thought I'd have been going mad buying stuff but think I'll try and hold off.
Hip has been really sore in bed and jeans definitely don't fit 😂 not sure if I have a bump or if it's just bloat lol

Mummy2be20 · 17/03/2020 22:16

@JoJoTheresNoLimit Awh that's amazing news!! Congratulations!! I thought it would be nice to chat to others at the same sort of stage in pregnancy, everyone can tell us what happened to them but at least we can sort of help each other.
@Bearbunch I thought I would be as well but we literally brought 2 out fits!! When are you going too start? I can't wait!!
I feel you on the pain front, my sciatic nerve is playing up something chronic!! Hmm yes I'm the same, unsure if my belly is popping out a bit or if I look chubby in the tummy due to major bloating!!

OP posts:
JoJoTheresNoLimit · 17/03/2020 22:36

@Bearbunch and @Mummy2be20 I know what you mean. I’m calling my belly the “blump” at the moment, I’m unsure if it’s bloat or bump. Although in the last few days, im sure a little bump has appeared!
I’ve not bought anything, and now I feel pretty much housebound, so don’t know when I’ll get stuff ...

Sunflower2019 · 18/03/2020 09:43

Hey everyone, can I join? I’m due 13 sept. It’s my second, my daughter is nearly 12 tho so a massive gap, I had her quite young. Now 33 and feeling tired all the time 😂 headaches here and there but no sickness :)

I have extra scans booked in due to my daughter being quite small at birth aoaprentl she was 6lb 8oz which I didn’t think was overally small, I’m only 5Ft 1!

I’m excited and nervous and everything is growing on me. Already in leggings and baggy T-shirt’s.

I’ve bought a few small bits, think I’m waiting for the 20 week scan too! Xx

Astar123 · 18/03/2020 11:02

@Mummy2be20 Aw how exciting ❤️
@Amberb82 Im so jealous 🤣the things id do to not have the sickness along with my pregnancy @Bearbunch &
@JoJoTheresNoLimit Congratulations- we share the same due date

Amberb82 · 18/03/2020 11:33

@JoJoTheresNoLimit Omg that’s amazing! Huge congratulations 🥳 hahah ‘blump’ ... I’m so pinching that 😂

@Bearbunch My hips are bad too, my OH was making fun of me because I dragged out the pregnancy pillow already 🙈 it’s the only way to be comfy at night for me!

@Sunflower2019 aww we’re due date buddies! It’s my second also, but he is just over 18 months, not sure how much help he is going to be once baby arrives!

Will anyone be finding out the sex?

Mummy2be20 · 18/03/2020 12:08

My OH and I have always said no before we even for pregnant but now we have had an early scan and the 12 week scan I don't think we will be able to wait to find out the sex 😫😍
Is anyone else going to find out?

OP posts:
Amberb82 · 18/03/2020 12:47

@Mummy2be20 haha! we were the same with our first, kept saying no no no we don't want to spoil the surprise! But then at the 20 week scan we couldn't resist 😂 think we will find out this time too!

Mummy2be20 · 18/03/2020 12:54

@Amberb82 my Oh is so excited bless him!! It's so amazing, so I think we probably will find out!! I can't wait

OP posts:
Chanel05 · 18/03/2020 13:21

Hello :) I'm 14+1 and due on the 15th September. Still feeling nauseous all the time!

Astar123 · 18/03/2020 13:56

@Amberb82 Im going to find out the sex... I nearly booked an early gender scan but my OH is telling me to just wait 🙈
@Sunflower2019 Ive been told I may need extra scans as Ive been told I'm going to have a small baby but I'm only 5'0.
@Chanel05 Congratulations... fingers crossed it will start easing up for you 🤞🏻

JoJoTheresNoLimit · 18/03/2020 14:37

@Astar123 snap! I'm in the 5 foot club too!

I don't think we are going to find out the gender. Want a surprise!

Bearbunch · 18/03/2020 20:26

Blump I love it!! 😂😂

I actually was given a pregnancy pillow I must get it out to see if it helps I feel like an old lady with my hips today lol.

It's very exciting! Will be nice to share all these milestones with you girlies so close in due dates (and some the exact same date!!)

Mummy2be20 · 18/03/2020 21:37

@Bearbunch I must try and get hold of a pillow!! I wake up so much every night.
So nice that there's others at the same stage that we can chat about experiences!!
I am waiting and waiting until I can feel flutters, I've researched when that will be and every time it says different. I can't wait 😍
